Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop

Welcome to the Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop!  If you are looking for some inspiration for Christmas cards, you have come to the right place.  Our team does a monthly Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop! We will be sharing Christmas creations on the 25th of each month.

The whole idea is to have some Christmas cards and projects in our stash all ready to go for December 2019!

I used the Cool Buddies stamp set by Create A Smile Stamps.  This stamp set has been retired but there are other adorable Christmas sets in the Create A Smile shop!  I stamped the images on Neenah cardstock, colored them with copics, and then fussy cut them.  I used a black glaze pen on the penguin, snowman, and fox eyes and added Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the snowman and fox noses, and the penguin's beak.  I used a white gel pen to add some white highlights.   I sponged Chipped Sapphire and Peacock Feathers Distress Inks onto Bristol card using a wave stencil and added a sentiment from the Jingle Greetings stamp set by Mama Elephant.  I adhered the critters with foam tape and added some clear sequins to give my card some sparkle.

Please hop along and be sure to visit each of the blogs.  There's lots of inspiration and ideas to get your creative juices flowing!

You Donut Even Know

Good morning!  Today I'm sharing a birthday card I made using a couple of stamp sets by Mama Elephant.

Most of these cute images are from the Donut Treats stamp set; the little chickie is from the Party Animals.  I colored all the images with copics and then diecut them using my Scan N Cut.  I sponged distress inks onto Bristol card, spattered some water drops, and adhered the stitched frame and images with foam tape.  I used a black glaze pen on the mouse's and chickie's eyes and added sprinkles to the donuts with a white gel pen.  I used a clear Wink of Stella glitter pen on the party hats and added a few clear bubble embellishments to finish my card.

Copics Used:
Mouse - W2, W0; V15, V12
Chickie - Y32, Y11, Y000; YG03, YG01, YG00; BG05, BG01
Donut Box - C1
Donuts - E31, E30, E50; R12, R11, R00; B02, B01, B000

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

Hugs, Anita

Create A Smile Stamps - Monochromatic

Good morning!  We have a new challenge today over on the Create A Smile Stamps Blog.

Our new challenge is "Monochromatic".  I used the Tender Tulips stamp set for my card today.  I stamped my sentiment on Bristol card and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder.  Then I sponged the card with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink and spattered water from a paintbrush to create the lighter spots on the card.   I stamped the tulips and butterfly on watercolor paper and also heat-embossed those with white embossing powder.  I watercolored the images using Picked Raspberry Distress Ink and fussy-cut the images.  I adhered the tulips and butterfly with foam tape for some dimension.  Lastly, I added a few sparkly bubble embellishments.

I hope you find some time to play along in the challenge.  The winner receives a gift card to the shop!  You can find all the challenge details on the Create A Smile Blog.  If you don't currently own any Create A Smile stamps, you can use a freebie from their blog!

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful day!

The Greeting Farm - March Previews Day 3

Hello and welcome to the final day of The Greeting Farm February previews.  Today I'm sharing a card that features the new Graduation stamp set!

Isn't he a cutie?  All the little graduates in this stamp set are adorable and of course there are perfect sentiments included too!  I love that Marie is releasing this set early enough that I'm not going to have to rush to get my graduation cards made.  I stamped the hat on red cardstock using VersaMark ink and then heat-embossed with white embossing powder.  I colored him with copics and diecut the image using my Scan N Cut.  A very clean and simple card that can easily be mass-produced if you need lots of graduation cards!

Be sure to stop by tomorrow for our Blog Hop!  Meanwhile, be sure to visit The Greeting Farm Blog to see what the rest of our team made with this adorable Graduation stamp set!

Thanks for stopping by.
