Hey Sugar!

Good morning!  I hope you're having a great week so far.  I have a new card using a sweet image from the Sugar Rush stamp set from Paper Smooches.

This stamp set is so fun and the possibilities are endless, plus it's such a perfect set to make some quick and easy summer cards.  I colored these yummy popsicles with copics and then added Glamour Dust to make them look icy cold!  Of course I used some bright Doodlebug dp - I love their papers!  Then I added a few glittered dots to finish my card.  This was such an easy card to make and who wouldn't love to receive a bright, fun card "just because"?

If you live in my area you can pick up all the supplies to make this card at The Paper Cottage.  Brenda has all the supplies including the stamp set, coordinating dies, dp, Glamour Dust, and enamel dots!  Of course if you're not local you can find the stamps and dies over at Paper Smooches

Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs, Anita

SugarPea Designs - SPDSS28

Good Monday morning everyone!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  If you're in the States, I'm guessing you got to see some amazing fireworks and maybe had a great cookout too?  Unfortunately we missed the fireworks this year but we did get to attend the parade and had a great BBQ with family.  Doesn't get much better than that, right?  So anyway, we have a new sketch challenge over on the SugarPea Designs Blog today so I hope you're ready to get inky!

I've got tons going on around my house right now so I went for quick and easy for this sketch.  I used the Read Between The Lines clear stamp set for the focal point of my card.  The little book in the diecut circle is also from this stamp set.  Then I used the SugarCuts - Brainy Bookmarks die to cut the little glasses.  Take a look at the photos below and you'll see all the fabulous images and sentiments that come in these stamp and die sets.

The rules are simple:
   -   Create a new card or project using the SugarSketch provided
   -   SugarPea Design stamps are not required to play along or to win, but would be appreciated
   -   You may rotate/flip the sketch and replace shapes - so long as the original sketch layout is recognizable
   -   Upload to your blog or other Online Gallery using Keyword SPDSS28 so that we can check out your beautiful work
   -   Add your name and link to your project in the InLinkz on the SugarPea Designs Blog
   -   One randomly selected winner will receive a $10 Gift Certificate to the SugarPea Designs Online Shoppe.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a great week!

Hugs, Anita

For my first card I used Jessica With Her Puppy.  Isn't she adorable?  The perfect image for all my dog-loving family and friends!  I colored them with copics and then cut the cardstock with the Stitched Square Die Set.  The sparkly gumdrops are one of the new colors called Silver Tinsel!

My second card features the fun Sticky Note clear stamp set and the coordinating dies.  I colored this happy frog with copics and made a shaker card.  I thought he would look really cute tapping on the acetate "window".  I cut the window square with the Stitched Square Die Set and cut the shaker "pieces" using the Confetti Die.  I added some Love Earth and Love Me Some Latte gumdrops.

Karen is offering 20% off your entire purchase from July 5th through July 12th!  Be sure to stop back by the YNS Blog on July 8th for even more inspiration with the new July release stamps and dies!

Happy July friends!  We've got a new monthly challenge over on the TGF Blog today and the theme is "red, white and blue".  A perfect theme for those July 4th cards, right?

I used this sweet little Dressy Ebony - digi to make a celebration card!  I love this image!  She's so cute and I love her haircut ;-)  I colored her with my copics and then used my Wink of Stella clear glitter pen on the flower in her hair.  I added some diecut stars with sequins to finish my card.  Very clean and simple and she's so easy to color too!

It's A Good Day

Happy Saturday!  I hope you're enjoying your weekend ... and I hope you're having some amazing weather.  Once again, we've got rain, cloudy skies, and cooler than normal temps ... yuck!  Summer, where are you LOL?

Well, this cute bunny and her yummy cupcakes helped brighten up my soggy day ;-)  I've had this Carnival Cupcakes stamp set from Mama Elephant for  awhile now and finally got to play with it.  I also have some (new to me) Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens and that's what I used to color this stamp.  I've heard both good and not-so-good comments about these pens but I have to say I really like them ... a lot!  I love the bright colors of these pens and I think they're so easy to use.  Of course, having this adorable image to color makes it fun too.  The sentiment is from the Up And Away stamp set.  If you want more details on the products I used on my card, check out the small print at the bottom of my post.

Thanks for stopping by.  Enjoy your day!

Hugs, Anita

Your Next Stamp - Fun Friday Sketch and Color Challenge #17

Happy Friday everyone!  I hope you've had an amazing week!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for our latest Fun Friday Sketch and Color Challenge over on the Your Next Stamp Blog.

Isn't this butterfly fun?   It's from the new Quirky Animals Set Five clear stamp set.  If you look at the photo of the stamp set below, you'll see there are two adorable butterfly images and lots of great sentiments!  I colored the butterfly with my Zig Clear Color Real Brushes and a Wink of Stella clear glitter pen.  These Zig brushes are new to me and I've really been having fun with them.  I cut the butterfly using the coordinating Quirky Animals Set Five Dies and then applied some Glossy Accents to the sunglasses.   I used the Stitched Rectangle Die Set and the Stitched Square Die Set to cut the white cardstock.  I used the Chunky Grass Die to cut the grass and then stamped the sentiment on the grass.  I used some Neon Sunrise and Mermaid Fun gumdrops to finish my card.

To enter the challenge you need to follow the sketch and/or the inspiration photo.  Be sure to stop by the Your Next Stamp Blog to read the challenge details and to see the beautiful projects by the rest of the DT!

Thank you so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a great weekend.
