Good morning!  I've got a Halloween card featuring a cute stamp set from Your Next Stamp.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs, Anita

The Greeting Farm - Preview Day 3

Good morning and welcome to Day 3 of The Greeting Farm's previews of the new July release!  If you have some birthdays or other special occasions to celebrate, then the stamp we're sharing today is perfect!

These sweeties are from the Make A Wish clear stamp set.  Yummy, right?  I decided to pull out the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color these images.  I love the bright colors you get with these markers.  After I finished coloring the frosting I wasn't crazy about the green but hey ... I'm sure it "tastes" as good as the other colors ;-)  I cut out all the pieces with the Make A Wish die set (I love that TGF is now offering dies with their images)!  I added some Wink of Stella clear glitter pen to the frosting and used Glossy Accents on the strawberries and cherries.

Be sure to stop by the TGF Blog to see what the other designers are sharing today!  Our big Blog Hop for RELEASE DAY is this Wednesday, July 15 so be sure to mark your calendars cause you don't want to miss it!

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Enjoy your day!

Have A Ball!

Good morning friends!  I hope you're having an amazing weekend so far.  I picked up a new Lawn Fawn stamp at my local shop, The Paper Cottage, a couple of days ago and found some time to play yesterday.

This sweet (pun intended) stamp is called Sweet Smiles and it was so much fun to color.  I used my new Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and water to color the image.  I love the bright colors these markers offer and I think they are so easy to use.  I colored a few extra gumballs and cut them out using the Sweet Smiles - Lawn Cuts die.  I had planned to use Glossy Accents on the glass bowl of the gumball machine.  Fortunately I tested the Glossy Accents on an extra gumball I had stamped and colored.  Since this ink reactivates (is that the right word?) when it gets wet, the GA made the ink run a little.  Since I had so many different colors of gumballs I thought I might end up with a hot mess if I used the GA so I decided not to use it.  I will definitely have to color another image with copics and try out the Glossy Accents on it - I think it would look great shiny.    I did use some Wink of Stella on the gray parts of the machine to try to give it more of a "metallic" look.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies from Your Next Stamp to cut my dp and the white watercolor paper.  I love the finished edge this die gives to the paper.

Thank you for stopping by.

Hugs, Anita

It's A Good Day

Happy Saturday!  I hope you're enjoying your weekend ... and I hope you're having some amazing weather.  Once again, we've got rain, cloudy skies, and cooler than normal temps ... yuck!  Summer, where are you LOL?

Well, this cute bunny and her yummy cupcakes helped brighten up my soggy day ;-)  I've had this Carnival Cupcakes stamp set from Mama Elephant for  awhile now and finally got to play with it.  I also have some (new to me) Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens and that's what I used to color this stamp.  I've heard both good and not-so-good comments about these pens but I have to say I really like them ... a lot!  I love the bright colors of these pens and I think they're so easy to use.  Of course, having this adorable image to color makes it fun too.  The sentiment is from the Up And Away stamp set.  If you want more details on the products I used on my card, check out the small print at the bottom of my post.

Thanks for stopping by.  Enjoy your day!

Hugs, Anita

Your Next Stamp - Fun Friday Sketch and Color Challenge #17

Happy Friday everyone!  I hope you've had an amazing week!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for our latest Fun Friday Sketch and Color Challenge over on the Your Next Stamp Blog.

Isn't this butterfly fun?   It's from the new Quirky Animals Set Five clear stamp set.  If you look at the photo of the stamp set below, you'll see there are two adorable butterfly images and lots of great sentiments!  I colored the butterfly with my Zig Clear Color Real Brushes and a Wink of Stella clear glitter pen.  These Zig brushes are new to me and I've really been having fun with them.  I cut the butterfly using the coordinating Quirky Animals Set Five Dies and then applied some Glossy Accents to the sunglasses.   I used the Stitched Rectangle Die Set and the Stitched Square Die Set to cut the white cardstock.  I used the Chunky Grass Die to cut the grass and then stamped the sentiment on the grass.  I used some Neon Sunrise and Mermaid Fun gumdrops to finish my card.
