The Challenge #62 - Masculine Inspiration

Good morning, I hope you had an enjoyable weekend.   Today I'm sharing a card I made for the new challenge over at Always Playing With Paper's The Challenge.  Each week we have a different type of challenge and this week it's a masculine inspiration challenge.  I hope you find some time to play along with us!

I used a Reverse Confetti die for my card today.  The cute airplane is from their Here We Go Confetti Cuts set.  No coloring on this card so it was a very quick and easy card.  I used my Stitched Rectangle Dies from Your Next Stamp to cut my papers and then added some twine and a button to finish my card.  Be sure to stop by The Challenge to see the fabulous projects by the rest of the DT!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

The Challenge #61 - Inspiration

Good morning, I hope you had an enjoyable weekend.  We had some beautiful weather here - lots of sunshine and warm temperatures!  I'm really hoping spring will be here soon.  Well, since I'm pretty sure you didn't stop by for a weather report, let's get to the card I made for our new challenge over at Always Playing With Paper's The Challenge.

Our challenge this week is an inspiration challenge - a beautiful vintage picture, right?  Unfortunately I'm not very good at vintage :-(    I used the Stitched Rectangle Die to cut my gray paper and then I used the Whatknot Sentiments Set Three to stamp the sentiment on some pretty gingham paper.  I punched my flowers with an older punch that I have and added some little pearls to their centers.  I cut the greenery with a flourish die.

Be sure to stop by The Challenge to see the fabulous projects by the rest of the DT!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs, Anita

Your Next Stamp - February Feature Day

Good morning!  Today is Feature Day over on the Your Next Stamp Blog, which means that the team is sharing new samples featuring the YNS stamps and dies.  Our theme this month is a "coffee, tea - you and me".

I decided to use the sweet Sprinkles - Coffee and Tea clear stamp set for my card.  I'm a big fan of the Sprinkles bunny character and I hadn't used this set in a while so I decided to give it some inky love!  I colored the image with copics and then cut it out using the coordinating die.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Die Set to cut the dotted paper added a few pretty sparkly gumdrops to my card.

Be sure to stop by the Your Next Stamp Blog to see what the rest of the DT is sharing today.  If you leave a comment on the YNS Blog you may be the lucky winner of a stamp set of your choice!

Good afternoon everyone!  I've got some fun cards featuring Sunny Studio Stamps to share today.  I was so excited when Mendi, the owner of Sunny Studio Stamps, asked me to be a guest designer using her adorable stamps!

Good morning and happy hump day!  I have another sweet Easter card to share today.

I used this cute little chickie from Pink and Main's Easter Peeps stamp set.  There are lots of adorable chick images and fun sentiments in this set so be sure to hop over and check it out.  I colored everything with copics and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut my papers and then added a few sequins.  The cute egg paper is from the For Peep's Sake collection from Taylored Expressions.  I love the cute patterns and bright colors in this collection!  If you live in my area you can find all the supplies for this card at The Paper Cottage.

The Challenge #60 - Color Challenge

Good morning!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend and a sweet Valentines Day!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for the new challenge over at Always Playing With Paper's The Challenge.  Each week we have a different type of challenge and this week it's a color challenge.  I hope you find some time to play along with us!

I used a cute Whipper Snapper stamp for my card today.  I've had this sweet image forever but this is the first time I've inked it up.  I've got so many stamps that I've never used but yet I keep buying more ... I know I'm not the only one guilty of this, right?  Anyway, I colored this cutie with copics and applied Glossy Accents to his nose.  I used my Stitched Rectangle Dies from Your Next Stamp to cut my papers and then added a few enamel dots to finish my card.  The sentiment is from a My Favorite Things stamp set.

This sweet pup is from Mama Elephant's Playful Pups stamp set.  There are lots of cute puppies in this set along with some great sentiments.  I colored him with copics and then cut him out using the coordinating die.  I simply used a scrap of dp from my stash and then added some enamel dots.  I also used some Glossy Accents on his nose.  A very CAS card using minimal supplies.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

You're One Of My Favorite Peeps

Good morning!  I know it may seem a little early to be sharing Easter cards but Easter comes early this year (March 27) so it will be here before we know it, right?

My favorite local store, The Paper Cottage, recently started carrying stamps by Pink and Main.  If you're not familiar with this company be sure to stop by and check them out.  They've got some really cute stamp sets!  I used the Easter Peeps stamp set for my card today.  I colored everything with copics and then diecut them using the coordinating dies.  I added some Glossy Accents to the chickie's beak and Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen to the butterfly and eggs.  I also used the Stitched Rectangle and Scallop Edge dies from Your Next Stamp and added a few sparkly sequins.

If you are local, you can find all the supplies for this card at The Paper Cottage.  The challenge this month over on the Pink and Main Blog is a love theme so I'm entering my card in their challenge.  I might be stretching it a bit but I think "a favorite peep" would fit the love theme, right?

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great day!

Hugs, Anita

For my first card I used Sprinkles Sugar Rush.  Isn't this bunny adorable?  I used the Stitched Rectangle Die set to cut a piece of watercolor paper and then added some water and Picked Raspberry distress ink.  I colored the bunny with copics and then cut her out using the coordinating die set.  I used the Bow-tiful Little Bows Die set to make the little blue bow.  I added some Glossy Accents to the bunny's nose and tongue and then applied my Wink of Stella Clear Glitter pen to the lollipop.  I also used some sparkly gumdrops on my card.

My second card features the Coffee Break clear stamp set.  An adorable set that combines coffee and some of our favorite animals!  There are tons of sentiments included in this set!  I colored the image with copics and then cut it out using the coordinating die set.  Again, I used the Stitched Rectangle Die Set to cut the flowered paper and I used the new Doily Trio Die set to cut the brown doily behind the pup.  I paper-pieced the coffee mug and then added some Glossy Accents to the pup's nose.

Karen is offering 20% off your entire purchase from February 6th through February 12th!  Be sure to stop back by the YNS Blog on February 10th for even more inspiration with the new release stamps and dies!
