Create A Smile Stamps Challenge

Good morning!  We have a new challenge today over on the Create A Smile Stamps Blog.

Our new challenge is to use the colors of summer.  I used stamps from the Cart Full Of Treasurers stamp set.  I love this cute little koala pulling a wagon full of flowers!  I sponged Cracked Pistachio and Scattered Straw Distress Oxide Inks onto Bristol card and flicked water from a paintbrush.  Once the Bristol was dry, I stamped the sentiment.  I stamped the images, diecut them with my Scan N Cut, then colored them with copics.  I used Nuvo Crystal Glaze on the koala's nose and I used a black glaze pen on the koala's eyes.  I used a white gel pen to add a few highlights.

I hope you find some time to play along in the challenge.  The winner will receive a gift card to the CAS shop.  You can find all the details over on the Create A Smile Blog

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day!

Hugs, Anita

Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop

Welcome to the Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop!  If you are looking for some inspiration for Christmas cards, you have come to the right place.  Our team does a monthly Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop! We will be sharing Christmas creations on the 25th of each month.

The whole idea is to have some Christmas cards and projects in our stash all ready to go for December 2019!

I used the Smell Like Christmas  stamp set by Gerda Steiner Designs.  I stamped the images on Neenah cardstock, colored them with copics, and then diecut them using the coordinating dies.  I used a black glaze pen on the mouse's nose and added some highlights using a white gel pen.  I sponged Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Inks onto Bristol card and then flicked water with a paintbrush.  I added a diecut frame and adhered all the images with foam tape for dimension.

Copics Used:
Mouse - W2, W1, W0; R00; 100
Clothes - C3, C1; R14, R12, R11, R00; G07, G05, G02, G00
Mittens and Boots - N8, N6, N4
Tray - B2, B01, B000
Cookies - E33, E31, E30, E50; R14, R12, R11; G05, G01; B02

You're The Sweetest

Good morning friends!  Today I'm sharing a card featuring a sweet stamp set from Reverse Confetti.

These sweet images are from the Ice Cream Social set.  I adore this stamp set and it's so perfect for lots of different occasions.  I colored the images with copics and used a black glaze pen on their eyes.  I used my Wink of Stella Clear Glitter pen on the popsicle and ice cream to give them a frosty look.  I sponged Cracked Pistachio distress oxide ink onto Bristol card and then spattered on some water drops.  I stamped the sentiment and then adhered the images with foam tape for dimension.  I added a few sequins for a bit of sparkle.

 Copics Used:
Bunny - W2, W1, W0, R00
Bear - E31, E30, E50, C1, E01
