Reverse Confetti - May Countdown To Confetti - Day One

Good morning friends!  I'm excited to be joining Reverse Confetti as a 'Fetti Friend for May and June.  Today is the first day of their May release countdown and I know you're going to love all the new products!  There are 6 new stamp sets and 10 new Confetti Cuts die sets.

All of today's cards feature the new Birthday Buddies and Birthday Buddies Banter stamp sets.  I absolutely adore all the cute animals in this set.

I diecut the scalloped panel with the Easter Panel Cover Panel Confetti Cuts, sponged it with Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks and spattered it with water drops.

I colored the images with copics and used a black glaze pen on their eyes.  I diecut the images with the coordinating Confetti Cuts.

To finish my card, I stamped a sentiment from the Birthday Buddies Banter stamp set and then adhered all the images with foam tape for added dimension.

For my next project, I used the new Circle Gift Card Holder Confetti Cuts along with the Birthday Buddies and Birthday Buddies Banter stamp sets.

I diecut the Circle Gift Card Holder from bristol card and sponged it with Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, and Broken China Distress Oxide Inks.  I stamped a sentiment along the top of the holder and adhered it to my red card base.

I colored the image with copics and used a black glaze pen on the eyes.  I used a white gel pen to add polka dots to the turtle's bow.  The image is adhered with foam tape only at the top (behind the balloons) and behind the turtle's body, so that the gift card can be easily removed.

My last project is a shaker gift tag that I created using the new Big Confetti Tag Confetti Cuts.  I diecut the tag and sponged it with Cracked Pistachio and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks.  I diecut some of the shaker bits from silver glitter paper and then added some clear sequins .

I colored the kitty in the box and party hat with copics and adhered them to the gift tag.  It's so hard to photograph tags with acetate - I promise the tag is cuter than this picture reflects.

Be sure to hop along and see what the rest of the crew has to share with you today.  Comment along the way for a chance to win a $25 Reverse Confetti gift certificate.  Leave a comment by noon CST on May 7th for a chance to win!

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Please drop by tomorrow as we'll be sharing more sneak peeks of the May release!

Hugs, Anita
