Adorable Elephant

Good morning and happy Friday!  This has been a very long week and stressful week so I am so glad to see the weekend roll around ;)

I used the BB Adorable Elephants to make today's card.  I fell in love with this stamp set as soon as I saw it and I've made quite a few cards with it so you'll be seeing more of these pop up on my blog.  I colored everything with copics and then cut the elephant and balloons out with the coordinating dies.  I used some bright papers from Doodlebug Design and kept my card very cas.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

Hugs, Anita

Warm Wishes

Good morning everyone!  We've been having some really cold weather where I live so I thought today's card was perfect!

I used the sweet BB Toasty Greetings from My Favorite Things.  I love this stamp set - the images are just so cute and of course I absolutely adore snowmen anyway!  I colored everything with copics and then cut them out with the coordinating dies.  I used my Wink of Stella clear glitter pen on the fire to give it some shimmer.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Die set from Your Next Stamp to cut my white cardstock and I used the Stitched Hillside Borders dies from Lawn Fawn for the snow bank.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a warm and wonderful day.

Hugs, Anita

SugarPea Designs - I Dig You!

Good morning!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for an inspiration post on the SugarPea Designs Blog

I've been trying to get some Valentine cards made so I thought I would use this cute little gopher from the Go-pher It clear stamp set.  It's been awhile since I've used this set so I thought it was time for this fella to see some ink!  I colored him with copics and then used some Glamour Dust on his diamonds.  Wow, I hope hubby gives me some of those "rocks" for V Day this year lol!  The sentiment tag was cut using the new SugarCuts - Stitched Flags die.  I've also added a few enamel dots.

Be sure to stop by the SugarPea Designs Blog for even more inspiration from the DT.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

The Challenge #58 - Masculine Inspiration

Good morning everyone!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  Today I'm sharing a card I made for the new challenge over at Always Playing With Paper's The Challenge.

The challenge this week is a masculine inspiration challenge.  So if you know me then you know I really struggle with masculine cards for men.  I find it so much easier to make cards for younger boys so that's what I made this week.  When I saw the inspiration photo I knew I had the perfect stamp/die for my card.  I used the adorable Here We Go stamps and coordinating confetti cuts dies from Reverse Confetti.  I used some bright papers from Echo Park and also added some enamel dots.

Be sure to stop by The Challenge to see the fabulous projects by the rest of the DT!  I hope you find some time to play along with us!

Further inspiration came from the above sketch so I would like to enter my card in the Reverse Confetti Sketch For You To Try #32

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful week!

Hugs, Anita

Your Next Stamp - January Feature Day

Good morning!  Today is Feature Day over on the Your Next Stamp Blog, which means that the team is sharing some new samples featuring the YNS stamps and dies.  Our theme this month is a "with love" and with Valentine's Day just around the corner it's a perfect theme, right?

I pulled out my adorable Love and Smiles clear stamp set for my card.  I love the sweet images in this set.  They're perfect for Valentine cards, love cards or just a card to let someone know you care!  I colored the puppy with copics and then cut him out using the Love and Smiles Die Set.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Die Set to cut some white cardstock and then I used the Heart Ink Splatter stamp with some pink ink to apply hearts to the background.  The sentiment is from the Puppy Love clear stamp set.  Then I added a few pretty Cupid Gumdrops to my card.

Be sure to stop by the Your Next Stamp Blog to see what the rest of the DT is sharing today.  If you leave a comment on the YNS Blog you may be the lucky winner of a stamp set of your choice!

Your Next Stamp - January DT Dare

Good morning and welcome to the Your Next Stamp January DT Dare!  This month our dare is to use something old and something new.

I finally got a set of the Kuretake Gamsai Tambi watercolors so I decided to give them a try.   I used these cute frogs from the Froggie Love clear stamp set and colored them with my watercolors.  I obviously need lots more practice  but I think they turned out OK for my first try.  I cut out the frogs with the coordinating die set.  Once again I used the Stitched Rectangle Die Set to cut my cardstock and pattern paper.  That scrap of paper is my old item.  It's from Doodlebug Design and I love the colors so I saved every little piece of that bright paper!  I added a few sparkly gumdrops to my card.

Be sure to stop by the YNS Blog for more inspiration.  Karen gives away a stamp set to one lucky person that leaves a comment!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs, Anita

SugarPea Designs - Special Delivery

Good morning friends!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for an inspiration post on the SugarPea Designs Blog

I used the sweet penguin from the Happy Mail clear stamp set.  A perfect image for a cute Valentine card, right?  I colored the penguin with copics, fussy cut the image and then added some Glossy Accents to the beak and feet.  For some reason I always think of doilies when I'm making Valentine cards so I placed one behind the penguin.  The sentiment tag was cut using the new SugarCuts - Stitched Flags die and then I added a few enamel dots.

Be sure to stop by the SugarPea Designs Blog for even more inspiration from the DT.

Your Next Stamp - January Release and Blog Hop

Good evening everyone!  I'm so happy you stopped by for the Your Next Stamp January release blog hop!  We have lots of fun stamps and dies for you this month and I've had so much fun playing with them - I know you're going to love them too!  The entire release is available now in the YNS Store.

Make sure you hop around to all of the blogs featured in the link list located at the bottom of this post for inspiration using the new products!  Also remember to leave a comment on all of the blogs for a chance to win a $25.00 YNS Gift Certificate!

For my first card I used Froggie Love.  This set has the cutest little froggies and sentiments that are perfect for making Valentine cards for your family and friends!  I colored the frog with copics and then cut her out using the coordinating die set.  I cut my dp with the Stitched Rectangle Die.  I also used the Circles Die Set and the Circles - Stitching Marks Die Set.  I used my Wink of Stella Clear Glitter pen on her crown and Glossy Accents on her lips ... and don't you just love those lips?!!!   I also made a matching treat bag with the new Little Shopping Bag Die.  This makes the cutest little bag and it's perfect for a small treat or gift!

My second card features the So Stinkin' Cute clear stamp set.  You've got to love the thought of sending a little stinker to a friend or loved one for Valentines, right?  But this stamp set also includes sentiments that can be used year-round.  I colored the image with copics and then cut it out using the coordinating die set.  Again, I used the Stitched Rectangle Die Set to cut my papers for this card.  I used the new Open Heart Scallop Die to add some trim to my card and then applied Glossy Accents to the skunk's nose.  I scattered the tiny hearts from the Open Heart Scallop die on my card and then glued them down.

Karen is offering 20% off your entire purchase from January 16th through January 23rd!  Be sure to stop back by the YNS Blog on January 20th for even more inspiration with the new release stamps and dies!

Thank you for hopping along with us!  Don't forget to leave a comment at each stop.  The hop ends January 19th at 12 Midnight EST.
