Sweet Baby

Today is a CC Designs review day over on the All That Scraps Blog and the DT is sharing some fun new cards we've made with the May release.

I used Honey Bee-trice to make a baby card.  She's colored with copics and colored pencils and I used Glamour Dust on her wings.  I used a doily, ribbon, and some pearls.  Did you see what I used to attach my sentiment tag?  A tiny little safety pin ... I've had these little pins forever and thought it would go perfectly on a baby card.

Be sure to stop by the All That Scraps Blog to see what the rest of the DT has created.  And don't forget that today is the last day to purchase the adorable Sugarplums Beach Kit at the sale price.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs, Anita

Happy Days

Hello friends.  Today I have a sweet Sugar Nellie card to share with you.

This cutie is from the Home Grown Sherbet Pips collection, which you can find at Funky Kits.  I love this collection because these little girls are just as cute as can be!  I've colored Candy Pip with copics and colored pencils and added a bit of glitter paint to the flowers in her hair and her hand.  I've popped her up on some nestabilities diecuts and added some flowers and pearls.  These papers are some Martha Stewart dp I've had forever.  I'm not usually a fan of her papers but I found this pad on clearance and thought the colors were pretty.  The sentiment is from the Friend Stamp Set over at Precious Remembrance Shop.

Polly's Birthday Wishes

Hello friends.  I hope you're having a fun weekend.  I've had this adorable image from Sassy Cheryl's Digis for awhile now and finally found some time to color her.

This cutie is called Polly's Pink Flower and she was so much fun to color.  I used copics and colored pencils to color her in my favorite color combo - pink and turquoise/aqua.  She's colored with copics and colored pencils and then I used a brown button for the center of the daisy.  My fun paper is My Mind's Eye and I'm down to my last few scraps of this dp :(  The sentiment tag is from My Favorite Things.

XOXO

Hello friends.  Today I'm sharing a card I made to send to Zack, my grandson.  He loves stuffed dogs and bears ... well, actually he loves any stuffed animal ;)  Anyway, I have had this cute little image from StampFairy for quite awhile now and finally managed to color him.

This little cutie is Lenny Ladybug and he's colored with copics and colored pencils.  I used Glossy Accents on his nose and antennae.  I added a bow, a button, and a little tag I cut using a My Favorite Things dienamic.  When Zack makes a picture for me he loves to sign it with "xoxo" and his name, so of course I had to use that sentiment on the tag.  This was a very fast and easy card to make and my sweet little grandson will love it, which makes me a very happy lady :)

Thank you so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful day!

Hugs, Anita

Amy's Kitty

Good morning friends.  I have a card with one of Sylvia Zet's digi images called Amy's Kitty.  I love Sylvia's images and this kitty has the sweetest look on her face ;)

I've colored this image with copics and colored pencils.  Then I painted Creative Inspirations Paints on the balloons.  These paints give a pearlescent shimmer and they don't smear digis.  I always had to be really careful when applying Stickles because they would really smear the black ink from my printer, but that's not a problem with these paints.  I also applied the paints to the butterflies and the flowers in the image.  Some ribbon, a bow, and pearls finished my card.

Here's a close-up so that you can see the sparkle the paint adds to the image.  You may want to stop by the Creative Inspirations Paint Blog to check out our latest challenge - the inspiration theme is rainbows/rainbow colors.  You can find all the details over on the blog.

So in Love

Happy Friday friends.  We have a new release for you over on the StampFairy Blog.

This little cutie is Barry in Love and I think he's adorable ;)  He's colored with copics and colored pencils and there's Glossy Accents on his nose.  I added Glamour Dust to his wings and the hearts.  I finished off my card with a bow and a little heart button.

Here's the entire collection, which you can find for sale in the shop today.  Did you notice my sentiment?  That's another fabulous freebie that Gerda is sharing.  Be sure you stop by the StampFairy Blog to check out the gorgeous inspiration from the rest of the DT.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful weekend.

Hugs, Anita

Let Them Eat Cake!

Hello sweet friends.  Are you hungry for some yummy cake?  Well, I have the perfect dessert for you ... and no calories ;)

This sweet little fairy is Let Them Eat Cake.  I've colored her with copics and colored pencils.  I added lots of Glamour Dust to her wings, antennae, and the decorations on the cake.  There's also Glamour Dust on the stars and around the sentiment.  My papers are Gossamer by Memory Box and I love the colors in this paper.  I added some sheer ribbon and a bow, and a WOC flower to finish my card.  If you love adorable fairies you really need to check out the Fairy Glen collection over at Funky Kits.

Thank you so much for stopping by and for your sweet comments.  They mean the world to me :)

Hugs, Anita
