Happy 2016

Hello friends and Happy 2016!  I hope you had a fabulous New Year's Eve.  I wanted to share a card I made using a fun stamp and die from Your Next Stamp.

This happy monkey is from the Happy 2016 clear stamp set.  I colored the image with my copics and then cut him out using the coordinating die set.  Be sure to check out the stamp set in the photo below because it's a set you can use year after year - not just for 2016!  There are also other sentiments you can include on the monkey's sign.  I kept my card very CAS and simply added a few gumdrops for embellishments.

Thank you for stopping by.  I hope you and your loved ones have a happy and healthy New Year!

Hugs, Anita

Fa La La Laa Lahhhh

Good morning friends.  I know Christmas has come and gone but I still had one Christmas card that I wanted to share.  Paperie Ink is a fairly new stamp company and I was lucky enough to win one of their adorable stamp sets on facebook.

These cute hedgies are from the Christmas Carolers clear set.  Be sure to check it out because there are lots of sweet images and sentiments included in the set and it also happens to be on sale right now!  I used the foliage stamp to make it look as though the little hedgies are meeting under the mistletoe.  I'm not sure it actually looks like mistletoe but I still thought it turned out cute.  I colored the images with copics and then added a few enamel dots.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a great day!

Hugs, Anita

Warm Winter Wishes

Happy Wednesday!  So, I did a little (ok, maybe a lot) of shopping last month on Black Friday.  I stopped by Sunny Studio Stamps and picked up some adorable penguin stamps and I finally found a few minutes to color one of these cuties and make a winter card.

This sweet penguin is from the Snow Kissed clear stamp set.  Adorable, right?  I colored her (or him) with copics and used some Glossy Accents on the beak and the blades of the ice skates.  I used the coordinating die to cut out the penguin and popped her up on some foam tape.  Just a little bit of ribbon and a few sparkly sequins finished up my card.  If you haven't checked out the Sunny Studio Stamps shop be sure to stop by ... Mendi (the owner) has lots of cute stamp sets available!

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a great day!

Hugs, Anita

Your Next Stamp - December Feature Day

Good morning!  Today is Feature Day over on the Your Next Stamp Blog, which means that the team is sharing some new samples featuring the YNS stamps and dies.  Our theme this month is a winter theme.

I used the cute snowman from the Be Merry stamp set.  There are several adorable Christmas images in this set, along with some really fun sentiments.  I colored him with copics and then cut him out using the coordinating die set.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Die Set to cut some white cardstock and then I sponged on some blue ink for my background.  I added the words from the Holly Jolly Jessica die set and a few Ice Ice Baby Sparkly Gumdrops.

Be sure to stop by the Your Next Stamp Blog to see what the rest of the DT is sharing today.  If you leave a comment on the YNS Blog you may be the lucky winner of a stamp set of your choice!

My Coolest Friend

Good morning.  Are you ready for Christmas yet?  I've still got a couple of little stocking stuffers to pick up but otherwise I am done!  I even have most of the wrapping done, which is not like me at all.  I'm usually rushing to get everything wrapped and under the tree on Christmas eve.  Anyway, I thought I'd share another card I made using a fun Paper Smooches stamp and die set.

These frosty friends are from the Paper Smooches' Swanky Snowdudes clear stamp set.  It has lots of really cute snowmen and sentiments.  There's not much coloring required but I did use my copics and then cut them out using the coordinating die.  I added some Glamour Dust to the snowbanks and a few sparkly sequins.  If you're in my local area you can find all the supplies to make this card at The Paper Cottage.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful day!

Hugs, Anita

Playful Pups

Good morning!  I thought I'd share something other than a Christmas card for a change ;-)

This sweet little image is from Mama Elephant's Playful Pups stamp set. There are so many cute puppy images include in this set - I love it!  I colored this pup with copics and cut him out using the coordinating die set.  I used some Glossy Accents on his nose. I used the Stitched Rectangle Die Set from Your Next Stamp to cut the gray dp and I also used a heart die from Spellbinders.  I think this would make a cute Valentine card for someone special!

Thank you so much for stopping by.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

You're The Coolest

Good morning.  I wanted to share a winter card I made a couple of weeks ago but forgot to share on my blog.

This sweet little image is Snowflake and you can find her at CC Designs.  Isn't she adorable?  I think she would make a perfect Christmas card too but I went with a winter theme.  I colored her with copics and colored pencils and then added some Glamour Dust to her hat and her snowflakes.  I used an older die from Impression Obsession to cut the snowflakes and then added a pearl to the center of each snowflake.  A very CAS card but easy to mail!

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Your Next Stamp - December DT Dare

Good morning and welcome to the Your Next Stamp December DT Dare!  This month our dare is to use some of our favorite things.

Well, it was difficult to decide which stamp set to use since most all of them are my favorites, but I chose the new Snow Much Joy clear stamp set and the coordinating die set.  I colored the animals with copics.  I also used the Stitched Rectangle Die Set - if you follow my blog you know how much I LOVE this die set.  I added a sweet little bow using the Bow-tiful Little Bows Die set and then I added a few of the gumdrops
Be sure to stop by the YNS Blog for more inspiration.  Karen gives away a stamp set to one lucky person that leaves a comment!

The Greeting Farm - December Preview

Good morning! Today we have a preview of a special December release by The Greeting Farm!  This release is so sweet and adorable.  This release is perfect for those of you that want to get started on your Valentine cards!

This clear stamp set is called Owl Yours.  There are lots of cute accessories and sentiments included in the stamp set.  A coordinating die set will also be available - perfect for someone like me that really doesn't enjoy fussy cutting!   I colored the owl with copics and then used the die set to cut the owl, hearts, and the sentiment banner.  I thought this owl would look cute perched on a "wire" so I added a piece of twine between the diecut hearts.

Be sure to stop by the TGF Blog to see what the other designers are sharing today! We'll be sharing more designs featuring Owl Yours on December 15 so be sure to stop back.  These stamps and dies will also be available in the TGF Shop on December 15 - so be sure to mark your calendar!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs, Anita

My second card features the sweet Life's A Hoot clear stamp set.  Owls are so popular right now and this set has such cute ones with lots of sentiments for all sorts of different occasions!  I colored the image with copics and then cut it out using the coordinating die set.  Again, I used the Stitched Rectangle Die Set to cut my papers for this card.  I added some Glossy Accents to the birthday balloon and a few of our sweet gumdrops to finish my card.
