Oh Happy Day!

Happy Monday friends!  Today I'm sharing a clean and simple card using a stamp set by Hello Bluebird.

These adorable bunnies are from the Meadow Bunnies stamp set, as is the sentiment.  I used a kraft card for my base and attached a striped piece of designer paper that I found in my stash.  I also die cut a scalloped oval from kraft and a pierced oval from white card stock.  I inked the white oval with Cracked Pistachio and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks and adhered the ovals to my card.  I die cut a bow from an older bow die from My Favorite Things and adhered it to the card.  I colored the images with copics, die cut them using the coordinating dies, and adhered them with foam tape.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a fabulous week.

Happy Birthday Sweet Thing

Good morning crafty friends!  Today I'm sharing a card that I created for a challenge over on the My Favorite Things Blog.

These adorable images are from the Kitchen Cuties stamp set.  I colored the images with copics and fussy-cut them.  I used a black gel pen on the puppy's eye.  I followed the sketch for the current challenge and used some MFT designer papers from my stash.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a great weekend!

Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge

Good morning crafty friends!  Today I'm guest designing for the Caffeinated Christmas Challenge #27

The theme for March is Green.  In order to play along, you must link a new Christmas/Holiday themed card with green.  Your card can be coffee, tea, or hot cocoa!  Check out the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge blog for all the details!  I used images from the adorable Mama Elephant Hot Cocoa stamp set to create my card.  I inked a stitched rectangle with Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Ink, splattered it with thinned white gouache, and stamped a few small snowflakes with white pigment ink.  I adhered the stitched rectangle to layers of green and red cardstock.  I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set along the bottom of my card.  I colored the images with copics and fussy cut them.  I used a black gel pen on the penguin and deer eyes and used a white gel pen to add some highlights.  I adhered the images to my card with foam tape.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a fabulous day!

You Make Me Smile

Good morning friends!  I have a fun card to share today that features both digital and clear stamps by Streamside Studios.

I cut a panel of bristol card to measure 4.25" x 5.5" and inked it with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink.  I splattered it with diluted Salvaged Patina and white gouache, and adhered it to my card base.  Next, I diecut two slopes from bristol card and inked them with Tea Dye and Walnut Stain Distress Inks.  I splattered the slopes of dirt with both thinned brown acrylic paint and white gouache, and adhered them to my card.  I stamped one of the sentiments from the All The Feels stamp set.  I printed the bunnies and carrots from the Cupcake Critters Bunny digital stamp set, colored them with copics, and fussy-cut them.  I adhered some of the carrots directly to card with liquid glue.  The bunnies and a few of the carrots were adhered with foam tape to give my card some dimension.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have an amazing day!

Sending A Holiday Hi

Good evening friends!  I'm posting a Christmas card for some challenges over on the My Favorite Things Blog!

These sweet images are from the North Pole Pals stamp set.  I started my card by stamping the images and coloring them with copics.  I used a black gel pen on the bear and penguin eyes.  I diecut a stitched rectangle and inked it with Peacock Feathers, Prize Ribbon, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot Distress Oxide Inks.  I heat embossed a white snowflake from the stamp set.  Next, I diecut a snow slope and inked the edge of the slope with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink.  I stamped one of the sentiments from the set onto the snow slope.  I adhered the snow slope with foam tape and then I adhered the bear and the penguins.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hoppy Easter

Hello crafty friends!  Today I'm sharing a fun Easter card featuring stamps by Streamside Studios!

These adorable images are from the Sweet Easter Friends stamp set.  This set is currently out of stock at Streamside Studios but you can find it over at Simon Says Stamp.  If you prefer working with digital stamps you can find them in the Streamside Studios shop.  I stamped the images on Neenah cardstock, colored them with copics, and fussy-cut them.  I used a stitched rectangle die to cut a panel of white cardstock.  I inked the panel with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink.  I diecut grassy strips and inked them with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink.  I stamped sentiments on the strips and adhered them with foam tape.  I also adhered the images with foam tape.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you have a fabulous day!

Happy New Baby

Hello friends!  Today I'm over on the Heffy Doodle Blog sharing a sweet baby card!

This adorable mouse and balloons are from the Popping By stamps.  I colored the images with copics and used a black gel pen on the mouse's eyes.  I applied Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the mouse's nose.

I used the Stitched Hearts Background Die to cut a panel from white card stock.  I inked the panel with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink, splattered it with thinned white gouache, and adhered it to my card base.  I used the Happy New Baby Jumbo Sentiment Dies to cut the sentiment from both yellow pattern paper and white card stock.  I wanted the sentiment to have some dimension so I glued several of the white diecuts together and then glued the yellow diecut on top of the others.  I glued the jumbo sentiment to my card and then added the balloons and mouse with foam tape.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have an amazing day!

Sending Christmas Cheer

Hello friends!  Today I'm sharing a Christmas card to add to my stash for this year!

I diecut a stitched rectangle from bristol card and inked it with distress oxide inks. I splattered the card with both white and navy watercolor paints.  I used the Christmas Tree Farm stamp set from My Favorite Things.  This set has been retired but there are lots more adorable Christmas sets in their shop!  I colored the images with copics and diecut them using the coordinating dies.  I adhered the images, sparkly diecut snowflakes, and heat embossed sentiment to my card with foam tape.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a beautiful day!

Hugs, Anita
