Christmas Wishes

Good morning crafty friends!  Today I'm sharing a sweet Christmas card featuring a new digital stamp by Streamside Studios

This adorable penguin is from the Christmas Squishes digital stamp set.  There are lots of other cute images included in this set so be sure to stop by the shop and check them out!  I printed the penguin on Neenah cardstock, colored it with copics, and fussy-cut it.  I used a white gel pen to add highlights.  I cut a panel of white cardstock 4.25" x 5.5" and ran it through my diecutting machine in a snowflake embossing folder.  Unfortunately, you can't really see the embossed snowflakes in this photo but it's so pretty.  I used a Hero Arts die to diecut the ornament from both white cardstock and silver cardstock.  I sponged the white ornament with Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot Distress Oxide Inks and splattered it with thinned white gouache.  I diecut a snowbank, stamped a sentiment from the Merry Christmouse stamp set, and adhered it to the ornament with foam tape.  I adhered white snowflakes to the ornament and then adhered the penguin with foam tape.  I trimmed the ornament topper from the silver cardstock and adhered it over the white ornament.  I added a silver bow and then glued the ornament directly to my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a fabulous day!

Happy Holidays

Good morning crafty friends!  Today I'm sharing a card featuring products from Streamside Studios!

I combined stamps and dies from the newest release along with a stamp from a previous release.  The images and sentiments are from the My Favorite Cupcake Christmas Toppers, Sweet Family, Sweet Christmas, and Happy Everything.  I cut a piece of cardstock to measure 4.25" x 5.5" and inked it with Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Ink.  I splattered the panel with the distress oxide ink and gouache thinned with water, and adhered it to my card base.  I colored all the images with copics and fussy-cut them.  I used a white gel pen to add highlights and added Nuvo Crystal Glaze to some of the images.  I diecut the large sentiment from white and red cardstock and glued the layers together and then I heat-embossed the small sentiment on black cardstock.  I adhered the sentiment to my card and then adhered all the images with foam tape for dimension.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful day!

Merry Christmas

Good morning crafty friends!  Today I'm sharing a cute and colorful Christmas card that I made for the Heffy Doodle Blog.

I inked a panel of bristol card with Tumbled Glass, Prize Ribbon, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Inks and spattered it with thinned gouache.  I attached it to my card front.  Next, I diecut the snow globe and snowy slope from white cardstock using the Tall Snow Globe Dies.  I stamped a sentiment from the Fireside Dreams stamp set on the snowy slope.

I stamped the tree, star, and garland from the Trim The Tree stamp set and the birds from the Nuts About You stamp set.  I colored all of the images with copics and diecut them with their coordinating dies using the Heffy Doodle Mini Die Cutting Machine.

I adhered the tree, star, snowy slope and snow globe frame with foam tape and I adhered the snowflakes, birds, and garland with liquid glue.

Hello Fall

Hello crafty friends!  I'm excited to announce that I've joined the Heffy Doodle Design Team!  Today I'm sharing my first project as a member of their team.

I started my card by diecutting the Stitched Leaves Backdrop from bristol card.  I ink blended the panel with Evergreen Bough, Spiced Marmelade, and Crackling Campfire Distress Oxide Inks.  I splattered some water drops on the panel and after it was dry, I stamped a the sentiment on my card and adhered it to my card base with liquid glue.

I then stamped the cute images from the
Nuts About You set and colored them with copics.  I used the coordinating Nuts About You Dies and the Heffy Doodle Mini Die Cutting Machine to diecut all the images.

I attached the images to my card with foam tape to give it dimension.

Thank you for stopping by.  I hope you have a fabulous day!
