Happiness Is Knowing You

Hello sweet friends.  I hope you've had an enjoyable weekend.  As I write this post I'm looking out the window to see more snow falling.  We're expecting to get anywhere from 4 to 8 inches of snow by tomorrow evening.  Spring is just around the corner ... right?

Well, I thought this image would bring visions of warmer weather lol!  This little sweetie is Maxie With Snow Cone and I think she's such a cutie.  She's one of Lori's newer releases and you can find her in the By LORi Designs digi shop.  She's colored with copics and colored pencils and I added some Glamour Dust on the snowcone so that it sparkles like ice.    A ribbon and a button are my only embellishments.  While looking around Facebook earlier today I saw that the Sunday Showcase over on Designed to Color is ... one layer cards.  Well, I almost NEVER make one layer cards so I thought I would give it a go.  I have to say I kind of like the way it turned out :)

Thanks for stopping by and stay warm!

Happy Thursday friends!  I have another beautiful Sylvia Zet image to share with you today.

This adorable image is Love You Slow Much.  That's right ... Sylvia has delighted us with a new beautiful Peggy image!  And this time Peggy has a sweet and huggable snail friend.  I know snails aren't usually something you would call sweet but this one is ... I love his little bowtie.  I colored these friends with copics and colored pencils and added Glamour Dust to her wings.  I used some Glossy Accents on the snail's nose and added some Liquid Pearl dots around the image.  The digital image is available in Sylvia's shop here and you can find the rubber stamp here.  Be sure to stop by Sylvia Zet's Blog to see what Mariska and the other guest designers are sharing today.

Hello friends!  As you may recall, I am one of the guest designers for Wee Stamps this month and I'm here to share one of Sylvia Zet's gorgeous new images.

This cutie patootie is Birthday Baby Boy and don't you just love his sweet little face?  And those cute little pj's he's wearing?  And that little mouse friend of his?  OK, so can you tell I love this new image lol?  I colored him with copics and colored pencils and used some Glamour Dust on the cake frosting.  I also added some Liquid Pearls around the image.  I tried to keep my embellishments fairly simple so that the focus would be on the gorgeous image.  This image is available here as a digital image, here as a rubber stamp, and here as a topper.  Be sure to visit Sylvia Zet's Blog to see what the other guest designers created ... I know you will be inspired!

You're Beautiful

Good morning to all of you.  Today I'm sharing a card that required no coloring.  That's right ... no copics, no colored pencils, no distress inks!

As much as I love coloring, it's nice to be able to occasionally make a quick and easy card without coloring.  This clean and simple card features one of the newer clear stamp/die sets from The Greeting Farm - Mini Flutters with Die Clear Stamps.  I ink distressed all my papers and then added some WOC flowers and pearls to my butterflies.  A bit of lace and some crinkled seam binding finished my card.  I got the inspiration for this card from one that I saw a while back on pinterest.  I thought I had pinned that card but now I can't find it on my boards.  So if any one you know the orginal artist, please leave me a note and I'll link to her blog :)

Thank you for stopping by!

Inspiration Tuesday

( ** Please scroll down for my TGF and ATS posts ** )

Hello!  Today is a busy day on my blog but this is the last post for today :)  Since it's Tuesday, we're sharing some inspiration over on the By LORi Designs Blog.

I used this sweet little Puddle Jumper Maxie (Two) which can be found here.  She's colored with copics and colored pencils.  I wanted to color Maxie in some bright, fun colors so I thought this paper by Doodlebug Design would be perfect for her.   I added a polka-dot bow with a button and then diecut the letters to add to my card.  A very quick and easy card but I think it would be a perfect card to let someone know you're thinking of them!  Be sure to visit the By LORi Designs Blog to see what the rest of the dt is sharing this week.  I know their projects will bring a smile to your face!

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful day.

A Pot Of Gold

Good morning to all of you.  Some of us are sharing some "anything but a card" projects over on the All That Scraps Blog.

So this is my interpretation of a leprechaun's pot of gold lol!  I picked up this little bucket quite awhile back in the Target $ bin.  I really wanted to fill it with gold foil-wrapped chocolate "coins" but I could not find those gold coins anywhere!  It's like my local stores skipped right over the St Patty's Day candy and went straight to Easter candy :(  Anyway, the cute leprechaun is from the Meoples Lucky Rainbow Rubber Stamps.  He's colored with copics and colored pencils.  I cut him out and matted him with my nestabilities and then tied the tag onto the bucket handle.  Be sure to stop by the All That Scraps Blog to see what the rest of the DT is sharing today.

Thanks for stopping by.

Good morning friends.  I hope you're having a wonderful weekend.  I have a Sugar Nellie card to share today.

This adorable fairy is called Pippi Longsocks and you can find her at Funky Kits.  I think this fairy is just the sweetest, and don't you love her little froggy friend?  She's colored with copics and colored pencils and has lots of Glamour Dust on her wings.  Really, all fairies need sparkly wings, right?  I've used some new Prima papers called Fairy Rhymes, which I just love.  And I've been seeing my friend Vicky use the gorgeous heart dies on her card and I finally managed to find the die at my LSS ... yay!  I also added a new branch die, punched flower, seam binding, and pearls.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hello again!  Today is Inspiration Tuesday over on the By LORi Designs Blog and I have a new card to share with you.

I used the adorable Lollipop Saylor 3 on my card ... isn't she a sweetie?  I colored her with copics and colored pencils and then fussy cut her.  I have been collecting washi tape for a while now.  I pull it out and look at it and then stick it back in a drawer lol!  I finally decided I needed to actually USE the tape.  So, a few strips of washi and a few buttons and my card was done.  Does it look naked to me?  Yes ... but I do like the simple design!  I think I may grow to like this washi tape.  OK, be sure to stop by the By LORi Designs Blog to see what the rest of the sweet DT created.

Thanks for stopping by.  Hugs, Anita

I used the beautiful Anya Blooms on today's card.  She's colored with copics and colored pencils and I used just a little Glamour Dust on her flowers.  The sweet sentiment that you see comes as part of this stamp set too!  My friend Lisa found the aqua chevron paper for me (thanks Lisa!) and then I just added some black ribbon and a bow.  Be sure to stop by the Greeting Farm Blog to see what the rest of the team has created for Double Take Tuesday.  And here's the photo inspiration that Rosemary shared with all of us for this week's challenge:

Birthday Wishes

( ** Please scroll down for my Greeting Farm post ** )

Hello once again!  Today is my turn to post over on the Sugar Nellie Blog and I'm using one of the older images from the Leanne Ellis Designs collection.

This little cutie is Talking to the Birds.  It appears that this stamp is currently out of stock but there are lots of other adorable stamps from this collection available at Funky Kits.  I colored the image with copics and colored pencils and then cut it out with my nestabilities.  I added a little tag behind the image where I can write a special message to the birthday girl :)  The flourish is a Cheery Lynn die and the flowers are a My Favorite Things Die-namic.  I added a pink pearl to the center of each flower.  My papers are from an older My Mind's Eye 6x6 pad.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful weekend!

Farm Fresh Friday - St. Patrick's Day

Hello friends!  Today starts a new Farm Fresh Friday Challenge over on The Greeting Farm Blog.  It was our sweet Annie's turn to choose the challenge this week and she's asking us to make a St. Patrick's Day project!

I have used the adorable CC Monday Morning on my card today.  Don't you love the look on her face?  Yes, I'm thinking that's probably what most of us feel like when Monday mornings roll around lol!  As usual, I've used my copics and colored pencils to color her.  This fabulous hexagon die was a gift from lovely Karen (thank you so much!) and I cut the shamrock using a die also.  Be sure to stop by The Greeting Farm Blog to see what the rest of my amazing teamies are sharing this week.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Hugs, Anita

Wee Stamps

( ** Please scroll down for my All That Scraps post ** )

Good morning sweet friends.  I have a card to share with you today using one of Sylvia Zet's gorgeous images ...

Is't this a beautiful Easter stamp?  You can find the image as a digi here or you can find the rubber stamp here.  I colored the image with Distress Inks and added Liquid Pearls to the centers of the flowers on the egg.  I've also used some ribbon, lace, pearls, and a heart doily.  The flourish is from Cheery Lynn and the flower die is by My Favorite Thing.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Hugs, Anita
