I Just Wanted To Bug You

Good morning friends!  Today I'm sharing a slimline card featuring a stamp set from Paperie Ink's newest release!

These sweet ladybugs are from the new Bug For A Hug stamp set.  There are so many different ladybugs to choose from, along with a few leaves and sentiments.

I decided to make a slimline card measuring 3.5" x 8.5" so I would have plenty of room to use a lot of the ladybugs.  I stenciled clouds onto white cardstock and then adhered a diecut grassy slope for the grass.  I diecut the window frame from black cardstock and adhered it with foam tape to my card.  I stamped the ladybugs and leaves on Neenah cardstock, ran them through my ScanNCut, and colored them with copics.  I adhered all the images with foam tape for dimension.  I used a black glaze pen on their eyes and also their polka-dots on their shells.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful day!

Hello Bluebird Stamps - Mushroom House

Good morning friends.  I've been guest designing for Hello Bluebird Stamps and today I'm sharing my last card as a guest designer.  This release includes lots of beautiful 6"x 6" background stamps and it's been so much fun creating cards with these stamps.

This background stamp is Mushroom House and I paired it with the Nextdoor Gnomes stamp set.  I stamped the image on Neenah cardstock and colored it with copics.  I stamped the gnomes, ladybug, and dragonfly on Neenah, colored them with copics, and then diecut them using the Nextdoor Gnomes Dies.  I adhered the images onto my card using foam tape.  This Mushroom House pairs perfectly with these cute gnomes but would work so well with lots of other Hello Bluebird stamp sets.  I think the adorable fairies from the Fairy Garden Stamp set would look especially cute with this Mushroom House.  I think I will have to give that a try real soon!

Hoppy Easter

Good morning friends!  Today I'm sharing a card featuring stamps from Streamside Studios.

These adorable Easter images are from the Sweet Easter Friends stamp set.  This etsy shop offers both clear stamps and digi stamps, so stop by and check out her fun images!  My card is a mini slimline card that measures 3.5" x 6.5".  I sponged Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink onto a panel of Bristol card and adhered it to my card base.  Next, I sponged Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks onto a strip of Bristol, diecut it using a grass die, and adhered it to my card.  I stamped all the images on Neenah cardstock, ran them through my ScanNCut, and colored them with copics.  I adhered the daffodils and a couple of the eggs directly to my card.  I used to foam tape to adhere the remaining images to give my card some dimension.  Lastly I added a few diecut clouds.

Copics:

Bunnies - E53, E51, E50; R20; E01, E000

Basket - E27, E25, E23

This adorable rhino is from the Rhino Rascals stamp set.  I colored the rhino with copics and then fussy-cut her.  Did you notice her little mouse slippers - so cute!  I diecut a scalloped stitched rectangle from white cardstock and adhered it to my card.  Next I diecut a small stitched rectangle and using a stencil, I sponged distress ink onto the panel.  I diecut several star wreaths and glued them together.  I adhered the star wreath to my sponged panel and adhered the panel my card using foam adhesive.  Lastly I adhered the rhino with foam tape to finish my card.

Hello Spring

Good morning everyone!  Can you believe it's already March?  Today I'm guest designing for the "There's A Stamp For That Challenge" over on Facebook.

The theme for the challenge is Spring, or Bunnies, or Shamrocks!  The challenge runs from March 1 through March 14 so be sure to join the challenge.  There's also a prize for one of the lucky participants - a gift card to The Greeting Farm.

I used the adorable McGregor's Garden stamp set and the Treehouse Scene Die to make my spring card.  I used the Treehouse Scene Die to cut the base of my card and sponged the sky with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink.  I sponged the grassy area with Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks, spattered it with water and again with diluted distress ink.  I diecut the tree with colored cardstock and adhered all the pieces to the front of my card.  I colored the stamped images with copics and used a white gel pen to add polka-dots to the watering can.  I used a black glaze pen on the bunny and bird eyes, and adhered them to the card with foam tape.

Copics Used:

Bunnies - E53, E51, E50; R20, R00; E01, E000, E0000

Flowerpot - E08, E99, E97, E95
