Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop

Welcome to the Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop!  If you are looking for some inspiration for Christmas cards, you have come to the right place.  Our team has decided to do a monthly Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop! We will be sharing Christmas creations on the 25th of each month.

The whole idea is to have some Christmas cards and projects in our stash all ready to go for December 2018!

I used the adorable Love Cynthia stamp set called Happy Holidays.  I stamped the image on Neenah cardstock, colored her with copics, and then fussy cut the image.  I cut a strip of Bristol card and stamped snowflakes using the Flurries stamp set from Pink & Main.  I heat embossed the snowflakes with WOW gold embossing powder.  Next, I sponged Peacock Feather Distress Oxide ink over the Bristol and flicked on some water spots.  I used foam tape to place the little snowgirl onto a vellum circle and then adhered her to my cardbase.  I added a few gold sequins for some extra sparkle.   I used a black glaze pen on the girl's eyes, and on the snowman's eyes and buttons.

Copics Used:
Skin - E13, E11, E21, E00, E000, R20
Hair - E44, E43, E42, E41
Snow Outfit - C3, C1, R20, R00, YR04
Hat - R59, R37, R35, R24
Scarf - BG09, BG05, BG01
Branches - E25, E23, E21
Shoes - N8, N6

Please hop along and be sure to visit each of the blogs.  There's lots of inspiration and ideas to get your creative juices flowing!

Stamptember with The Greeting Farm

Hello everyone!  Today I'm sharing a stamp set that was created exclusively for the Stamptember collaboration with Simon Says Stamp

These sweet images are from the Winter Is Here stamp set.  I colored everything with copics and then cut them out.  I added some Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the star and lights on the Christmas tree and I used a black glaze pen on the little boy's jacket.  I diecut the snowbank and then used a stencil to add some layers of snow with distress inks.  I also used distress inks to create the night sky, and then added flicks of white paint to create a light snowfall.

These stamps and dies will only be available while supplies last.  Once they're gone they won't be restocked so hurry over to Simon Says Stamp to order yours now.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Sunny Studio Stamps - Fall Kiddos

Hello everyone!  I did some guest designing for Sunny Studio Stamps last month, using the adorable Fall Kiddos Stamps and dies.  I had my post written and thought it was scheduled to post while I was away on vacation.  I'm not sure what I did wrong but it never posted and I just realized I had never shared my cards on here.  So, better late than never lol!

I colored all the images with copics and then diecut them using the coordinating Fall Kiddos Dies.  The diagonal-striped paper is from the Dots & Stripes Jewel Tones 6x6 paper pad - I love the colors and patterns in this collection!  I diecut a piece of Bristol card and applied distress oxide inks in Spiced Marmalade and Fossilized Amber.  I adhered the images and the sentiment tag with foam tape.

I used a piece of diagonal-striped paper from the Dots & Stripes Jewel Tones 6x6 paper pad on this card also.  I diecut a rectangle of Bristol and sponged various distress inks to create a background of fall colors.  I colored all the images with copics and then diecut them using the coordinating dies.  I added white polka-dots to the girl's dress with a white gel pen.  I adhered the images with foam tape and added a few enamel dots to finish my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have an amazing week!

Hugs, Anita

It’s the 15th, and that means the 4 new SEPTEMBER Stamps are NOW available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store! Our first set, COZY FOR YOU will give you warm, fuzzy feelings, and remind you of things that make the holidays special. Our second set called BREW IT ANYA features a big Anya holding some coffee, and it looks like you all love her a latte. The next set, TRICK OR TREAT 2, is perfect for Halloween and would make awesome birthday cards! And, the last big Anya set called SMILE ANYA just oozes happiness.

I used the Cozy With You stamp set and coordinating dies for today's card.  I colored the images with copics and then used the coordinating dies to diecut the images.  I sponged Cracked Pistachio distress ink on Bristol card, splattered it with water droplets, and then dried them with a paper towel.  I adhered the adorable Christmas images with foam tape.
