Paper Smooches - Anything Cold

Good afternoon!  Today I have a card featuring a chubby snowman from Paper Smooches.

This adorable snowman is from the Warm Hearts stamp set.  I've had this stamp set forever and I still love created clean and simple cards with it!  I sponged distress oxide inks on Bristol card and then diecut it using a stitched rectangle die.  I also stamped the snowflakes using the distress oxide ink.  I diecut a snow slope and sponged distress ink along the top.  I stamped the sentiment on the snow slope and added some Glamour Dust to the edge to make it look frosty.  I colored the snowman and bird with copics and diecut them using the coordinating dies.  I added some Glamour Dust to the snowman and applied Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the heart. I used a black glaze pen on the snowman's eyes and mouth and then adhered him and the bird with foam tape.

I'm entering my card in the Paper Smooches Challenge where the theme is Anything Cold.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Paper Smooches - Hey Sugar!

Good morning!  I hope you're having an amazing week so far.  I used a fun set of stamps and dies from Paper Smooches to make this card.

This cute popsicle stamp is from the Sugar Rush set - lots of fun, sweet images in this set!  I colored the popsicles with copics ... not much coloring required though so that was quick & easy.  After I colored the images I cut them out using the Sugar Rush Icons Dies and then added some Wink of Stella clear glitter pen to them.  I made a round card using some dies from Spellbinders and My Favorite Things.  The bright striped paper and sparkly enamel dots are from Doodlebug Design.

I'm entering my card in the Paper Smooches July Challenge - their challenge this month is "summer" so be sure to check out their challenge details.

Thanks for stopping by!

My Coolest Friend

Good morning.  Are you ready for Christmas yet?  I've still got a couple of little stocking stuffers to pick up but otherwise I am done!  I even have most of the wrapping done, which is not like me at all.  I'm usually rushing to get everything wrapped and under the tree on Christmas eve.  Anyway, I thought I'd share another card I made using a fun Paper Smooches stamp and die set.

These frosty friends are from the Paper Smooches' Swanky Snowdudes clear stamp set.  It has lots of really cute snowmen and sentiments.  There's not much coloring required but I did use my copics and then cut them out using the coordinating die.  I added some Glamour Dust to the snowbanks and a few sparkly sequins.  If you're in my local area you can find all the supplies to make this card at The Paper Cottage.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful day!

Hugs, Anita

You Make My Heart Melt

Good evening!  We really haven't had much in the way of summer weather until the last few days ... geez, has it been HOT!  And so what was I up to?  Making a snowman card ;-)

I absolutely love snowmen so this was a fun card to make.  Super easy too!  I inked up the snowman and some hearts from the Paper Smooches' Warm Hearts stamp set and colored him with copics.  There wasn't much to color, just his nose, heart and a little shading.  Then I added some Glamour Dust for some sparkle.  The hearts are actually red but they look really dark in this picture.  Prettier IRL, I promise ;-)  I used the Warm Hearts Icons Dies to cut the snowman and hearts and the Tag Stitched Die for the tag.  I added a bow with baker's twine and my card was done!

Paper Smooches - Sugar Rush

Good morning stamping friends!  I hope you're having a great week so far.  I have a CAS card featuring a sweet image from Paper Smooches.

Doesn't this image just scream summer?  This is just one of many images included in the Sugar Rush clear stamp set.  I love Paper Smooches stamps for making quick and easy cards.  There wasn't much coloring required but I did use my copics for coloring and then I used the coordinating new Sugar Rush Icons Dies to cut out the drink.  I also added a little bit of Glamour Dust to the orange drink to make it look frosty ... doesn't really show up in the photo but looks great on the card.  The fun papers are from Doodlebug Design.  I'm entering this card in the Paper Smooches June Anything Goes (Week 3) Challenge.

Paper Smooches - You Make Life Sweet

Good morning!  I hope you're having an amazing week so far.  I used a fun set of stamps and dies from Paper Smooches to make today's card.

These fun images are from the Sugar Rush set.  This set was so much fun to play with!  I colored the images with copics ... not much coloring required though so that was quick & easy.  After I colored the images I cut them out using the new Sugar Rush Icons Dies.  I paper-pieced the cupcake liner and added some Wink of Stella clear glitter pen to the frosting.  I fussy-cut the little cherry and added Glossy Accents for some shine.  I added Glossy Accents to the drink and also to the sundae glass.  I also used my Wink of Stella on the popsicle for some sparkle so that it looks like it's "frosty".  Then I used Liquid Applique on the sundae.  I've made lots of cards with this fun set so you'll be seeing them pop up on my blog over the next couple of weeks.

Paper Smooches - Party Pals

Good morning everyone!  Today I'm sharing a card using an adorable image from Paper Smooches

This cute little duo is called Party Pals.  I couldn't find them on the Paper Smooches website so I'm thinking that maybe they're out of stock.  But they have lots of other sweet critters so be sure to stop by here and check them out.  I colored these animals with copics and then used Glossy Accents on the bunny's teeth.  I also used my Wink of Stella clear glitter pen on the balloon to give it some sparkle.  The sentiment is from the Paper Smooches' Sugar Rush stamp set.  I'm entering this card in the Paper Smooches May Designer Drafts Challenge.

A Chubby Little Snowman

Hello friends.  I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  Did you brave the crowds for the Black Friday sales?  I took advantage of some of the sales that were online.  No crowds and I found lots of fabulous places to spend my money ;)

Today I have another card using the Warm Hearts stamp set by Paper Smooches.  I love this set.  It's great for making some fast and easy Christmas cards.  I colored the snowman and trees with copics and colored pencils and added some Glamour Dust for sparkle.  A bow and some blue gems finish off my card.  The bow isn't bulky so I think this card can be mailed without having to pay for extra postage - yay!  The yummy paper I used is by Lilybeedesign and I love this pad.

Thank you for stopping by.  Have a great day and try to stay warm!

You Make My Heart Melt

Hello friends.  Recently a new shop, The Paper Cottage, opened in my area.  The owner, Brenda, has been a scrapper and cardmaker for years and finally decided to open her own shop!  Anyhow, Brenda carries the adorable Paper Smooches stamps and I made some samples for her shop.

I used the Warm Hearts stamp set for this card.  As you can see, this cute little frosty fella requires minimal coloring so it's a fast and easy card.  I did add some Glamour Dust to the snowman and the snowflake cause you know I love my sparkle!  The sentiment is part of the stamp set too.  The paper is Winter Fun by Carta Bella - love the patterns and the blue/brown colors.  I used My Favorite Things Dienamics - Fishtail Flags Layers Stax to cut the banner.

Just so you know, The Paper Cottage, is having a Holiday Open House on Saturday, November 24.  There will be snacks, holiday ideas, and some special discounts that day.  If you are in the area, be sure to stop by - I know you'll love the shop.  Brenda will be celebrating her birthday that day, so be sure to tell her Happy Birthday!

Thank you for stopping by.  Have a wonderful weekend and stay warm :-D

Hugs, Anita
