Sending You Flurries of Warm Wishes

Good morning!  Today I'm sharing another card I made as a guest designer for Pink & Main.

These beautiful snowflakes and the sentiment are from the Flurries set.  I cut a panel of Bristol paper and stamped the snowflakes with Versamark ink.  I used white embossing powder and heat embossed the snowflakes.  Next I sponged distress oxide inks in Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio, flicked on water, and then dried the panel with a paper towel.  I stamped the sentiment on a strip of vellum and heat embossed it also.  I wrapped the ends of the vellum around the Bristol panel before adhering it to my cardbase.  Lastly, I added a few sequins to give the card a little bit of sparkle.  This set includes so many pretty snowflakes so be sure to stop by the shop and check it out!

Thank you for stopping by!  I hope you have a fabulous week!

Hugs, Anita

Mrs Claus

Good morning!  As I mentioned earlier this month, I'm doing some guest design work for Pink & Main and I have another fun Christmas card to share.

These sweet stamps are from the Nice List set.  There are other images included in this set so be sure to stop by the shop and check it out!  I colored Mrs Claus and her little elf with copics and then diecut them using the coordinating Nice List Dies.  I used a black glaze pen on Mrs Claus' eyes and added Glossy Accents to her glasses.  I added some Glamour Dust to their hats and the elf's lollipop.  I adhered all the images with foam tape for some added dimension.  The pretty striped paper is from the Jolly 6x6 paper pad.  I finished my card by adding a few enamel dots.

Happy Holidays

Good morning!  I hope you had a fabulous weekend.  Today I'm sharing a card featuring a sweet little image from Love Cynthia.

I love the Happy Holidays stamp set ... the images are adorable and there are lots of cute girls to choose from.  The images are on the smaller side so they are perfect for planners but they're still large enough to use on cards too!  I colored this sweet snowgirl with copics and then fussy cut her.  I used a black glaze pen on all the eyes and the snowgirl's buttons.  I sponged distress oxide inks (Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers) onto Bristol paper, flicked water, and then dried the paper with a towel.  I added a diecut snowflake frame and then adhered the snowgirl with foam tape.  The sentiment was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  I added a few small clear sequins for a little bit of sparkle.  Be sure to stop by the Love Cynthia shop because she has tons of adorable stamp sets available!

Copics Used:
Skin - E13, E11, E21, E00, E000, R20, R00

Cozy Christmas Wishes

Good morning!  I hope your weekend is off to a great start.  Today I'm sharing a Christmas card using some digital designs from Skogstokiga Digital Stamps & Art.

I first noticed these adorable images over on Instagram.  Petra Maria is a Swedish artist and she creates these sweet digis and sells them through her blog.  You can also find her on Instagram at Skogstokiga_Design.  The little girl is "Digi Christmas Girl With Gingerbread" and the boy is "Digi Boy With Santa Claus Gingerbread and Lantern".  Note that these are the English translations for the names of these two digis.  I colored these cute children with copics and then fussy cut them.  To create my background, I sponged distress inks, flicked water, and then dried the water to create the lighter spots.  I used white acrylic paint thinned with a little bit of water and flicked that on the background to create the "snow".  I cut the snowbank using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Border die.  I used a white gel pen to add some white highlights and then popped up the boy and girl using foam tape.  Be sure to stop by Petra Maria's blog to see more of her adorable images!

Copics Used:
Skin - E13, E11, E21, E00, E000, R20

Warm Wishes To Deer Friends

Good morning!  I hope you're having a great week so far.  Today I'm sharing a Christmas card I made using some stamps and dies from The Greeting Farm.

These adorable images are from the Dashing stamp set.  I love the reindeer in this set - they are so cute!  I cut a panel of watercolor paper and painted the sky and snow using distress inks.  I spattered some water and dried the panel, then spattered some white acrylic paint.  I also used distress inks to watercolor the trees and spattered them with paint.  The deer and gifts were all stamped on Neenah and colored with copics.  I used the coordinating Dashing die cuts to cut out all the images.  I used a black glaze pen on the deer's eyes and then adhered the images with foam tape.  I added a few diecut snowflakes that I coated with Glamour Dust.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a great day!

Hugs, Anita
