Berry Happy We're Friends

Good morning friends!  Today I'm sharing another clean and simple card using one of the new releases from the Streamside Studios Etsy Shop.

These images are from the Berry Sweet Mice clear stamp.  They're also available as a digi if you prefer working with those.  I cut my card base 3.5" x 6.25" and inked it with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink.  I diecut a frame from red cardstock and adhered it to my card with foam tape.  I colored the image with copics and adhered it with foam tape.  I stamped one of the sentiments from the stamp set and then added a few clear bubbles to my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Have A Sunshiny Day

Good morning friends!  Today I'm sharing a fun summer card using a stamp from a new-to-me company, Ink N' Splatter.

This cute pup is from one of their new releases, Summertime Pups.  I stamped the image on Neenah cardstock, colored it with copics, and fussy-cut it.  I used a white gel pen to add polka-dots to her dress and I added Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the glass in her hand and her sunglasses.  I diecut a stitched rectangle and used stencils to create the grass and clouds.  I stamped one of the cute sentiments from the set and adhered the pup with foam tape.

Copics Used:

Pup - E31, E30, E50; R20

Dress - R22, R20, R00

Chair - BG13, BG11, BG10; C3, C1, C0

Drink - YG17, YG13, YG11

I'm entering my card in their July challenges on Facebook and Instagram.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a great day!

Berry Happy Birthday To You

Good morning crafty friends!  Today I'm sharing a card featuring one of the new releases in the Streamside Studios Etsy Shop!

This sweet little mouse is from the Berry Sweet Mice clear stamp set.  There are lots of mice and berry images in this set, along with tons of sentiments.  If you prefer working with digital images, you can also find this set in digital format.

I diecut a stitched rectangle from white cardstock and inked it with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks.  I spattered it with water and attached it to my card base.  I stamped on of the sentiments beneath the inked area.  I stamped the mouse on Neenah cardstock, ran it through my Scan N Cut, and colored it with copics.  I adhered the mouse holding the strawberry with foam tape.

Copics:
Mice - C1, C0, C00; R20; E01, E000
Strawberry - R29, R27, R24, R22; YG17, YG03, YG01

It's Penguining To Look A Lot Like Christmas

Good morning friends!  I hope you had a fun weekend!  I found some time to work on a card for a sketch challenge.

This sweet penguin is from the It's Penguining To Look A Lot Like Christmas stamp set.  I stamped the image and used the coordinating die-namic to diecut it.  I followed the sketch that's over on the MFT Blog, MFTWSC654.  I cut a square panel white cardstock and inked it with Peacock Feathers and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Inks.  I splattered the square with white gouache and matted it to dark blue cardstock.  I cut the scalloped rectangle using an older MFT blueprints die-namic and adhered it to my dark blue card base.  I stamped one of the sentiments from the stamp set below the square.  I colored the image with copics and used both a black and white gel pen to add the penguin's eyes and highlights.  I adhered the penguin to my card with foam tape.

I'm also entering my card in the MFT Ready, Set Christmas! Challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
