Oh So Merry

Good morning!  I'm sharing a Christmas card using both new and older stamps from Paperie Ink.  They have lots of new stamps in the shop so if you haven't checked them out recently, stop by their shop -- you won't be disappointed!

The sleigh and reindeer are from the new Santa Here stamp set and the trees are from the Happy Holi-yay stamp set.  I cut a piece of navy cardstock to 3.75" x 8.5 " and inked the edges with Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink.  I heat-embossed the sentiment and then spattered the ight sky with white paint.

I diecut two snowy slopes, inked the edges with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink, and adhered them to the card.  I stamped all the images, ran them through my ScanNCut, and then colored them with copics.  I added some silver cord behind the sleigh and reindeer and then adhered all the images with foam tape for dimension.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a wonderful week!

Guest Designing for Evelin T Designs

Hello friends!  I'm so excited to be guest designing for Evelin T Designs!  I have two cards to share with you today.

For my first card I used the cute snowman and mice from the Good Tidings To You stamp set.  I cut a panel of watercolor paper and used Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet Distress Inks to make an inky background.  I spattered water drops and once the panel was dry I heat-embossed some snowflakes.

I adhered a scalloped frame and snowy slope with foam tape.  I colored the snowman and mice with copics and then fussy-cut them.  I used a white gel pen to add polka-dots to the snowman's scarf.  I applied Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the snowman's nose and buttons and adhered the images with foam tape.

For my second card I used some cute animals from the Coffee Loving Critters stamp set.  I diecut a panel from bristol and sponged it with Picked Raspbeerry Distress Oxide Ink.  I added a strip of pattern paper and black cardstock along the bottom edge of my card to ground the animals.

I colored the animals with copics, fussy-cut them, and adhered them to my card with foam tape.  I used a black glaze pen on their eyes and noses.  I heat-embossed a sentiment on black cardstock and also adhered it with foam tape.

Oh So Merry

Good morning!  I'm sharing a Christmas card using a new stamp set from Paperie Ink.  If you haven't checked out their latest stamp and die release be sure to stop by their shop -- you won't be disappointed!

These adorable bears are from the new So Merry stamp set and the diecut trees are from the Slimline Forest Scene Die.  The bird and mistletoe are from earlier Paperie Ink stamp sets.  I used the Slimline Forest Scene Die die to cut six trees;  I shaded three of the trees with my copics and glued two layers together to make the trees more substantial.  I sponged Peacock Feathers and Blueprint Sketch distress inks on bristol card and spattered it with thinned acrylic paint.  Once dry, I stamped the sentiment and adhered the trees.

I diecut a snowy slope from white cardstock and sponged the top edge with Peacock Feathers.  I adhered the slope to my card with foam tape.  I diecut a stitched rectangle frame from white cardstock and adhered it to my card.  I colored all the images with copics and adhered them to my card with foam tape.

It's Beginning To Look Like Christmas

Good morning everyone!  I'm sharing a Christmas card using a new stamp set from Paperie Ink.  Paperie Ink just released six new fall and Christmas sets along with an amazing Slimline Forest Scene Die.  If you haven't seen them yet, be sure to stop by their shop and check them out.

These adorable images are from the new Like Christmas set.  I used the Slimline Forest Scene Die die to cut two scenes from white cardstock.  I shaded the trees on one of the diecuts with my copics and then glued the two layers together.  I sponged Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot Distress Oxide Inks on bristol card and spattered it with thinned acrylic paint.  Once dry, I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment.  I diecut a snowy slope and adhered it directly to my card.  Next, I used foam tape to adhere the Slimline Forest Scene Die to my card.

I stamped the images on Neenah cardstock, fussy-cut them, and colored them with my copics.  I used a black glaze pen on the critter eyes and noses, and I used a Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen on the tree bow and ornaments.  I applied Glamour Dust to the stocking cuffs and the bird's hat, and applied Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the candy canes.  I added silver string to the tops of the stockings so they could "hang" on the trees.  I adhered all the images with foam tape for dimension.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Fun-Loving Critters

Hello friends!  I'm so excited to be guest designing for Evelin T Designs!  I have two cards to share with you today.

For my first card I used the adorable Fun In The Snow stamp set.  This set includes lots of sweet ice-skating penguins and bears, making it perfect for both Christmas and winter cards.

I made a slimline card that measures 3.5" x 8.5".  I sponged bristol card with Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire, and black Soot distress inks to create my night sky.  I spattered it with thinned acrylic paint and then adhered it to my card front.  I cut a snowy slope from white cardstock, inked the top of the slope with Blueprint Sketch, and adhered it to my card.

I cut a pond and added some Peacock Feathers and Blueprint Sketch distress inks to give it a frosty look.  I adhered the pond to my card with foam tape.  I colored the ice-skaters with copics and used a black glaze pen on their eyes and noses.

I used a white gel pen to add polka-dots and stripes to the scarves and earmuffs.  I adhered the skaters with foam tape, along with a sentiment from the stamp set.

For my second card I used the Take A Leap Of Faith stamp set.  I just love the cute animals jumping on the trampoline.

I stenciled clouds on the front of my card with distress ink.  I sponged ink on bristol card, cut it with a grass die, and stamped one of the sentiments from the stamp set.  I adhered the grass with foam tape.  I colored the trampoline, animals, and clouds with copics and adhered them with foam tape.

Let Our Hearts Be Full

Good morning everyone!  I'm sharing a preview of one of the new Paperie Ink stamp sets that will be released on October 10th!

These adorable images are from the new Many Thanks stamp set.  The die is also part of the new release.  These stamps and die will be available in the shop on October 10th, along with five other new stamp sets.  This set is perfect for all your fall and Thanksgiving cards.

I used the die to cut the tree scene from brown cardstock.  I sponged distress inks on bristol card and spattered it with water.  Once dry, I stamped one of the sentiments from the new set and adhered the tree scene.  I colored all the images with copics and used a black glaze pen on the critters' noses and eyes.  I fussy-cut the images and adhered them to the card with foam tape.

I sponged some distress inks on bristol and diecut the leaves using the die that's part of the tree scene die set.  I adhered those to the trees, along with a few on the ground.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful week!

Hugs, Anita
