Season's Greetings

Good morning!  I hope you're having a fabulous week so far.  I'm sharing another Christmas card featuring a beautiful Christmas image from Power Poppy.

This image is from the Bottlebrush Holiday stamp set.  I colored the image with distress inks and used lots of Glamour Dust on the ornaments to add some pretty sparkle.  I used the MFT Stitched Circle Frames to cut out the image and then I stamped the sentiment on a banner I cut with the Die-namics Fishtail Flags Layers STAX.  The pattern papers are from My Mind's Eye 6x6 Sugar Plum collection.  I added some MME Sugar Plum Enamel Shapes to finish my card.

Thank you for stopping by!

Guest Designer - Inspired By All The Little Things

Good morning everyone!

I was so excited when Karren asked me to be a guest designer at Inspired By All The Little Things.

Here is this weeks' inspiration photo ...

And here is the card I made ...

As soon as I saw the inspiration photo I knew I had to use Lawn Fawn's Home For The Holidays stamp and die set.  I started by sponging blue distress ink on a piece of watercolor paper.  I spattered some water to create what I hope looks like a snowy sky.  The snowbank was diecut using the Cat's Pajamas' Hill and Dale CutUps.  I colored the car with copics and stamped the tree with green ink.

I hope you play along with the challenge this week!  Be sure to stop by the Inspired By All The Little Things blog to see what the design team created based on the inspiration photo.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs, Anita

Have A Beary Good Birthday

I have a fun birthday card to share today using some products from My Favorite Things.

This cute polar bear is from My Favorite Things' BB Polar Bear Pals stamp set.  I colored the bear with copics and then diecut him using the coordinating Die-namics.  I used Your Next Stamp's Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut the pattern paper.  I used My Favorite Things' Die-namics Let It Snow to cut a snowflake and then I added an enamel dot to the center.    I stamped the sentiment onto a banner I cut using the Die-namics Fishtail Flags Layers STAX and then heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder.  I used a black glaze pen on the bear's eyes and nose.  I used a white gel pen to make the polka-dots on the scarf and added some Glossy Accents to the skate blades.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hello There

I hope you have a fun weekend planned!  I'm still recovering from eating way too much on turkey day, but I thought I'd pop on here and share a fun card using some of the newest products from My Favorite Things.

This adorable stamp is BB Polar Bear Pals.  I colored the bear and his bucket of fish with copics and then diecut them using the coordinating Die-namics.  I cut the snowy landscape with the Die-namics Snow Drifts and then I used Lawn Fawn's Slide On Over die to create the slider channel.  I stamped the sentiment on a banner I cut using the Die-namics Fishtail Flags Layers STAX.  The snowflake was diecut using the Die-namics Let It Snowflake and I added an enamel dot to the center of the snowflake.  I used a black glaze pen on the bear's eyes and nose.  If you live in my area, you can find all the supplies for this card at The Paper Cottage.

I Like Big Cups

I hope you're having a wonderful week so far.  Today I'm sharing a card that would be perfect for all your coffee (or tea) loving friends!

This cute little penguin and fabulous sentiment are from the Big Cups stamp set from The Cat's Pajamas.  Since there wasn't much coloring on this image, my card was done in no time!  I did use copics on the cup and penguin.  I simply wrapped some twine and added a button to finish my card.

For those of you in the States that may be celebrating Thanksgiving, I hope you have a wonderful holiday!

Hugs, Anita

Welcome Little One

Good morning.  I made this card while I was on the Splitcoaststampers Dirty Dozen DT but never got around to sharing it on my blog until now.  It features one of my favorite stamp sets from Your Next Stamp.

This cute image is from the Woodland Cuties clear stamp set.  This set has lots of adorable images and the sweetest sentiments, so I used it to make a baby card.  I colored the bunny with copics and then used the coordinating die set.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Die to cut the plaid paper and the Doily Trio Two Dies to cut the white doily.  The little banner across the top was cut with the Fishtail Flag Banner Die.  I stamped the sentiment on a banner that I cut using the My Favorite Things Fishtail Flags Layers STAX.  I used a black glaze pen on the bunny's eyes, along with a white gel pen for the highlights.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day!

Good afternoon everyone!  Today I'm sharing a Christmas card featuring some Lawn Fawn goodies.

Season's Greetings

Hello everyone!  I hope you're having a great week so far.  I'm sharing another Christmas card I made using some new release products from Pretty Pink Posh.

I have fallen in love with so many of the new Christmas releases from various stamp companies and this adorable Christmas Friends stamp set is one that I had to have!  I also used the fun Peekaboo Windows Dies from their latest release.  This die makes a perfect little "slot" to insert a gift card so the recipient is not only receiving a gift card but a handmade card - I love that!  I colored the little girl and her birdie friend with copics and diecut them using the coordinating Christmas Friends dies.  The amazing Jennifer McGuire used these stamps and dies to create a card and I loved it ... so I totally CASE'd her card.  If you haven't seen Jennifer's videos, be sure to check out her blog!  My papers are from Authentique's Sugar Plum collection - one of my favorites this year!

Thank you so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day!

I fell in love with these adorable bunnies in the Pix's Happy Holiday stamp set as soon as I saw them!  You just can't get much cuter, right?  I colored all the images with copics and then diecut them using the coordinating Creative Cuts.  The little gifts are from the Wooly Winter stamp set and diecut using the Wooly Winter Creative Cuts.  The sentiment is from the Jingle Greetings set.  I used a black glaze pen on the bunny eyes and noses and Glossy Accents on the holly berries and Christmas lights.  I used a Wink of Stella Clear Glitter pen on the gifts and red hairbow.  To create the background, I sponged some Peacock Feathers distress ink onto a watercolor panel, flicked some water droplets, and then dried with a paper towel.  I cut the snowdrift using Lawn Fawn's Stitched Hillside Borders.  I added some clear sequins for a touch of sparkle.  I'm sure I'll be playing with this stamp set a lot this season.

Sunny Studio Stamps Winter Release

Good morning everyone!  I've got some fun cards featuring the Sunny Studio Winter Release stamps.  I was so excited when Mendi, the owner of Sunny Studio Stamps, asked me to be a guest designer using her adorable stamps!

I love making shaker cards and I thought the elements in Gleeful Reindeer set would be perfect for making a Christmas scene shaker card.  I colored the reindeer, trees, and gifts with copics and diecut them using the coordinating dies.  I used distress inks to watercolor the sky.  I used one of the snowflakes from the stamp set along with embossing powder to make the white snowflakes.  I added some snowy hills to the scene and adhered all the images.  I cut a frame from white cardstock and added acetate and sequins to complete this fun shaker card.

I also used the Gleeful Reindeer stamps and dies to make this card.  I colored the reindeer and tree with copics and then I applied Glossy Accents to the reindeer's nose and hooves.  I added a ribbon and twine to a tag that I cut with the Tag Topper Dies - Traditional.  I added a few sequins to the tag to give it a little sparkle.

I used the Mug Hugs stamps and coordinating dies for this card.  The images in this set are so perfect for making cards and gift tags for all your coffee and hot chocolate loving friends.  I made my background for this card by heat embossing the sentiment and heart using white embossing powder.  I diecut the cup and paper-pieced the kraft band on the cup.  I colored all the hearts with colored pencil and wrapped some baker's twine around the top of the card.  I used foam tape to "pop up" the cup on a circle of vellum.

I also used the Mug Hugs stamps and dies to make this Christmas card in non-traditional colors.  I used distress ink to watercolor the soft background, and then added some designer paper and gold glitter paper to the card base.  I colored the images with copies and adhered them to the card using some foam tape.  I added a few gold sequins to finish my card.

Be sure to stop by the Sunny Studio Blog to see all inspiring projects that Mendi and her DT have shared using the Winter Release.  You'll find lots more inspiration for not only the sets I used, but all her other amazing stamps and dies too.

Thank you, Mendi, for inviting me to do this guest spot!  I had so much fun playing with these adorable products.

Hugs, Anita
