Bring On The Snow

Good morning everyone!  Today I'm sharing a card featuring one of the newer stamp sets from Paperie Ink.

These cute wintery images are from the Ski On stamp set.  Although we weren't skiing on Christmas Day we certainly had lots of snow falling and these two critters would have been right at home!  The night sky is a piece of pattern paper that I also spattered with white acrylic paint.  I diecut two snow slopes and inked the top edges with distress ink.  I colored all the images with copics and spattered everything with lots of acrylic paint.  I used a black glaze pen on their eyes and noses.  There are lots of other adorable critters included in this stamp set so stop by the shop and check it out!

Copics Used:

Fox - E08, E15, E13, E11; E02, E00; C3, C1, 100

Wishing You A Sweet Holiday Season

Good morning everyone!  Today I'm sharing a slimline card featuring one of the new stamp sets from Paperie Ink.

Don't you just love penguins?  I do!  These adorable penguins are from the Kebin The Penguin stamp set.  There are so many cuties in this set that are perfect for your Christmas and winter cards.  Actually, you could use these penguins year round!  The trees are from the Snow Good stamps and the sentiment is from the Sweet Christmas set.

I made a slimline card that measures 3.5" x 8.5".  I cut a piece of white cardstock 7" x 8.5" and folded it in half to create my card base.  Next I applied distress inks to a piece of bristol card.  I spattered the bristol with water and once dry adhered it to my card base.  I cut two snow slopes and adhered them to my card.  I colored all the penguins and trees with copics.  I used a black glaze pen on the penguin eyes and I added some highlights with a white gel pen.  I added Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the penguin beaks and feet and to the star and ornaments of the first penguin.  I adhered the images with foam tape and then spattered my card with white watercolor paint.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a beautiful week!

It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year

Good morning everyone!  Today I'm sharing a slimline card featuring stamps from Paperie Ink.

I used stamps from three different sets to make today's card.  The Christmas tree is from Like Christmas, the bunnies are from Happy Holi-yay, and the sentiment is from So Merry.  I diecut a slimline rectangle from bristol card and inked it with Peacock Feathers, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot Distress Oxide Inks.

I diecut some snow slopes and inked the edges with Peacock Feathers also.  I colored all the images with copics and fussy-cut them.  I used a black glaze pen on the bunny's eye and added some details to the bunny scarves using a white gel pen.  I used a Wink of Stella clear glitter pen on the bow and added Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the tree lights.  I adhered the snow slopes and the images with foam tape for added dimension.  I added a few clear sequins to give my card some sparkle.

Copics Used:

Bunnies - E55, E53, E51, E50; R20, R00
