Hello friends!  We have a new challenge that starts today over on the 7KCF Challenge Blog and our challenge is "anything goes".

Today is the last day of previews before our big release day! It’s almost time for you to buy up this new release! If you are like me, then I know you are waiting in anticipation for these to go live in the TGF Store so you can purchase them before they sell out!

Today, we are showcasing a CUTE new set called OA Special Delivery. I mean seriously…could there be any cuter couple than Oliver and Amelia? LOVE these two!!

My first card features Amelia - isn't she just the sweetest?  She's colored with copics and I've used some cute papers from Doodlebug Design.  I added a doily, a bow, and a little heart banner to finish my card.  The sentiment is included in this stamp set!

My second card features Oliver - another cutie!  Again I've used my copics for coloring and teamed him up with some fun papers from Pebbles.  I simply used some twine and a heart button to embellish my card.  This sentiment is also part of this fabulous new stamp set!

Stop by the TGF Blog to see what the other designers are sharing today!  Tomorrow will be our big Blog Hop for RELEASE DAY!! One lucky commenter who completes the hop will win the entire January Release!

SugarPea Designs - Happy Holidays

Good morning everyone!  Are you ready for Santa?  I have some gifts to wrap, but other than that I think I'm ready for the chubby guy's visit ;-)   I love making tags for gifts and I have a couple to share with you today.

It seems that everyone is creating distress ink backgrounds so I thought I would give it a try.  I cut the tags using the Sugar Cuts - Gift Tag die from SugarPea Designs.  I masked off the bottom of the tags and then applied several shades of blue distress ink.  Then I flicked tiny drops of water over the ink.  The water causes the ink to move, which creates the "splotchy" look you see above.  I love this effect, but I think I need some more practice.  I chose to use the trees from the Merry Christmoose set and the snowman from the Frosty Friends set.  I colored them with copics and applied some Glamour Dust to the snowman.  The stars on the trees and the sentiment banners are also from the Gift Tag - Sugar Cuts Die.  The trees and snowman are popped up on foam for dimension.  I added a bit of ribbon and twine to finish off my tags.

My favorite local papercrafting store is The Paper Cottage.  Last month they had their Christmas Open House and one of their make-n-take projects was a gift bag very similar to this.  I needed a few quick & easy gift bags and decided to use their design to create my bags.  I stamped the sentiment from the Lost Without You stamp set.  I used the Layered Treat Labels and Sweet Treats - Christmas stamp sets from SugarPea Designs.  I used the Layered Treat Label - Sugar Cuts Die to cut the label and then tied the label to the bag using some ribbon.

Your Next Stamp - December Feature Day

Good morning!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  Today is Feature Day over on the Your Next Stamp Blog, which means that the team is sharing some new samples featuring the YNS stamps and dies.

Once again I reached for the Sweet Holiday Greetings clear stamp set.  I love this set and I've reached for it many times while making Christmas cards and tags this year.  I colored these little gingerbread and the heart cookie with copics and colored pencils and cut them out using the Sweet Holiday Greetings die set.  I added some glitter, sequins, and red ribbon to finish my CAS card.

Be sure to stop by the Your Next Stamp Blog to see what the rest of the DT is sharing today.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you have a great day!

Hugs, Anita

( ** Please scroll down for my SugarPea Designs post **)

Hello friends!  We have a new challenge that starts today over on the 7KCF Challenge Blog and our challenge is "anything goes", with an optional twist of "Christmas".

I used the Sweet Holiday Greetings stamp set from Your Next Stamp to make this CAS Christmas card.  I have used this adorable set a lot this holiday season!  I colored the images with copics and then cut them out using the coordinating Sweet Holiday Greetings die set.  My papers are from the Santa Express 6x6 Paper Pad from Doodlebug.

SPD012 - Anything Goes

Happy Wednesday everyone!  We have a new challenge over on the SugarPea Designs Blog.  The challenge is "anything goes" ... can't get much easier than that, right?

Since I'm still in the Christmas-crafting mode, I decided to make a couple of mini gift bags.  These little bags will hold a gift card and maybe a few yummy chocolates too.  I used the Sweet Treats - Christmas and Layered Treat Labels stamp sets and red ink to make the tags for these bags.  Then I cut all the tags out using the Sugar Cuts Layered Treat Labels die.  I punched a couple of holes in the tops of the bags and used some seam binding tied in a bow to close the bags.  Now go grab your favorite stamps (we hope they're SugarPea Designs, but they don't have to be) and make a project to enter into our challenge.

We only have a few rules -

- Play along with any stamp you'd like.  Winner is chosen at random to keep things fair, but if the winner's projects features a SugarPea Designs stamp we will increase the voucher to $15
- Feel free to combine our challenge with any other challenge(s)
- Upload to your blog or other online gallery using keyword: SPD012 so we can easily find your work
- Add your name and link to your card or project in the InLinkz on the SugarPea Designs Blog

SugarPea Designs' Sweet 2 Repeat Blog Hop

( ** Please scroll down for my Your Next Stamp post ** )

Welcome to the SugarPea Designs December Sweet 2 Repeat blog hop where we showcase our newest release! Now that you've had a chance to add these sweet sets to your SugarPea collection, we're bringing you even more inspiration!

I used Lost Without You from our Sugar Snap Collection.  I absolutely adore this little shepherd!  Rather than making a card, I decided to frame this little sweetie.  I picked up an inexpensive wood frame from a local craft shop and used Mod Podge to adhere the dp.  I then stamped the sentiment on the covered frame.  I used copics and colored pencils to color the image and fussy cut it.  I used pop dots to adhere him to the background dp.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  Be sure to hop along and leave a comment at each stop along the way for a chance to win $20 to spend in the SugarPea Designs Online Shoppe!

Your Next Stamp - Fun Friday Challenge

I used these adorable gingerbread from the Sweet Holiday Greetings clear stamp set.  I love this stamp set and I've used it to make lots of my holiday cards this year.  I colored these cuties with copics and colored pencils and then used the coordinating Sweet Holiday Greetings Die Set to cut them out.  I added a few gumdrops and used a glitter pen on the bows and buttons.

7KCF & Your Next Stamp

( ** Please scroll down for my Your Next Stamp post ** )

Good afternoon everyone!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for the 7KCF Blog.

7KCF is now carrying Your Next Stamp products so I chose the adorable Waddles - Snow Fun! clear stamp set for my card today.  I colored the image with copics and then used the coordinating Waddles - Snow Fun! Die Set to cut out the image.  I love that stamp companies offer the coordinating dies - it makes life so much easier lol!  I wanted a subtle dp so that the cute image would be the focal point, so I chose to use the Believe 6x6 paper pad from Authentique.  I added a few sequins to give the card some sparkle.

 Product from the 7KCF Store:

Waddles - Snow Fun! Clear Stamp Set from Your Next Stamp
Waddles - Snow Fun! Die Set from Your Next Stamp

I used the adorable Little Darling January for my card today.  I love this sweet little girl with her penguin!  I colored the images with copics and then fussy cut them.  I used a sentiment from the stamp set and added some sequins to create a shaker card.  I cut the snowdrift using the Forest Friends Scene Die Set.  There are lots of must-have dies in this set so be sure to check it out!

Happy hump day!  I'm so happy that we're halfway through this week -- I'm anxious for Friday to roll around!  I've had this Christmas card made for awhile now and thought I'd pop on here and share it today.

This is Art Impressions' Christmas To All stamp set.  I adore snowmen and had lots of fun coloring this one!  I colored him with copics and colored pencils and then used my Wink of Stella clear glitter pen to add some sparkle (which doesn't really show in the picture).  The cute sentiment is also part of this stamp set.  I added a few snowflakes and some shiny sequins.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!

SPDSS17 - From Our Home To Yours

Good morning everyone! We are starting a new sketch challenge today over on the SugarPea Designs Blog!

I used the trees and igloo from the Have An ICE Day clear stamp set.  This awesome set is from our 2014 Holiday Release!  Take a peek at the photo below and you'll see all the fabulous images that come in this set!  First I cut the tag from the Gift Tag - Sugar Cuts Die and stamped the trees on the tag.  Then I fussy cut the igloo and popped it with pop dots.  I added some Glamour Dust to the ground snow and the igloo for a frosty look.  My papers are from the Warm & Cozy 6x6 paper pad from Carta Bella.

The rules are simple:
