Let's Chill

Good morning.  Today I'm sharing a card using an adorable stamp and die set from My Favorite Things.

I used this cute little penguin and palm tree from the Penguins in Paradise stamp set.  I started my card by applying distress inks to a piece of watercolor paper I cut using the Stitched Mini Scallop Rectangle Stax Die-namic.  I colored the images with copics and diecut them with the coordinating die-namics.  I used a black glaze pen on the penguin's eyes.  It's (finally) starting to get hot where I live so I thought this little penguin with the popsicle would be perfect for a card today!

Thank you for stopping by.

Hugs, Anita

The Challenge #88 - Keywords

Good morning!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for our latest challenge over at Always Playing With Paper's The Challenge.

Our challenge this week is a "keyword" challenge and I used the lovely Peony Bouquet stamp set from Altenew.  I started my card by using distress inks to create the blue background and then flicked some water for lighter spots.  I used the Gift Box Cover-Up Die-namic from My Favorite Things to diecut the window.  I adhered some acetate and added sequins to make a fun shaker card.  I used gold embossing powder to stamp the flower and sentiment.  I used distress inks to watercolor the flowers and then diecut them using the coordinating dies.

You can use as many of the keywords to create your card as you like.  I used all of them with the exception of birthday.  Be sure to stop by The Challenge to see what the rest of the DT created this week.  I hope you find some time to play along in the challenge.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs, Anita

Marker Pop Guest Designer

I'm excited to be joining the MarkerPOP design team as a guest designer today.  They have a new challenge so be sure to stop by the MarkerPOP Blog for all the details.

Their challenge theme is Summer Fun ... summer, 4th of July, picnics, camping, ice cream.  Well of course my mind went straight to popsicles, so I decided to use the adorable For You Anya by The Greeting Farm.  I started my card by stamping popsicles on a piece of cardstock and then I colored them with copics.  Then I stamped Anya and colored her with copics too.  Since my background paper seemed a little busy with all the popsicles, I kept the rest of my card clean and simple.

Copics Used:
Skin - E13, E11, E21, E00, E000, R20
Hair - E44, E43, E42, E41, E40
Popsicles - YG17, YG03, YG01, BG09, BG05, BG01, Y38, Y15, Y13, RV55, RV63, RV52, YR18, YR14, YR12, E33, E31

Thank you so much for stopping by!  I hope you have an amazing summer!

Hugs, Anita

The Challenge #87 - Colors

Good morning!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for our latest challenge over at Always Playing With Paper's The Challenge.

Our challenge this week is a color challenge and I used the adorable BB Mermazing stamp set from My Favorite Things.  I started off my using my new Distress Oxide Ink pads in Cracked Pistachio and Broken China to create my background.  I colored the sweet mermaid and rock with copics and fussy cut them.  I used a black glaze pen on the mermaid's eyes and some Glamour Dust on the little starfish in her hair.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Scallop Frame Die-namic to diecut the frame around the scene.  I adhered acetate behind the frame and used some clear sequins to make a shaker card.  This card is on it's way to a special friend that absolutely adores mermaids - I hope she likes it!

Be sure to stop by The Challenge to see what the rest of the DT created this week.  I hope you find some time to play along in the challenge.

The Challenge #86 - Sketch

Good morning!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for our new challenge over at Always Playing With Paper's The Challenge.

I used the cute Kobi The Birthday Bear stamps, colored everything with copics, and then diecut them using the coordinating dies.  I was lucky enough to win this adorable set when Studio Katia had an Instagram giveaway!  There are lots of cute accessory stamps & dies in this set so be sure to stop by the Studio Katia shop and check it out!  The fun dp is from Doodlebug.   I used a black glaze pen on Kobi's eyes and applied Glossy Accents to his nose.  I used my Wink of Stella clear glitter pen on the balloon for some sparkle but it doesn't really show in the photo.

Be sure to stop by The Challenge to see what the rest of the DT created this week.  I hope you find some time to play along in the challenge.

Welcome, Little One

Good morning everyone!  My mojo is still missing and it's been forever since I've posted on this dusty old blog ;)  But I thought I'd pop on here today to share a card I made using stamps and dies from My Favorite Things.

This adorable koala is from the Cuddly Koalas stamp set and I thought it would be perfect for a baby card.  I colored the images with copics and then diecut them using the coordinating die-namics.  I sponged distress inks on a cardstock panel I diecut using the Stitched Basic Edges 2 Die-namics.  I used a black glaze pen on the koalas eyes and Glossy Accents on the nose.  I stamped the sentiment on banner I diecut using the Fishtail Flags Layers Stax Die-namics.  I added a few matte sprinkles to finish my card.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you have a fabulous week!

Hugs, Anita
