SugarPea Designs - I Like You A Latte

Good morning everyone!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for an inspiration post on the SugarPea Designs Blog.

I used the cup and saucer image from the Caffeine Addict stamp set and colored it with copics.   The sentiment is from the Espresso Yourself set - there are so many fabulous coffee-themed sentiments in this set!  Be sure to check them all out in the picture below.  I used the SugarCuts - Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles to cut my card base and adhered a strip of colorful paper along the bottom.  Then I added a few sequins to give my card a bit of sparkle.  A perfect card for a coffee-loving friend!

The Challenge #66 - Masculine Inspiration

Good morning!  I hope you had a fabulous weekend, and an amazing Easter if you celebrate it.  Today I'm sharing a card I made for the new challenge over at Always Playing With Paper's The Challenge.  This week we have a masculine inspiration challenge.  I hope you find some time to play along with us!

I used the cruise ship from Your Next Stamp's Vacation Phoebe stamp set for my card.  I started my card by cutting a watercolor panel using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  Then I used distress inks and water to make the background.  I stamped the ship on watercolor paper, colored it with distress inks, and cut it out using the coordinating die.  The fabulous sentiment on the card is also from the Vacation Phoebe stamp set.

Be sure to stop by The Challenge to see the fabulous projects by the rest of the DT!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

From One Chick To Another

Good morning and happy Friday!  I've made a ton of Easter cards this spring and I have another one to share today.

I used this little chick from Pink and Main's Easter Peeps stamp set.  There are lots of adorable chick images and fun sentiments included in this set so it's perfect for making all kinds of different Easter cards.  I colored the chick and eggs with copics and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies from Your Next Stamp to cut my papers and then sponged some distress ink behind the chick.  I used my Wink of Stella clear glitter pen on the eggs and then added a few sequins.  The cute egg paper is from the For Peep's Sake collection from Taylored Expressions.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great day!

Hugs, Anita

Your Next Stamp - March Feature Day

Good morning!  Today is Feature Day over on the Your Next Stamp Blog, which means that the team is sharing new samples featuring the YNS stamps and dies.  Our theme this month is "think spring".

I thought I'd whip up some cute little Easter treat bags for my family's Easter gathering this year.  I started by using some fun polka-dotted paper and the Cute Little Shopping Bag.  After I had these bags assembled (they're super easy!), I stamped and colored some of the adorable chicks from the Hey Chickie! stamp set.  I cut out the chicks using the coordinating die and popped them on the bags with foam dots for some dimension.  After adding some candy to the bags I simply tied them with some ribbon.  OK, three down and about a dozen more to make ... whew!  And hopefully I won't eat all the candy before I have the bags filled ;-)

Be sure to stop by the Your Next Stamp Blog to see what the rest of the DT is sharing today.  If you leave a comment on the YNS Blog you may be the lucky winner of a stamp set of your choice!

Thank you for stopping by.

Our challenge this week is an inspiration challenge and we have a gorgeous picture to inspire you.  I used the sweet Birthday Phoebe to make my card today.  I stamped her on some Neenah cardstock that I cut using the Stitched Square Die set.  I colored Phoebe and the books with copics and I used the Stitched Rectangle Die to cut my flowered paper.  Lastly, I added some sparkly gumdrops to my card.

Easter Treats

Happy Sunday everyone!  I have a quick and easy Easter project to share today.

I've had this wood box in my stash forever and finally decided to make a little treat holder for Easter.  I painted the box with green acrylic paint and then wrapped it with a piece of dp - I thought the carrots would be perfect with this cute bunny from Your Next Stamp's Sprinkles - Egg-stra Awesome! stamp set.  I colored the bunny with copics and then cut it out using the coordinating die set.  I cut out the tag using the Winter Fun Tag Die and tied it to the treat box with some baker's twine.  The smiley-face sun was made using the Rainbows and Happiness stamp and Rainbow Fun Die set.

Pink and Main Bunny

Good morning all.  I've been making lots of Easter cards and I have another one to share today.

I used this sweet Bunny from Pink and Main's Bunny Costume stamp set.  I think this little kiddo in the bunny costume is adorable and it would work for either a boy or a girl, right?  Pretty sure this is the card I'll give my little granddaughter for Easter.  I colored the bunny with copics and then used the coordinating die to cut her out.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies from Your Next Stamp to cut my papers and I used a die from My Favorite Things to cut the sentiment banner.  I added some sequins and used a Wink of Stella clear glitter pen on the egg.  Of course the bright papers are from Doodlebug Design.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have an awesome weekend!

Hugs, Anita
