Happy Birthday

Good morning and happy Monday!  I hope you had an amazing weekend.  Today I'm sharing a fun shaker card featuring a digital stamp from the LTTS Doodles Etsy Shop

I cut a panel of bristol card that measures 4.25" x 5.5".  I sponged the panel with Antique Linen, Spun Sugar, and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Inks and then spattered it with water and white gouache.  I decided to make an edge-to-edge shaker so once I had my acetate adhered on three sides, I added clear sequins and stars and then sealed up the fourth side of the shaker.  I adhered the panel to the front of my card.  I printed the adorable birthday girl from the Lulu Birthday stamp set on Neenah cardstock and colored it with copics.  I used a white gel pen on the hat pompom and a black gel pen on the overall buttons.  I adhered the birthday girl directly to the acetate.  I sponged a strip of bristol with the Worn Lipstick and stamped the sentiment using a stamp from my stash.  I apologize for the glare on the card but I find it so hard to get a good photograph of shaker cards because of the acetate.

From One Party Animal To Another

Good morning friends!  Today I'm sharing a birthday card featuring an adorable pup from Pawsome Stamps.

I won this stamp set a couple of months ago and finally found some time to get it inky.  I love the large pup image in the set!  I colored the images with copics and fussy cut them.  I used a black gel pen on the eyes and then used a white gel pen to add highlights.  I found the cupcake and coordinating pink paper in my stash and thought it would go perfectly with this sweet pup!  I adhere the pup and large sentiment strip with foam tape to give some dimension to my card.

Copics:
Pup - E33, E31, E30; N8; C3, C1
Hat - RV55, RV52, RV11, RV10, RV00

Thanks for stopping by!  Have an awesome weekend.

Reverse Confetti - June Stock Your Stash

Hello crafty friends!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for the Reverse Confetti Stock Your Stash Challenge.

The theme for this month's challenge is Hello/Just Because.  I love having these types of cards in my stash because they can be used for so many different occasions!  I used several stamps to create today's card.  The cute critters are from the Heart Pals stamp set, the sun/clouds are from Better With Friends, and the bird is from the Chalk It Up stamp set.  I colored all the images with copics and used both a black gel pen and white gel pen on the critter's eyes and faces.

I used the Easter Cover Panel Confetti Cuts to diecut a scalloped panel from bristol card.  I inked the panel with Cracked Pistachio, Mowed Lawn, and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks and spattered it with water drops.  Once dry, I stamped a sentiment from the A Beautiful Day stamp set and adhered the panel to my card front.  I glued the flowers directly to my card and then adhered the rest of the images with foam tape to give my card some dimension.

I hope you play along in the challenge.  The random winner receives a $20 gift certificate to the shop!

These cute critters and the word die are from Hello Bluebird.  I sponged a piece of bristol card with Broken China, Prize Ribbon, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Inks and then I used the Make Me Smile Words Die to diecut the large letters.  I adhered all the letters with foam tape to add some dimension to the card.  The critters are from the Word Buddies Woodland stamps.  I colored the critters with copics, fussy cut them, and adhered them directly to the letters.  I diecut the tiny hearts using a die from the Next Door Gnomes Dies and adhered them directly to my card.

Happy Birthday, My Friend

Good evening crafty friends!  I'm just popping in to share a card I made for a challenge over on the My Favorite Things Blog.

This adorable birthday bear is from the Beary Special Birthday stamp set.  I used the Big Balloon Stencil and sponged the balloon with Picked Rasperry and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Inks.  I spattered the balloon with water and after it dried, I added a bow and string with a black permanent pen.  I colored the bear with copics and diecut it with the coordinating Beary Special Birthday Die-namics.  I used a black glaze pen on the bear's eyes and nose and added highlights with a white gel pen.  I adhered the image and sentiment with foam tape.

Have A Bright & Sunny Day

Happy Sunday friends!  I hope you're having a beautiful weekend.  Today I'm sharing a slimline card featuring some more of those adorable digital stamps from the LTTS Doodles Etsy Shop.

The three sweet beach kitties are from the Summer Kitties digital stamp set.  The umbrella, beach ball, sun/clouds, and sentiment are from various clear stamps that I own.  My slimline card measures 3.5" x 8"5 inches.  I cut a panel of bristol card and inked it with Tea Dye and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Inks.  I spattered the entire panel with white gouache, and then spattered the sea and ocean with either brown or blue acrylic paint.

I printed or stamped the images on Neenah cardstock and fussy cut them.  I colored them with copics and used both a black and white gel pen on their eyes.  I also added a white highlight to their cheeks.  I applied Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the sunglasses.  I adhered all the images with foam tape to give my card some added dimension.

Sending You Sunshine

Good afternoon crafty friends!  I hope your week is off to an amazing start.  Today I'm sharing a card I made for a sketch challenge over on the My Favorite Things Blog

These sweet images are from the You Make My Days Sunshiny stamp set.  I colored the images with copics and then fussy cut them.  I used a black glaze pen on the bunny eyes and a white gel pen on the cheeks.  I followed the MFT WSC 497 for my card design.  I sponged Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Tumbled Glass, and Broken China Distress Oxide Inks onto a 3.5" x 8" panel of bristol card.  I spattered the panel with white, blue, and green acrylic paints.  Once dry, I adhered the panel to my card base and then adhered the images with foam tape.  I heat-embossed on of the fun sentiments from the stamp set.

Hope Your Day Is Sprinkled With Happiness

Happy Thursday friends!  I don't know about you, but this has been a crazy week for me!  Thank goodness the weekend is almost here.

Today I'm sharing a fun card featuring one of the adorable digital images from the LTTS Doodles Etsy shop.  This stamp set has three summer piggy images and they're as cute as can be!  I diecut a stitched rectangle from white cardstock and inked it with distress oxide ink.  I spattered it with distress oxide ink, white acrylic paint, and blue watercolor paint.  Once the rectangle was dry, I adhered it to my card.  I printed the image on Neenah cardstock, colored it with copics, and fussy cut it.  I used a black glaze pen on the eye and added chocolate chips to the ice cream cone with brown acrylic paint.  That's my favorite ice cream flavor - chocolate chip mint!  I adhered the image with foam tape and this clean and simple card was done!

Copics:

Piggy - E11, E21, E00, E000; R20, R02, R00

Swimsuit - BG09, BG05, BG01, B000
