7KCF & SugarPea Designs

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving to my friends here in the States!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for a post over on the 7KCF Blog.

I used this sweet Merry Christmoose stamp set from SugarPea Designs.  I thought about making a Thanksgiving card for my blog today, but I couldn't resist inking up this adorable little moose.  He's one of my favorite images for Christmas cards this year.  I colored him with copics and then used some papers from the Altitude 6x6 paper pad from Bo Bunny.  I used the Stitched Hillside Borders dies from Lawn Fawn to create the snowbank.

SPDSS16 - Happy Winter

Good morning everyone! We are starting a new sketch challenge today over on the SugarPea Designs Blog!

I used the little girl from the sweet Frosty Friends clear stamp set.  This awesome set is from our 2014 Holiday Release!  Now anyone who knows me knows that I absolutely love snowmen, but I thought I would make this cute little girl the focus of my card today.  I colored her with copics and added a few sequins for some sparkle.  My papers are from BoBunny - love the colors and patterns in this 6x6 pad!

The rules are simple:
   -   Create a new card or project using the SugarSketch provided
   -   SugarPea Design stamps are not required to play along or to win, but would be appreciated
   -   You may rotate/flip the sketch and replace shapes - so long as the original sketch layout is recognizable
   -   Upload to your blog or other Online Gallery using Keyword SPDSS16 so that we can check out your beautiful work
   -   Add your name and link to your project in the InLinkz on the SugarPea Designs Blog

Your Next Stamp November Feature Day

Happy Saturday!  I hope you're enjoying your weekend so far.  Today is Feature Day over on the Your Next Stamp Blog.  The team is sharing some new samples featuring the YNS stamps and dies.

I used this awesome Gingerbread House Die Set to make my card.  This die set is so much fun to work with and the possible combinations are endless!  I cut the house and gingerbread from kraft, the door and windows from bazzill, and the snowy on the roof and windows from white glitter paper.  I added some yummy gumdrops for the doorknob and to the lollipops.  The sentiment is from the Sweet Holiday Greetings stamp set.

Be sure to stop by the Your Next Stamp Blog to see what the rest of the team is sharing today!

Thanks for stopping by.

Good afternoon!  We have a new challenge that starts today over on the 7KCF Challenge Blog.  Our challenge is always "anything goes" but this week we have an optional twist of "fall colors".

What's more perfect to use with fall colors than this sweet Bountiful Blessings clear stamp set from SugarPea Designs?  I colored this little scarecrow with copics and used some fall papers from the A Perfect Autumn paper pad from Carta Bella.  A button tied with some twine finished off my card.  Be sure to stop by the 7KCF Challenge Blog to see the beautiful projects the rest of the DT is sharing today.

SPD11 - Winter Wishes

Good morning everyone!  Today we have a new challenge over on the SugarPea Designs Blog and our theme is "Winter Wishes".

I used this adorable Merry Christmoose, one of our fabulous new stamps from this month's release.  I colored the moose and trees with my copics and fussy cut them.  I have been seeing so many gorgeous distress backgrounds on cards made by my teammates and I love the way they look.  So when I saw this new paper by BoBunny in my LSS it reminded me of the distress ink "look" and I decided to give it a try.  This paper fades from this deep purple to a light turquoise and then to a darker turquoise it's gorgeous!  Unfortunately, my snowbanks covered up the lighter colors but I still like the way the card turned out.

You can play along with any stamp you like - the winner is chosen at random to keep things fair, but if the winner's project features a SugarPea Designs stamp, SPD will increase the voucher to $15.  There are only a few rules and you can see them over on the SugarPea Designs Blog.

Thanks so much for dropping by!  I hope to see your "Winter Wishes" entry over on the SugarPea Designs Blog.

Hugs, Anita

Good morning everyone!  Hope you're all staying warm and cozy.  Yesterday we had our first snowfall of the year and today we have freezing temperatures.  Although I'm not crazy about this weather, it does put me in the mood for making Christmas cards!

Here's a quick little card using Gifts For You from Your Next Stamp.  Not only can you use this stamp set for Christmas cards but the set also includes sentiments for birthdays or other occasions.  You can see a birthday card I made using this stamp set here.  I used the Jingle Bell Border Die and cut the bells from sparkly silver paper.

These sweet little gingerbread are from the Sweet Holiday Greetings clear stamp set.  You have got to check out this amazing stamp set!  I think it may be out of stock at the moment but I'm sure Karen will have more in the store very soon!  I colored these little cuties with copics and then cut them out with the coordinating Sweet Holiday Greetings Die Set.  The sentiment is cut using the Seasons Die Set.  I'm telling you - these stamps and dies are a must-have set for the holiday season.  I added a bit of doily and seam binding and then used my Clear Wink of Stella glitter marker on their bows and buttons.

7KCF & Wild Rose Studio

Good morning!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for a post over on the 7KCF Blog.

I used Bluebell and Presents from Wild Rose Studio.  If you are looking for some really cute Christmas images be sure to check out the Wild Rose Studio stamps over at the 7KCF Store.  They also have some really adorable papers too ... just saying ;)  I colored the image with copics and then used a Clear Wink of Stella glitter marker to add some sparkle.  I used the Plush Poinsettia Corner Die from Memory Box.  I decided to omit the poinsettia leaves so it would have a lacy look.  Then I adhered a few sequins for even more sparkle.  All Christmas cards need sparkle, right?
