You're A Cool Friend

Hello friends!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 59.

The challenge is to make something see-through so I decided to make a fun shaker card!  I used images from the Making Frosty FriendsJoy To The Woods, and Snow Day stamp sets.  I colored all the images with copics, diecut them using the coordinating die sets, and used a black glaze pen on all the eyes.  I used one of the dies from the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackable set to cut the frame for my shaker card.  I used the Stitched Hillside Borders dies to cut the snowbanks  and I used Mittens Remix dp for the background of my card.  I adhered the trees, birdhouse, bunny, and back snowbank directly to my card using glue.  I adhered the front snowbank using foam tape.  I adhered plastic to the back of my frame, added the sequins, and then adhered the frame with foam tape.  I glued the snowman and little bird onto the front of my card.

Copics Used:
Snowman- BV20, BG70; YR07, YR04, YR00
Bunny - C3, C1, R02, R00
Bird - E33, E31, E30
Birdhouse - E33, E31, E30; N8, N6; R46
Scarves/Hats - R59, R37, R35; BG18,BG57, BG53

Let's Shell-ebrate

Hello friends!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for the My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge.

I love the adorable mermaids in the Mermaid For Each Other stamp set!  I followed the MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #451 for my design.  I sponged distress inks onto a panel of Bristol card and then cut the panel into four equal pieces, which I adhered to the front of my card.  I colored the sweet mermaid and other images with copics and then diecut them.  I used Nuvo Crystal Glaze on her sunglasses and to add some water bubbles.  I used a white gel pen to add a few highlights.  I adhered the images with foam tape for dimension.

Copics Used:
Skin - E04, E13, E11, E21, E00, E000, R20

Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop

Welcome to the Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop!  If you are looking for some inspiration for Christmas cards, you have come to the right place.  Our team does a monthly Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop! We will be sharing Christmas creations on the 25th of each month.

The whole idea is to have some Christmas cards and projects in our stash all ready to go for December 2019!

I used the Season's Tweetings stamp set by My Favorite Things.  This stamp has been retired but there are lots of other sweet Christmas images in their shop.  I stamped the little girl and bird on Neenah cardstock, colored them with copics, and then diecut them using the coordinating dies.  I used a black glaze pen on the girl's and bird's eyes and added some highlights using a white gel pen.  I diecut a watercolor panel using a stitched rectangle die .  I mixed water and distress inks and used a paintbrush to paint the ink onto the watercolor panel.  I cut a snowbank from watercolor paper, sponged distress ink along the top, and stamped my sentiment on the snowbank.    I adhered all the images with foam tape for dimension and then added a few sequins for some sparkle.

Copics Used:
Skin - E13, E11, E21, E00, E000, R20
Hair - E27, E23
Coat and Hat - R59, R37, R35, R32
Scarf and Hat - E44, E43, E42, E41
Boots - E47, E44, E43, E42, E41, E40
Bird - E33, E31, E30; R29, R24, R22; Y18
