Spooky Treats

Have you had your Trick-or-Treat night yet?  Ours was last night and we actually had more beggers than we've had the last couple of years.  It's so fun to see the little ones in their costumes, isn't it?  I love making Halloween cards and decorations so I'm sad that Halloween is almost over.  This will probably be my last Halloween project for the year.

I used Background Haunted House from Di's Digi Downloads.  I printed the haunted house scene onto my Halloween paper and then cut out the scalloped tag using a Sizzix die.  I made the rosette and added a computer-generated sentiment.  Some black and orange gingham ribbon finished off my project.  My hubby found this candy jar so I'm really suprised there's any candy corn left lol!

Trick or Treat

Hello friends.  I have a Halloween card to share today.

This is Barry from the StampFairy Barry Halloween 2 collection.  Isn't he adorable all dressed up as a candy corn?  As soon as I saw him I knew I had to use him to make a Halloween card for my grandson.  I colored him with copics and colored pencils and used Glossy Accents on his nose.  My grandson will love that he has a shiny nose - I'm not sure what it is but he loves when I use Glossy Accents on his cards lol!  I used my spiderweb punch and added some ribbon and a little sentiment tag.  Very clean and simple card but I know Zack will love it.

Spooky Sweets

Happy Thursday friends.  My little grandson loves candy.  Well, I guess most 6-year-olds do, don't they?  Anyway, I decided to make a little Halloween treat box for him.

I've used Chubby Halloween on this treat box.  You can find this adorable little bear and lots of other Halloween images over in the StampFairy Shop.  I colored my image with copics and colored pencils.  I used Glossy Accents on his nose and Glamour Dust on the stars on his hat.  I started with a plain paper mache box and painted it orange.  I decorated it with some Halloween papers and a spiderweb border punch.

I've filled this little box with lots of kisses ... and I'm sure I'll receive lots of kisses for making him this little treat ;-)

Simply Sparkly

Well, we're halfway through the week and only 2 more days until the weekend - yeah!

I have something sparkly to show you today.  I used Tiffany, one of the Simply Sassy images from Sugar Nellie.  Isn't she gorgeous in her little dancing outfit?  She would be perfect for a little budding ballerina, wouldn't she?  I colored her with my copics and colored pencils and used Glamour Dust on the edges of my papers.  I also sprinkled Glamour Dust on the flowers, doily and punched butterflies.  I used some sheer ribbon on my card but it's kind of hard to see.  I made a little lace rosette and added a pink heart button, to match the one she's wearing in her hair.

You can find this beautiful image over at Funky Kits.  And, have you entered the Sugar Bowl Challenge yet?  You still have a week to enter their latest challenge and the winner gets some gorgeous Sugar Nellie stamps!  So be sure to stop by the challenge to get all the details.

Paint Yourself A Different Color

Happy Tuesday friends.  I have a sweet little bear to show you today.

This little cutie is Bearicelli and you can find him and lots of other adorable images over at Di's Digi Downloads.  I colored this little budding artist with copics and colored pencils.  I added Glossy Accents to the nose, paintbrush handles, and the paint blobs (yes, I'm sure that's the term all professional artists use, lol) on the palette.  I stitched all my papers and added some ribbon and a bow.

As soon as I saw Bearicelli I knew exactly which sentiment I wanted to use with him.  I've had these cute little Inkadinkado  sentiments for quite a while and I knew this sentiment would go perfectly with this bear.  Wouldn't this be the perfect card to cheer up a friend who's feeling a little down?  You may want to hand-deliver this card though because it's very heavy lol!
