Hello friends.  It's Thursday and we have a new challenge for you over at the Meljen's Designs Challenges and Inspiration Blog.  This week our lovely Di has designed a sketch for us to follow.

It's Time to Hop!

Hello peeps!  It's another big day at the Ladybug Crafts Ink TLT Challenge Blog.  Kerry has a new release of Christmas stamps so we are having a blog hop to celebrate.  You should have come from Pam's blog.  If you didn't, you can stop by Kerry's blog as she's the first stop on the hop.

Our lovely Amanda chose our theme this week and she chose Christmas in June.  I used the new O Christmas Tree image on my card.  I colored this sweet scene with my copics and colored pencils.  I added some Glamour dust to some of the tree ornaments and Glossy Accents to others.  I punched my snowflakes and added lots of Glamour Dust and a little pearl to each one.  Some ribbon and a bow finished my card.  The sentiment  (along with another sentiment) is included in the set.

So here are the rules of the hop:
     -  Display the blog hop banner on your blog
     -  Visit each DT blog and leave a comment on each of the blog hop posts
     -  Leave a comment on the challenge blog stating which of the new stamps is your favorite

So do you want to know what the prizes are?  Well of course you do!  The 1st prize is the full set of all 4 stamps.  Then 5 runners-up will receive one stamp of their choice from the new release.  The winner and runners-up will all be chosen at random.  The hop closes at 12 noon GMT on Monday, July 4 and the winners will be announced at 9 am GMT on Tuesday, July 5.  Please remember you can also enter our challenge this week for a chance to win a stamp.

So your next stop on the hop is the fabulously talented Amanda.

Some Odd Girl

Hello everyone.  The weather has been great the last couple of days and I really enjoyed the weekend.  I hope yours was fabulous too.  Last month Some Odd Girl had a blog hop to celebrate Kristy's release of her new clear stamps.  Well, I was the lucky winner of all the stamps in that release!  I love the SOG images so I was thrilled to have won them.  Anyway, Some Odd Girl is having a challenge over on their blog and I thought I'd use one of my new stamps and play along.

I used Balloon Kaylee and colored this little sweetie with copics and colored pencils.  I added some Glossy Accents to her balloon.  The challenge is to use mostly white or kraft with just 2 pops of other colors.  Well, I don't know if this qualifies as mostly white ... I just loved the two colors so much I may have added a wee bit more color than the challenge called for lol!  There's still time to enter the challenge so stop by their blog and check out all the details.

Sonny's Party

Hello peeps.  I hope you're having a wonderful weekend.  I was lucky enough to be a guest designer for the Pollycraft Challenge back in March and I loved working with their images.   Paula is looking for some new DT members so I thought I would enter my name.  You can find all the details here.  She's also offering two free digi images ... how great is that?

I used Sonny's Party for my card and colored her with copics and colored pencils.  I added a little bit of stickles to the balloon and all of the little hearts on her dress, necklace, and envelope.  My birthday banner and the little tag were made with MFT die-namics.  I added some ribbon and a bow to finish my card.

Lots of Red

Hello friends!  It's Tuesday so that means we have another challenge for you over at the Ladybug Crafts Ink TLT Challenge Blog.  This week our lovely Gaelle chose the theme and she's asking that we use red on our cards.  Easy peasy, right?

I used Football Jack and colored him with my copics and colored pencils.  I cut him out with my deckled nestabilities and added some Glossy Accents to his football.  Yes, here in the states this is a soccer ball, but since Jack lives in Scotland, it's a football :)  I added some twine and a button.  The sentiment is from the Sentimental Numbers set.

Please be sure you stop by the Ladybug Crafts Ink TLT Challenge Blog to check out the beautiful work by the rest of the DT.  Since our challenge is super easy this week, I hope you can find some time to play along.  You can check out the stamps and all kinds of other goodies over at the Ladybug Crafts Ink shop.

Red, White and Blue

Hello friends!  Only one more day till the weekend ... yeah!  Since it's Thursday that means we have a new challenge for you over on the Meljen's Designs Challenges and Inspiration Blog.  If you read the title of my post then you've probably already guessed our challenge is to use red, white & blue!

I used Meljen's Designs Ivy Wreath Heart.  I colored this lovely wreath with copics and colored pencils.  I added lots of Glamour Dust to the stars.  My papers are a mix of Basic Grey and My Mind's Eye.  I picked these up at my LSS and they're perfect for patriotic projects.  I used some brads and ribbon with a bow.  Is it just me or do brads seem to be the forgotten embellishment?  I have tons of them and I like them, but I never seem to remember to use them anymore.  That's OK, I'll hang onto mine and before you know it, they'll be the "hot" embellishment again lol!

Here's the latest Meljen's Designs release.  You can find these fabulous images over at Whimsy Stamps.  Please be sure to stop by the Meljen's Designs Challenges and Inspiration Blog to see the fabulous work by the rest of the DT.

Adorably Yours

Hello friends.  Are you having a fabulous weekend so far?  The horrible storms and stifling heat have moved on ... at least for a few days.  The weather today is gorgeous.  I love being able to spend time outdoors without feeling like I'm sitting in a sauna lol!

I have a new image to share with you today.  Whimsy Stamps has a new artist that has joined the group.  Her name is Kathryne Kittmer (StampArt Design) and this image is one of her designs.  I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it ... it brings back lots of childhood memories for me :)  This image is called Raggedy Girl - Adorably Yours (Pigtails) and you can find her over in the Whimsy Stamps store.  I colored this little sweetie with copics and colored pencils.  I cut out my background mats with my nestabilities and ran it through my embossing folder.  I stitched my papers and added some ribbon and a bow.  There's no glitter, stickles, or glossy accents on this card ... can you believe it lol?

Pretty In Pink

Hello peeps.  Well, it's Wednesday and that means I have a Simply Sassy card to share with you this afternoon.

I inked up Guinevere and colored her with copics and colored pencils.  Very quick and easy to color since I only needed to shade the bottom portion of her dress.  I used a little Glossy Accents on her necklace.  I cut her out and popped her up on foam dots for some dimension.  I added flowers, pearls and some flourishes.  My layout is Kiki's sketch from over at The Sugar Bowl.  Be sure to stop by their challenge and check out all the details.  If you play along you might be the winner of six Sugar Nellie stamps!  You can find the lovely Guinevere and all the other fabulous Sugar Nellie stamps over at Funky Kits.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
