Have A Sloth-Some Birthday!

Good morning friends!  I'm guest designing for Streamside Studios and I'm sharing a fun birthday card featuring some new stamps from their Etsy Shop!

I combined images from the Sloth-Some Sloths and Yeti Yeti Yeti stamp sets.  You can find these clear stamps in the Streamside Studios Etsy Shop and at Simon Says Stamp!  I stamped all the images, colored them with copics and colored pencils, and fussy cut them.  I used a white gel pen to add some highlights to a few of the images.  I diecut a stitched rectangle from white cardstock and sponged it with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink.  I spattered the panel with white gouache and dark blue watercolor paint.   After the panel dried, I adhered it to my card base.  I attached all the images with foam tape for some added dimension.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful day!

Hugs, Anita

Sending Holiday Hugs - Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge 14

Good afternoon crafty friends!  I have a Christmas card to share with you today and I've used an adorable image from my favorite ETSY shop - LTTS Doodles!

I've been trying to work on Christmas cards throughout 2023 so I can build up my stash and not panic when November rolls around.  I enjoy playing along in the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge because it motivates me to make at least one Christmas card!  The theme for for their February challenge is to add at least one heart.  I diecut a stitched rectangle and sponged it with Pumice Stone, Tumbled Glass, and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Inks.  I spattered the panel with white gouache and once it was dry I stamped a sentiment and adhered the panel to my card front.  This cute image is from the Coffee Break stamp set and there are several different cups and bunnies to choose from.  I printed the image on Neenah cardstock, colored it with copics, and fussy cut it.  I used a white gel pen on the bunny's eyes and cheeks and added a few tiny heart embellishments to coffee cup.  I adhered the images with foam tape to give some added dimension to this clean and simple card.

Copics:

Bunny - E53, E51, E50; R20, R00

Bow - R59, R39, R37, R32

Cup - C5, B39, B37, B34; R39, R37, R35

Coffee - E59, E57, E55

Heart - R35, R32, R30

There's still time to play along in the challenge and the prize for one lucky winner is three items from the LTTS Doodles Etsy Shop!

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a fantastic day!

You Make Every Day Merry

Good morning crafty friends!  Today I'm sharing a Christmas card with products from My Favorite Things

This adorable fox is from the Freezin' Season stamp set.  I colored him with copics and then diecut him with the coordinating die-namics.  I stamped a panel of bristol card with the Snowflake Flurry Background stamp and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  I sponged the panel with Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Prize Ribbon, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Inks and adhered it to my red card base.  I diecut the Stacked Merry Die-namic several times and glued the diecut words with liquid glue.  I adhered the large sentiment to my card.  I heat-embossed a sentiment from the BB Holiday Penguins stamp set and adhered the sentiment and fox to my card with foam tape.

Thanks for stopping by!

Sending You All The Feels

Good morning and happy Friday crafty friends!  Today I've got a sweet card featuring a new clear stamp set by Streamside Studios!

These cute images are from the Yeti Yeti Yeti stamp set and the sentiment is from the new All The Feels stamp set.  You can find both of these sets in the Streamside Studios Etsy Shop.  I diecut three small hearts from a 4.25" x 5.5" panel of white cardstock.  On the base of my card (behind the heart cut-outs) I sponged Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Inks.  I adhered the diecut panel to my card with foam tape to add some dimension to my card.

I colored the yeti and balloons with copics and fussy-cut them.  I added some highlights with a white gel pen and adhered them directly to my card.  I heat-embossed the sentiment and adhered it under the yeti's feet so that it appears she's standing on the sentiment.

Copics:

Balloon - BG15, BG23, BG11, G000
