Sneak Peeks at The Greeting Farm

Hello everyone!  I have another preview to share with you today from the November release at The Greeting Farm.  So let's have a lookie at this new fella ...

James

Woohoo - what a hottie, right?  I love this guy and he was so much fun to color, especially his hair!  I always have a hard time trying to figure out how to embellish male cards so I kept these pretty simple.  I made the second card several days after I finished the first card and didn't realize I had used the same sentiment until I was taking the pictures.  But that's OK cause he does ROCK!

Be sure to check out The Greeting Farm Blog to see how you can win this stamp.  You also need to check out my teamies' blogs for more inspiration with James:

You Devilish Darlin'

Hello friends.  I made a treat box to give to a very sweet friend for Halloween.  I haven't given it to her yet so I hope she doesn't see it on my blog.

This darling devil is CC Designs Devilish Lucy.  Pretty cute little devil, don't you think?  I started with a small wood box that I picked up ages ago at Hobby Lobby.  I painted it with purple acrylic paint and then wrapped some Graphic 45 paper around it.  Lucy is colored with copics and colored pencils and I used some StarDust Stickles on the heart on her dress.  The sentiment is from the Halloween Sentiments set and I inked the edges after cutting it out.  The spider is from the Halloween Logos set.  I added a seam binding bow to the box and then used some black floss to tie on the spider logo.  Let's hope there's still some candy in the box when I give it to her :-D

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day!

Have A Be-Witching Good Time

Happy Friday sweet friends.  We've finally made it to the weekend ... yeah!  For those of you that know me, you know that I love Halloween ;)  I love making Halloween cards and I love decorating my house and yard for it too.  October 31 also happens to be my daughter's birthday so it's one of my favorite days of the year.

I thought I would make my daughter's birthday card with a Halloween theme this year so I chose this beautiful image called Witches Cauldren.  Isn't this one of the prettiest witches you've ever seen?  No long, ugly nose and warts for this chick lol!  She's colored with copics and colored pencils and I used a black glaze pen on her buttons.  There's a bit of Star Dust Stickles on the heart on her hat but it doesn't really show up in this picture.  I used some cheesecloth behind the image and inked the edges of my papers.  I added some twine and a little charm.  The sentiment is from CC Designs Halloween Sentiments set and I thought it was perfect for this image.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoy your weekend!

A Little Beebug

Hello crafty friends.  I hope you had a fabulous weekend.  It's been a few days since I shared a new card but I do have one to show you today.

This cute little image is called Beebug and you can find him over at Whipper Snapper Designs. If you're not familiar with their stamps you should stop by and check them out ... they have some of the most adorable images ;)  Anyway, this little sweetie is colored with copics and colored pencils.  I added some Star Dust Stickles to his wings and the flower.  Then I used Glossy Accents on his nose, antennae, and the ladybug.  This was such a fast and easy card to color and assemble.  I used the latest sketch over at The Deconstructed Sketch.  I always love their sketches but usually don't seem to find the time to play along.  If you're ever in need of a layout, it's the perfect place to find some great designs.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Someone Special

Good morning to all of you.  I have another Christmas card to share today.  I used an older Sugar Nellie image that's always been one of my favorites.

This little cutie is Miss Clause from the Home Grown Manga Collection.  Isn't she adorable?  I think she's so cute in her little Santa outfit.  I colored her with copics and colored pencils and used Liquid Applique on the "fluffy" parts of her outfit.  The pretty sentiment is from the Someone Special stamp set, which has lots of beautiful holiday sentiments.  You can find both of these stamps at Funky Kits.  I used my Memory Box Frosty Border Die and added a couple of snowflakes from the My Favorite Things Die-namic.  Then I used some pearls to add a little bling to my card.

Thank you for stopping by today.  Have a great day!

Lulu's Birthday Wishes

Good morning to all of you.  I hope you had a great weekend.  Well, it's Monday so that means I have to catch up on all the things I didn't get accomplished over the weekend.  Unfortunately that means I have to do some house cleaning today (YUCK!)  But before I start that unpleasant task, I have another Kraftin' Kimmie card to share with you.

If you stop by the Kraftin' Kimmie Blog you'll see they're celebrating their third anniversary with some fun challenges and a chance to win prizes :-)  I made this card with the Birthday Lulu set.  This cute little Lulu with the pile of presents was colored with copics and colored pencils.  I used a doily, seam binding, button, and floss on my card.  Then I used Glamour Dust - on her hairbow, pigtail holders, the gifts, and all around the edge of the image and the sentiment.  Lots of sparkle on this card ... and on me (haha).  Be sure to stop by their blog to find out the challenge details.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you have a great week.

I Heart You

Hello friends.  I hope you've had an enjoyable weekend.  I got in plenty of stamping and coloring so my weekend has been fabulous.  Of course, I really needed to clean house instead of crafting but I can always do that tomorrow, right?

On Friday I stopped by the Kraftin' Kimmie Blog and saw that they're celebrating their third anniversary by having a fabulous sale and some fun challenges.  So I decided to use my new Tara stamp to enter their Pink and Girlie challenge.  I colored her with copics and colored pencils and added a sheer ribbon bow.  The sentiment was stamped on the heart diecut and then I used Glamour Dust around the edge of the heart to give my card a little sparkle.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sassy Sally's Fall Pumpkin

Hello sweet friends.  I hope you're having a great weekend.  I've had this sweet image colored for awhile and finally found some time to make a card with her.

This cutie is Sassy Sally's Fall Pumpkin and you can find her over at Sassy Cheryl's Digis.  I colored her with copics and colored pencils.  I'm not sure what I was thinking when I chose the color for her hair bow - I should have used a color that contrasted more with her hair color.  But the bow was one of the last things I colored so I wasn't starting over :-(  So anyway that's a bow on top of her head - not some kind of weird antennae or antlers lol!  I picked up this Bella Blvd paper at my LSS the other day and thought it would be perfect for Sally.  I diecut a tree, the grass, and the pumpkins.  Then I finished the card with some twine and a button.  That cute sentiment is from the CC Designs Halloween Sentiments set.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Hugs, Anita

Caroling Emma

I love her outfit - it reminds me of the long hooded coats the Victorian ladies wore.  She's colored with copics and colored pencils and I used a black glaze pen on her coat buttons.  She's matted on cardstock that I stamped with the new Joy Music stamp.  I know I'm going to get lots of use out of this music stamp - love it!  I added some ribbon and a bow and then added a bell that I cut out with a new CC Cutter Die.

Be sure to stop by the All That Scraps Blog to see what the rest of the amazing DT has created.  While you're there be sure to sign up for a chance to win some stamps!  We're sharing another sneak peek tomorrow so I hope you stop by.  All the new stamps and dies will be available in the All That Scraps shop on Friday, October 5 at 12:01 am CST.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs, Anita

All That Scraps October Preview

Hello friends.  Today the All That Scraps design team is starting the preview of the new October release.  We have lots of fabulous stamps and dies this month and today I'm sharing . . .

Snow Joy

Well, I happen to love snowmen so of course I fell in love with this cute image as soon as I saw it.  I colored this adorable duo with copics and colored pencils and added a bit of Glamour Dust on the snow couple to give them a frosty look.  I used Glossy Accents on their coal buttons and added some "snow" with Liquid Pearls.  The sentiment is from another new stamp set called Funny Xmas.  The holly and berry were cut with a new die that's also being released this month.  All these great new products will be available in the All That Scraps shop on Friday, October 5, at 12:01 am CST.

Be sure to stop by the All That Scraps Blog to see what the rest of the DT has created with these new images.  I'll have another sneak peek tomorrow so I hope to see you then.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you have a great day.

Hugs, Anita
