Spring Wishes

Good morning!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  Today I'm sharing a card using a sweet digi from Whimsie Doodles.

I made this card awhile back but forgot to share it on my blog.  I'm ready for this cold weather to disappear so I thought this would be the perfect time to share a spring-themed card!  This little cutie is Garden Lizzie.  I colored her with copics and used Your Next Stamp's Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut all my papers.  I used My Favorite Thing's Fishtail Flags Layers STAX die-namic to cut the sentiment banner.  The sentiment is from SugarPea Designs and I heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  I used a black glaze pen on her eyes and finished my card with a few bright enamel dots.

Thank you so much for stopping by!  Have a great week!

Hugs, Anita

It's Your Day

Today I'm sharing a card using a sweet digi from Whimsie Doodles.

This cute guy is Mr FixIt.  I colored him with copics and used Your Next Stamp's Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut all my papers.  I used My Favorite Thing's Stitched Sentiment Strips die-namic for the sentiment.  I used a metal brad to attach the sentiment ... wow, it's been forever since I've used a brad on a card!  I used a black glaze pen on the boy's eyes and overall snaps.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hugs, Anita

Whimsie Doodles Healing Bear

Good evening everyone!  I just wanted to pop on quickly to post a card I made for a friend who's been feeling a little under the weather.

This cute little bear is Healing Bear from Whimsie Doodles.  Isn't he adorable with his stuffing popping out?  Obviously he's a well-loved bear, right?  I colored him with copics and colored pencils and used Glossy Accents on his button eyes.  I used some cotton for the stuffing and added a few buttons.  Be sure to check out the digi image in the shop because he comes with two sentiments and some cute Band-Aid digis too.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs, Anita

Warmest Wishes

Happy Friday everyone!  Our weather here has been extremely cold and yesterday we got lots of snow.  It's so pretty to look out the window and see the fresh snow on all the pine trees and the ground.  But along with that snow came some very high winds, which made it feel even colder.  And I think they're calling for our temps to drop even lower so I guess I will just have to hibernate lol!  I don't like cold weather but I do love snowmen and that's what I'm sharing today.

This adorable snowman is Snowman Snapshot and he's a freebie over at Whimsie Doodles.  That's right ... he's free!  While you're over there be sure to check out all the digi stamps Melyssa has available.  I'm telling you right now that they are totally adorable so don't blame me if you end up doing some major shopping while you're there :)  Anyway, I colored this cute snowman with copics and used Glossy Accents on his nose and coal buttons.  I added some Glamour Dust to the white snowflakes.  I used an Impression Obsession die for the blue snowflakes and then added some pearls.  The sentiment is from the CC Designs AmyR Freezin' Season stamp set.

Thank you for stopping by.  I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

Hugs, Anita

Snowflake Lizzie

Hello sweet friends.  Today is my last project as November's Guest Artist for Whimsie Doodles.  I want to thank the WD team for letting me join them for the past few weeks.  And thanks also to Melyssa for designing such cute and adorable images - they were a blast to play with :-D

Today's card features Snowflake Lizzie and I fell in love with her the minute I saw her!  In case you haven't noticed, I love snowflakes and snowmen.  Well, I don't love them IRL cause they're cold and I don't like cold weather (which is a problem since I love in Ohio lol).  But I do love them on cards ... and I do love to make them sparkle!  I colored Lizzie with copics and colored pencils and then loaded her wings and snowflake with Glamour Dust.  I added a bow and then tied on a silver bell with some floss.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hugs, Anita

Holiday Celebration

Happy Thursday sweet friends.  Whimsie Doodles has a new challenge today and as their guest artist this month I get to play along with their team!

Their theme for this challenge is Holiday Celebration and I have used this sweet image, Big Gift, on my card.  Isn't she just the cutest little girl?  I colored her with copics and colored pencils and used Glamour Dust on the gift bow.  I applied Liquid Applique to the furry parts of her hat.  I added a doily, bow, and a pretty silver bell to my card.  The sentiment is from the Merry & Bright set by My Favorite Things.

Be sure to stop by the Whimsie Doodles Blog to see what the team created and to find out all the challenge details!

Thanks for stopping by.

Hello sweet friends and happy Monday!  A really quick post from me as I have lots of errands to run today.

I have an adorable little girl to share with you today.  This sweetie is Apple Lizzie by Whimsie Doodles.  Don't you just love all that hair and her cute little school outfit?  She's colored with copics and colored pencils and I used a black glaze pen on her jacket buttons.  The sentiment is from the CC Designs School Logos set.  The paperclip was cut with an old QuicKutz die and then I added a few buttons.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a great day!

You Can Count On Me

Happy Tuesday!  I have a project to share today using Creative Inspirations Paint.

This little girl is Lollipop Girl by Whimsie Doodles.  Isn't she adorable?  As soon as I saw her I knew I had to have her ... and the sentiment comes with the image.  And really, don't the two just go together perfectly lol?  She's colored with copics and colored pencils.  I used Creative Inspirations paints to give some shimmer to the colors.  These paints are thick and creamy and they dry so quickly.  You don't have to worry about smudging them like you do when you use Stickles.  I used the color Tutu Pink on the lollipop and little heart on her dress, Plum on the button, and Fairy Dust on the dress ruffle.  I cut her out and popped her up on dimensionals and added a few buttons to finish my card.

Creative Inspirations Paint also has a weekly challenge and you can find all the details here

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!

Hugs, Anita
