For You

Happy hump day to all of you.  Today I'm sharing my last card as a Guest Designer for the Precious Remembrance Shop.

I used the Friend Stamp set to create my sentiment for this card.  The image is from DigiStamp Boutique.  I used copics and colored pencils to color this sweet little Rosie and added glitter paint to the polka dots on her headband.  The grass and sun dies are from My Favorite Things.

Dyane is releasing new stamps next week over in the Precious Remembrance Shop so be sure you stop by and check them out.  She also has some amazing tutorials you won't want to miss.  I want to thank Dyane for allowing me to deisgn with the fabulous Friend Stamp set this month.  There seems to be a sentiment for almost every occasion and I love it!

You're Tea-rific!

Good afternoon friends.  The Greeting Farm has been having a March Madness challenge the last few weeks.  Their theme this week is "mad about tea parties" so I colored up this cutie to play along in their challenge over on Splitcoaststampers.

This sweet image is HG Classy and she's one of TGF's digi images.  I colored her with copics and colored pencils.  I added some Glamour Dust to her skirt ruffle and hat band.  I made a lacey flower and added some pearls to finish my card.

My grandson was keeping me company this morning until it was time for him to go to kindergarten and he decided this little girl was lonely.  So he gave her some friends to play with and then took another picture.  Well, as he's my only grandchild I just had to share his fabulous picture with all of you lol!  So here she is in her fancy dress and gloves, sipping tea, surrounded by her playmates.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day.

Hugs, Anita

Mmm, Chocklit!

Good morning friends.  I hope you had a fabulous weekend and you're ready for a brand new Pollycraft challenge?  Our lovely Cazza chose our theme this week and she wants to see lots of chocklit (either Easter chocolate or the color chocolate).

I used this adorable Fluffy Wabbit for my card.  This little cutie will be going to either my grandson or nephew so I wanted him to be bright and colorful.  He's colored with copics and colored pencils and there's Glossy Accents on his eyes and chocolate candy.  I added a few buttons to finish my card.  Since I'll be mailing this I didn't want to make it too bulky.

Our challenge is being sponsored by Letraset.  Be sure to stop by the Pollycraft Challenge Blog to see the amazing work by the rest of the DT.  I hope you can join us this week.

Thanks for stopping by.

A New Challenge at Di's DigiDesigns

Hello friends.  We have a new challenge for you over at Di's DigiDesigns Challenge BlogWe want to see embossing ... wet or dry.

I used Poorly Ted on my card today.  Isn't he just the cutest?  His sweet little face would cheer up anyone who's feeling a bit under the weather, don't you think?  I used copics and colored pencils and added some Glossy Accents to Ted and the bunny's noses, and also to the band-aid on his noggin'.  Of course there's some embossing and then I added some ribbon, flowers, and pearls.  My poor hubby is recovering from surgery so I could give him this card ... but somehow I don't think he would be too wild about a card with ribbon, flowers and pearls lol!  So I think Poorly Ted will just hang out with me until I can send him to a new home that will love and appreciate him ;)

Our challenge is being sponsored by Joanna Sheen.  Please stop by Di's DigiDesigns Challenge Blog to see the beautiful work by the rest of the DT.

This fluffy fella is from the Barry Bunny collection.  I love this little bear dressed as a bunny!  He's colored with copics and colored pencils and of course has Glossy Accents on his nose.  I used my nestabilities to make this scalloped circle card and the grass is from a My Favorite Things die-namic.

Think Spring

Hello and happy Thursday!  Have you been having nice weather?  It's been beautiful here.  I actually think we broke the record high yesterday ... yeah!  It feels like June rather than March but I'm not complaining.  It's suppose to start cooling down in a day or two so I'm enjoying this gorgeous weather while I can ;)

Today I made a card for a good friend.  She has a lot going on in her life right now and I thought this adorable image from Sassy Cheryl's Digis just might cheer her up a little. I colored this cute image with copics and colored pencils and then applied some paint for dots on the flower.  There's glitter paint on the bee's wings of course.  I made the rosette with some lace from my stash and then added a button.  My sentiment is from my much-loved Precious Remembrance Shop's Friend Stamp Set.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoy your day.

A Wonderful Friend

(** Please scroll down for my Sugar Nellie post **)

I have another card to share with you today using the fabulous Friend Stamp Set by Precious Remembrance Shop.  I have to tell you that I absolutely love this set of sentiments!

This cute little image is Wryn and Mo by Tiddly Inks.  These bff's are colored with copics and colored pencils, with a touch of Glossy Accents on Mo's nose.  I've added a little heart banner and some buttons to finish my card.  The current challenge over at Tiddly Inks is "best friends forever" and I thought the sentiment I used worked perfectly for their challenge.

So here's the Friend Stamp Set.  See why I love it?  These sentiments go with everything :)  Also check out the Precious Remembrance Shop Blog.  Dyane shares some awesome tutorials over there featuring her gorgeous cards.

Hoppy Easter

Good morning sweet friends.  Today I have used one of the newer Sugar Nellie releases on my card ...

                                                      Bunny Pip

Look at her holding hands with her little bunny ... isn't that adorable?  And so perfect for your Easter cards.  I colored these sweeties with copics and colored pencils,  I used Liquid Pearls on Pip's necklace and Liquid Applique to give the bunny a fluffy tail.  I added some flowers and butterflies with pearls.  My sentiment is a stamp I've had forever and thought it was perfect for this little hopping bunny.  You can find this sweet Bunny Pip over at Funky Kits.  While you're over there, check out all the other Pips - they're so cute!

We are having a "Pip" week over on the Sugar Nellie Blog each day so be sure to stop by and check out the gorgeous work by the DT.  You might also want to leave comments over there as they just might have some candy to be won ;)

Stamp Winner

Sorry I'm so late posting this but hey, I'm getting older and sometimes I just forget things ;)  So a few days ago I admitted that I bought the same stamp twice (see this post) and offered the extra stamp to a loyal follower.  I really wish I had one of these stamps for each of you as your visits and comments mean so much to me.  But sadly, I only had the one stamp and Random.org picked number  ...

                          #12  Maria Therese

So Maria, email me your address and I will get that adorable The Greeting Farm - Snuggle stamp on its way.

Hugs, Anita

Check It Out!

Happy Monday to all of you.  We have a new challenge for you over on the Pollycraft Challenge Blog.  Our lovely Jane chose our theme this week and she chose the theme "Check It Out" ... so we want to see your projects with ginghams and/or plaids.

I used the cute Cuthbert and Kiki - Kiki Honey Bunny image.  I love this little bear dressed up in his bunny suit.  He's colored with copics and colored pencils and there's some glitter paint on the heart on his tummy.  I used Glossy Accents on his nose, and on the duck's beak and feet.  There's also Liquid Applique on his fluffy tail.

We're being sponsored this week by Pollycraft and the prize is 10 digis of your choice, so I hope you play along with us this week.  Be sure to stop by the Pollycraft Challenge Blog to see the DT's gorgeous gingham & plaid projects.

Ella Lollipop

(** Scroll down one post to see my free stamp **)

Hello sweet friends.  I was looking through some blog challenges a few days ago and ran across this one over at By LORi Designs.  I love the inspiration colors so decided to play along.

This adorable image is Ella Lollipop.  She's colored with copics and colored pencils.  My papers are a new line by We R Memory Keepers that I picked up at my LSS and I thought they were perfect for this challenge.  I added some twill ribbon and buttons to finish my card.  My sentiment is from the Friend Stamp Set from the Precious Remembrance Shop.

This is a Stamping Bella stamp I've had for several years and I don't see it on their website any longer.  I did find this little cutie  as a digi over in Lori's shop if you want to add her to your collection :)  I really seem to be pulling out all my older stamps this week, don't I?  Well, our older stamps need some inky love too, right?

Thanks for stopping by.  Hope you're enjoying your weekend.

I Heart You (and a Free stamp)

Hello friends.  Just popping on quickly to share a card I made with an older stamp from The Greeting Farm.

I have had this stamp for quite a while and never inked it up ... I know, shame on me.  She's so cute, I don't know why I waited so long to play with her.  The stamp is Snuggle but I couldn't find her on their website so I think maybe she's been retired?  Anyway, she's colored with copics and colored pencils and I used some glitter paint on the ruffle on her dress.

Now, I'm guessing I really liked this stamp because I bought 2 of them lol!  So I thought I would give one of them to one of my sweet followers.  In order to be eligible to win this stamp, you must be a follower who has left a comment on my blog recently.  So if you left a comment on my blog between March 4 and March 15, 2012 and you would like to give my second stamp some inky love, just leave me a comment below.  That's it ... easy peasy, right?  You have until 12:00 midnight EST.  I'll have random.org pick a name and I'll post it on my blog Monday, March 19.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Hugs, Anita

I'm Just Fluttering By

Hello friends.  I hope you're having a fabulous week.  Mine has been a little crazy but I've gotten lots of crafting done ... that always makes me happy!  Here's a cute little hedgehog from Funky Kits.

This little fella is Aviator and he's one of Sugar Nellie's newest releases.  Isn't he adorable?  I love the look on his face - it's just so sweet.  I colored him and his little friend with copics and colored pencils.  I used some glitter paint on the bee's wings and Glossy Accents on the goggles and Aviator's nose.  I saw these papers a few weeks ago at a local craft shop and knew they'd be perfect for this card.  Unfortunately I ended up covering up most of the airplane paper :(
Anyway, you can find Aviator and all the other fabulous Sugar Nellie stamps over at Funky Kits.

Speaking of Sugar Nellie's latest release, have you stopped by the Sugar Nellie Blog recently?  We are showcasing our new Ribonita images this week, so stop by the blog and check out the gorgeous work by our talented design team.

Thank you for stopping by.  Hang in there ... only one more day till the weekend!

I Heart You So Much

(**Please scroll down for my Divas by Design post**)

I have a new card to share with you today using the fabulous Friend Stamp Set from the Precious Remembrance Shop.  This stamp set is quickly becoming one of my favorite sets of sentiments.

I decided to use this adorable little boy hugging his teddy bear.  I think this was one of my Christmas gifts to myself and this is the first time I've colored this sweet little boy.  He reminds me of my grandson, Zack, who LOVES his stuffed animals lol!  This cute image is Noah & Patches from Sassy Cheryl's Digis.  I used my copics and colored pencils and then added some diecut hearts and buttons.  I always have such a hard time picking embellishments for boy cards ... it's so much easier when I can throw on the girly glitter, frilly ribbon, and flowers.

Be sure you stop by the Precious Remembrance Shop to check out Dyane's stamp sets.  She also has some new flower, ribbon, and heart embellishments in her shop that you will love!  And you can find great tutorials over on the Precious Remembrance Shop Blog

Citrus Colors over at the Divas

Hello friends.  It's Wednesday so that means we have a new challenge for you today over on the Divas By Design Challenge Blog.  This week we want to see you use "citrus colors".

This cute little girl is Let's Go To Sleep and you can find her over in The Paper Shelter shop.  She's colored with copics and colored pencils.  I added just a touch of Glossy Accents to the puppy's nose and tongue, and also to the bunny's noses.  My papers are by Echo Park and they're some I've had for quite a while - still trying to make myself use up some of my old stash.  A few buttons and a bow finished my card.

Our challenge is being sponsored by The Paper Shelter.  They have so many adorable images so be sure you stop by and check them out.  Please hop over to our challenge blog to see the beautiful cards by the rest of our talented DT.

(** Please scroll down for my Pollycraft post **)

Well, hello again!  I finished this card a couple of days ago for the Tiddly Inks Challenge ... and then I forgot to post it.  So I've got just a few hours left to squeeze it in before the challenge deadline.

This little cutie is You Are On My Mind and she's colored with copics and colored pencils.  Isn't she precious?  And look at all that hair!  I used glitter paint on the heart she's holding.  My sentiment is from Precious Remembrance Shop's Friend Stamp Set.  Tiddly Inks' challenge is to use fabric so I made a yo yo flower from cotton muslin and added a cute heart-shaped button.

It's Time for a Sketch & a New Release

Good morning friends.  We've got a lot going on today over at Pollycraft Designs.  Paula has a new release so be sure to stop by and check them out ... they're adorable!  And since it's Monday, we also have a new challenge over on the Pollycraft Challenge Blog.  Our sweet Paula has drawn a sketch for our challenge this week and you can find all the details here

I used one of the new releases, Barclay's Star.  Isn't he the cutest little squirrel?  And he was so much fun to color.  I tried to add some texture to his tail by using different colors ... not sure if it really worked but I kinda like the way he turned out :)  He's colored with copics and colored pencils and I used Glossy Accents on his nose and teeth.  I paper pieced the large star and applied some glitter paint to both stars.  A bit of ribbon and some buttons finished my card.  My sentiment is from the Friend Stamp Set by Precious Remembrance Shop.

Our challenge is being sponsored by Bunny Zoe's Crafts and the lucky winner will receive a voucher to their shop.  Please stop by the Pollycraft Challenge Blog to see the gorgeous work by the rest of the DT.
