Happy Halloween

Good evening crafty friends!  I'm sharing a card I made for the sketch challenge over at My Favorite Things.  

This cute little trick-or-treater is from the new Delightful Halloween stamp set.  I followed the MFTWSC 660 and used some colorful Doodlebug Design paper from my stash.  I cut a small rectangle from white cardstock and sponged it with Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Ink.  I spattered the cardstock with white gouache and matted it onto black cardstock.  I colored the images with copics and fussy-cut them.  I used a black gel pen on the kitty's eyes and nose, and used a white gel pen to add highlights to the cheeks.  I adhered the images to the inked rectangle with foam tape.  I heat-embossed one of the sentiments from the set and also used foam tape to adhere the sentiment.

Berry Happy Hello

Happy Monday friends!  Today I'm sharing a card celebrating the new Streamside Studios website!

I used the adorable new Berry Sweet Mice clear stamp set to create my card.  I colored the images with copics and fussy-cut them.  I created a four-window frame on my card and then adhered the images with foam tape.

So Berry Happy

Happy Monday crafty friends!  I hope you had a fabulous weekend.  Today I'm sharing a clean and simple card featuring a clear stamp set from the Streamside Studios Etsy shop!

The large sentiment and strawberries are from the Berry Sweet Mice clear stamp set.  I've had this pretty strawberry paper in my stash forever and thought it would be perfect for this clean and simple card.  I diecut a rectangle from white cardstock, applied Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink, and stamped the large sentiment as the focal point.  I stamped two strawberries, colored them with copic markers, and fussy cut them.  I adhered the strawberries with foam tape to give some dimension to my card.

Friends Like You Make Life Bearable

Good morning friends!  I have a card to share that I made to play along in a sketch challenge.

These adorable bears are from the Bear Hugs stamp set by My Favorite Things.

I colored the bears with copics and used a black and gel pen to the eyes and noses.  I used a white gel pen to add highlights to their cheeks.  I followed the sketch in the MFT Weekly Sketch Challenge 659 for my layout.

Berry Happy Birthday!

Good morning friends!  Today I'm sharing a card featuring some sweet and adorable mice from the Streamside Studios Etsy Shop!   

These cute images are from the Berry Sweet Mice clear stamp set.  There are lots of images and sentiments included in this set.  I diecut a scalloped shaped card, along with two circles from white cardstock.  I sponged the scallop and one circle with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink.  I diecut a smaller piece of cardstock and sponged it with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distess Oxide Inks.  I adhered the grassy area to the pink circle and then matted that on the white diecut circle.  I adhered these layers to the scalloped card.  I stamped one of the sentiments from the stamp set.  I colored the images with copics, fussy cut them, and adhered them to my card with foam tape.  This was a quick and easy birthday to add to my stash!

My Favorite Cupcake

Happy Monday friends!  I hope you had a fun weekend!  Today I'm sharing a card featuring a new release by Streamside Studios Etsy shop. 

This sweet image is called My Favorite Cupcake and it comes with several optional images that you can use for toppers for the cupcake.  I colored the cupcake and cherries with copics and used a white gel pen to add some highlights to the frosting.  I diecut a stitched rectangle, inked it with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink, and spattered it with paint.  I diecut the cupcake and cherries and adhered them to my card with foam tape.  The sentiment is from the All The Feels clear stamp set which you can also find in the Streamside Studios Etsy shop.
