Have A Sweet Christmas!

Good morning friends!  Today I'm sharing a clean and simple Christmas card featuring a stamp from the Streamside Studios Etsy shop!

These sweet images and sentiment are from the Sweet Christmas stamp set.  I adhered some Doodlebug Designs Christmas pattern paper to my card front.  I diecut an oval from white cardstock and sponged it with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink.  I diecut an oval from brown cardstock, matted it behind the white oval, and adhered it to my card.  I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder and adhered it with foam tape.  I stamped the images on Neenah cardstock, colored them with copics, and fussy cut them.  I used a black gel pen on the gingerbread buttons and added some highlights with a white gel pen.  I adhered the images with foam tape to finish my card.

Copics:
Gingerbread - E31, E30, E50; R20; BV20, BG70; R05; YG17, YG03, YG01
Candy Canes - R37, R35, R32; BV20, BG70

It's Penguining To Look A Lot Like Christmas

Good morning crafty friends!  Today I'm sharing a Christmas card I made for the My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge.

I diecut a stitched rectangle from bristol card, sponged it with Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Ink, and spattered it with white gouache.  Once dry, I adhered the panel to my card.  I stamped one of the adorable penguins from the It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas stamp set and diecut it using the coordinating dienamics.  I colored the penguin with copics and used a black gel pen on the eyes.  I added Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the penguin's beak and feet,  spattered the image with white gouache, and adhered the penguin to my card.  I added a diecut snowflake with foam tape and then glued a white pearl to the center of the snowflake.

Copics:

Penguin - C7, C5, C3; YR07, YR04, Y38; BV20, BG70; R20, R00

Hat/Scarf - R39, R37, R35; BG18, BG57, BG53; BV20, BG70

Snowy Friends

Happy Friday friends!  I'm sharing a fun Christmas card today featuring some sweet little snowmen from the LTTS Doodles Etsy Shop!

These adorable snowmen are from the Snowy Friends digital stamp set.  I diecut a panel of bristol card and inked it with distress oxide inks.  I spattered it with white paint and set it aside to dry.  I used an older die from The Greeting Farm to diecut the "Santa Baby" sentiment.  I diecut one sentiment from silver sparkle cardstock and two sentiments from white cardstock and glued the layers together to give the sentiment some dimension.  The sentiment is really pretty but doesn't seem to sparkle much in the photo.  I also diecut some silver stars and adhered the sentiment and stars to the card.  I colored the snowmen with copics, fussy cut them, and adhered them with foam tape.  I used a black gel pen on their eyes and I added some highlights with a white gel pen.

Copics:

Snowmen - BV20, BG70; R20, R00; YR04

Toboggan - YG17, YG03, YG01; B28, B26, B24, B21; BV20, BG70

Candy Cane - BV20, BG70; R29, R27, R24

Earmuffs - B28, B26, B24, B21; C7, C5, C3
