Look Whooo's Having A Birthday

Good morning!  I have a fun and colorful birthday card to share today.

This cute owl is from Pink and Main's What A Hoot stamp set - I love how he's peeking out of the box!  There are several fun owl images and cute sentiments in this set so be sure to stop by Pink and Main's shop to check it out!  I colored the image with copics and paper-pieced the gift box.  Then I used the coordinating die to cut out the owl.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Die from Your Next Stamp to cut the designer paper.  I applied Glossy Accents to the owl's beak used my Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen on the ribbon and bow.  I wrapped some twine around my card and then added a few enamel dots.

The Challenge #74 - Masculine Inspiration

Good morning, I hope you had an enjoyable weekend.  Today starts a new challenge over at Always Playing With Paper's The Challenge.

Our challenge this week is a masculine challenge and we have a great picture to inspire you!  I used the tractor, fence, and chicken from My Favorite Thing's Farm-tastic stamp set.  There are lots of cute farm animals and sentiments included in this set so it's perfect for lots of different occasions!  I colored everything with copics and then used the coordinating die-namics to cut them out.  I used Your Next Stamp's Stitched Rectangle Die to cut the fun plaid paper.  The ovals were cut with Spellbinders oval dies and I sponged Mowed Lawn and Tumbled Glass distress inks for the ground and sky.  The sentiment is stamped on a banner I cut using the Die-namics Fishtail Flags Layers STAX.

Be sure to stop by The Challenge to see the fabulous projects by the rest of the DT.  I hope you find some time to play along in the challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Your Next Stamp - May Feature Day

Good morning!  Today is Feature Day over on the Your Next Stamp Blog, which means that the team is sharing new samples featuring the YNS products.  Our theme this month is "flowers".

I used several stamps and dies to create my card.  I started by cutting a piece of white cardstock with the Stitched Rectangle Die Set and then I stenciled some clouds.  I used the little birds from Word Critters Collection - Spring Birds and the fence is from the Jessica with her Horse set.  I colored them with copics, used the coordinating die sets to cut them out, and then adhered them to my card base with foam dots for some dimension.

Karen is having a special sale in honor of her son's birthday so be sure to stop by the YNS Shop to pick up those products you've been wanting!

Stop by the Your Next Stamp Blog to see what the rest of the DT is sharing today.  If you leave a comment on the YNS Blog you may be the lucky winner of a stamp set of your choice!

I'm Glad We're Friends

Happy Thursday!  I've got a sweet little bunny card to share with you today.

This little cutie is from My Favorite Thing's new Snuggle Bunnies stamp set.  Lots of cute bunnies and bears with great sentiments included too!  I love this stamp set and I've already made several cards with it that I'll be sharing on my blog in the near future.  I decided I would play along with the MFT Color Challenge 45 - I love the bright colors in this challenge!  I colored this little snuggle bunny with copics and used a black glaze pen on his (her?) nose.  I cut the bunny out using the Die-namics Snuggle Bunnies die and adhered it to some circles that I cut with the Die-namics Stitched Circle STAX dies.  I cut the pattern paper with the Die-namics Inside & Out Stitched Rounded Rectangle STAX die.  I added a few bright enamel dots to finish my card.

Copics used:
Bunny - W3, W1, W0, R30
Bunny ears - E00, E000, E0000

The Challenge #73 - Inspiration

Good morning, I hope you had an enjoyable weekend.  Today I'm sharing a card I made for our new challenge over at Always Playing With Paper's The Challenge.

Our challenge this week is an inspiration challenge and we have a beautiful picture to inspire you.  I cut a piece of water color paper with Your Next Stamp's Stitched Rectangle Die , stamped the WPlus9 Doodle Buds flowers, and then colored them with distress inks.  I also added a few sequins for some sparkle.  This is a very quick and easy card that I think would put a smile on anyone's face.

ConGRADulations

Good morning!  It's that time of year when lots of graduations are happening so I thought I'd pop on and share a quick and easy graduation card.

This adorable owl is from Pink and Main's Grad Owl clear stamp.  I just love those huge glasses he (or she?) is wearing.  I think I had some that were that large back in the day lol.  I colored the image with copics and then used some Glossy Accents on the owl's beak and claws.  I really think the Glossy Accents would look fabulous on the glasses but my bottle was almost empty and I was afraid I would run out of gloss halfway through the glasses.  I used some fun star paper from Doodlebug Design.  The stamp set includes several great sentiments to choose from.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day!

Hugs, Anita

Happy Friday everyone!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for our new Sketch and Color Challenge over on the Your Next Stamp Blog

I used the Word Critters Collection - Gardening Birds clear stamp set to make this fun card.  Now really, isn't that sentiment hilarious with this image?  I colored everything with copics and then cut them out with the coordinating dies.    I used my Stitched Rectangle Die to cut the pattern paper and the white cardstock.  I cut some green cardstock with the Spring/Summer Scene die for the ground and then I used the Puffy Cloud Border die to cut the blue cloud for the sentiment.

To enter the challenge you need to follow the sketch and/or the inspiration photo.  Be sure to stop by the Your Next Stamp Blog to read the challenge details and to see the fabulous projects by the rest of the DT!
