Pets Make Life Sweeter

Good morning!  Today I'm sharing a card using stamps by My Favorite Things.

This adorable image is from the BB New Best Friend stamp set.  I followed the MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #437 for my design.  I used distress inks in various colors and sponged circles on my card.  I colored the image with copics and diecut it.  I used a black glaze pen on the girl's and kitty's eyes and then I added polka dots to her dress and shoes using a white gel pen.  I adhered the image with foam tape.  I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder and adhered it to my card with foam tape.

Copics Used:
Skin - E13, E11, E21, E00, E000, R20
Hair - E47, E25, E23, E21
Dress and Shoes - RV66, RV55, RV63, BG09, BG05, BG01

Create A Smile Stamps Challenge - Masking

** Scroll down for The Greeting Farm Blog Hop **

Good morning!  We have a new challenge today over on the Create A Smile Stamps Blog.

Our new challenge is "Masking". I used stamps from the Cart Full Of Treasures stamp set.  I stamped the images on my card and also stamped them onto masking paper.  I fussy-cut the masking paper and then applied the masks over the stamped images.  I used distress inks and stencils to sponge grass and clouds over the stamped images.  I removed the masks and colored the stamped images with my copics.  I used a black glaze pen on the koalas' eyes and I applied Nuvo Crystal Glaze to their noses.  I used a white gel pen to add highlights.

I hope you find some time to play along in the challenge.  The winner receives a gift card to the shop!  You can find all the challenge details on the Create A Smile Blog.  If you don't currently own any Create A Smile stamps, you can use a freebie from their blog!

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful day!

We are so excited to introduce dies back to the store and the 2 sets, HI/HELLO and THANK YOU, are sure to be a great addition to your collection. Sending Hugs

Good evening friends!  I'm sharing a card I made using Honey Bee Stamps.

This adorable group of critter friends is from the Forest Friends stamp set.  This stamp set was gifted to me by my sweet friend Von Marie (vonmariedesign on IG).   I stamped the image on Neenah cardstock and then placed a mask over it.  I used a stencil to apply Distress Oxide Inks on the card front.  I removed the mask, colored the images with copics, and used a black glaze pen on the critter's eyes.  The sentiment is from the Warm Wishes stamp set. I diecut the panel with a stitched rectangle die and adhered it to a pink cardbase using foam tape.  I'm entering my card in the Honey Bee Stamps Buzzworthy Challenge #28 on facebook - the challenge is Mother's Day.

Copics used:
Bear - E33, E31, E30, E50; E01, E000; 100
