Have A Cool Birthday

Good morning friends!  Today I'm sharing a card featuring a sweet stamp set from Reverse Confetti.

These adorable images are from the Ice Cream Social set.  As soon as I saw this stamp set I knew I had to have it!  Such cute images and perfect for making birthday and summer-themed cards, right?  I sponged distress oxide inks onto a piece of Bristol and then diecut some squares using a stitched square die.  I colored the stamped images with copics and diecut them using my Scan N Cut.  I used a black glaze pen on the dog's and bear's eyes and noses and added Wink of Stella Clear Glitter to the popsicle.  I adhered the images with foam tape for dimension.

Copics Used:

Dog - C7, C5, C3, C1; R20, R00
Bear - E31, E30, E50; E55, E53, E51; 100

Hello Summer

Hello everyone!  Today I'm sharing a card that I posted over on The Greeting Farm Blog.

These sweet images are from the Pool Party stamp set that was released earlier this month.  I've already made so many summer cards with this set and I couldn't resist making another one!  I used a stencil to create the waves in the water, and then I sponged on yellow ink for the sky.  I sponged ink onto a piece of Bristol, spattered on brown acrylic paint, diecut the Bristol, and adhered it onto my card to create the sand.  I colored the images with copics and diecut them using my Scan N Cut.  I applied Nuvo Crystal Glaze to their sunglasses and then adhered everything to my card with foam tape.

Copics Used:
Skin - E13, E11, E21, E00, E000, R20
Boy Hair - E47, E25, E23, E21
Girl Hair - E44, E43, E42, E41
Swim Trunks - R37, R17, R14
Swimsuit - BG09, BG05, BG01, B000
Sunglasses - BG15; RV55; C5, C3, C1

Create A Smile Stamps Challenge - Masking

** Scroll down for The Greeting Farm Blog Hop **

Good morning!  We have a new challenge today over on the Create A Smile Stamps Blog.

Our new challenge is "Masking". I used stamps from the Cart Full Of Treasures stamp set.  I stamped the images on my card and also stamped them onto masking paper.  I fussy-cut the masking paper and then applied the masks over the stamped images.  I used distress inks and stencils to sponge grass and clouds over the stamped images.  I removed the masks and colored the stamped images with my copics.  I used a black glaze pen on the koalas' eyes and I applied Nuvo Crystal Glaze to their noses.  I used a white gel pen to add highlights.

I hope you find some time to play along in the challenge.  The winner receives a gift card to the shop!  You can find all the challenge details on the Create A Smile Blog.  If you don't currently own any Create A Smile stamps, you can use a freebie from their blog!

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful day!
