Create A Smile Stamps Challenge - Mood Board

Good morning!  We have a new challenge today over on the Create A Smile Stamps Blog.

Our new challenge is a mood board and I hope you play along.  This is also my last challenge with the Challenge Team as my term is ending.  But be sure to join in the future challenges along with the new team!  I used the From My Nest stamp set for my card today.  I stamped the winter birds, colored them with copics, and cut them with my Scan N Cut.  I diecut a snow slope and inked along the top with distress inks.  I also added some Glamour Dust to give the appearance of icy snow.  I diecut a stitched rectangle and stenciled clouds using distress oxide ink. I adhered the snow slope and winter birds using foam tape for dimension.

Create A Smile Stamps Challenge - Sketch

Good morning!  We have a new challenge today over on the Create A Smile Stamps Blog.

Our new challenge is a sketch so I hope you play along.  I used the From My Nest stamp set for my card today.  I stamped the winter bird, colored it with copics, and fussy-cut her.  I diecut a snowy slope and inked it with distress inks.  I also inked some Bristol card to create the winter sky.  I spattered some clean water and thinned acrylic paint to make it appear as though it's snowing.  I used a white gel pen to add polka dots to the scarf and I also added a few clear sequins to give my card some sparkle.

Create A Smile Stamps Challenge - Mood Board

Good morning!  We have a new challenge today over on the Create A Smile Stamps Blog.

Our new challenge is a mood board so there's lots of room for your own interpretation!   I used the Doctor's Helpers stamp set for my card today.  I stamped the image on a diecut circle and colored it with copics.  I used the Cool Cuts Postage Edge Circles to cut a circle from brown cardstock and then I adhered the colored image to the diecut circle.  I stenciled the front of my card using the Diagonal Grid Stencil and then I adhered the stamped image to my card.

Create A Smile Challenge - Sketch

Good morning!  We have a new challenge today over on the Create A Smile Stamps Blog.

Our new challenge is a sketch challenge and it's super easy!  I stamped images from the To The Moon stamp set, used my ScanNCut to cut them, and colored them with copics.  I used Nuvo Crystal Glaze over the astronaut's mask to make it shine.  I sponged Chipped Sapphire onto Bristol card and spattered white acrylic paint that I thinned with water.  I adhered the planets and then placed a circle frame over them using foam tape for dimension.  I added the sentiment and astronaut and that finished my card.

Create A Smile Challenge - Mood Board

Good morning!  We have a new challenge today over on the Create A Smile Stamps Blog.

Our new challenge is a mood board so there's lots of room for your own personal interpretation!  I used VersaMark ink to stamp images from the Floral Decorations stamp set onto a strip of Bristol card and then I heat-embossed them with white embossing powder.  I sponged Peacock Feathers and Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide Inks over the flowers, then wiped the ink off the embossed florals with a clean cloth.  I used the Cool Cuts Postage Edge Circles to cut a piece of vellum, which I adhered over the embossed florals.  I used the Cool Cuts Hello Twice die to cut the sentiment;  I cut two from white cardstock and one from Bristol that I had sponged with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink.  I glued all the sentiments together so it would add some dimension to my card.   I added a few clear embellishments and that finished off my card!

Create A Smile Challenge - Sketch

Good morning!  We have a new challenge today over on the Create A Smile Stamps Blog.

Our new challenge is a sketch challenge and it's an easy-peasy one!  I stamped the adorable fox and snowman from the Cool Buddies stamp set and used my ScanNCut to cut them out.  I colored them with copics and then used a black glaze pen on their eyes.  I diecut a stitched rectangle from watercolor paper and I diecut a small snowy slope from white cardstock.  I applied some Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet Distress Inks onto a piece of plastic and spritzed it with water, then I layed the stitched rectangle onto the wet ink and smooshed it around.  I stamped the sentiment directly onto my card and then adhered the watercolor panel (once it was dry) with foam tape.  I sponged the top of the snow slope and adhered it to the panel. I used foam tape to adhere the fox and snowman and I added a few sequins for some sparkle.
