The Challenge #93 - Keywords

Good morning!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for our latest challenge over at Always Playing With Paper's The Challenge.

Our challenge this week is a "keyword" challenge and I used the adorable Snuggle Bunnies from My Favorite Things.  I colored the bunnies with copics and then diecut them using the coordinating die-namics.  I used the Stitched Scallop Basic Edges die-namic to cut the plaid paper from the Plaid Patterns Merry & Bright Paper Pack.  I used the Stitched Circle Frames die-namic to cut the circle and then stenciled the clouds using distress ink and the Stencil Cloud.  Lastly, I added a few enamel dots to finish off my card.

You can use as few or as many of the keywords to create your card as you like.  Be sure to stop by The Challenge to see what the rest of the DT created this week.  I hope you find some time to play along in the challenge.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs, Anita

Wish You Were Here

Good morning.  Today I'm sharing a card using a sweet stamp set from Newton's Nook.

These cute kitties are from the Newton's Summer Vacation stamp set.  I colored the images with copics and then fussy-cut them.  I diecut the sand and ocean using a Lawn Fawn die and then applied distress inks.  I flicked some brown acrylic paint on the sand and added flicks of water to the ocean.  I stenciled the clouds with a stencil from My Favorite Things and then added a sun that I diecut using a Lawn Fawn die.   I used foam tape on the kitties and sun to add some dimension to my card.  I applied Glossy Accents to the kitty's sunglasses to make them shiny.  I'm not sure exactly where these kitties are vacationing, but I'd love to join them lol.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hugs, Anita

I added distress ink in Twisted Citron, along with some water to create my background.  Then I stamped the little butterfly from the Studio Katia Mini Thank You on my card.  I used the coordinating die to cut the sentiment from black cardstock.  Lastly, I added a few sequins to give my card some sparkle.

Sugar & Spice

Good morning.  Today I'm sharing a card I made using some sweet Neat & Tangled and Doodlebug Design products.

These sweet little kids are from the Say Yes To Donuts stamp set.  I colored them with copics and then used the coordinating Nice & Neat Dies to diecut them.  I cut the sentiment panel from the 6x6 Doodlebug Design Cream & Sugar paper pad and then just tucked the little kids behind the panel.  This was a quick and easy card!  I added a few Doodlebug Design matte dots to finish the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Have A Fintastic Day

Good morning!  Today I'm sharing a card using an adorable mermaid stamp and die set from Taylored Expressions.

This cute little mermaid is from the Mermaid Kisses and Oceans of Fun stamp and die combo.  I colored the mermaid with copics and then diecut her with the coordinating die.  I cute a frame from white cardstock and created a fun shaker card.  The glare from the acetate made this card a little hard to photograph and the colors look a little faded - it really looks better IRL :-)  The sentiment is also from the same stamp set.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a great week!

Butterfly Baby

Good morning.  I hope you're having a fabulous weekend so far!

I made this card ages ago but never got around to sharing it on my blog.  I don't think this sweet image is available any longer.  It's called Butterfly Baby and it was from the Saturated Canary shop.  I colored the image with distress inks and used some pretty papers from Graphic 45.  The butterflies were cut using a butterfly border die and I added a tiny pearl to the center of each butterfly.  I punched a tag using the Martha Stewart Scalloped Tag Punch, stamped the word Baby, and tied the tag onto the bow using some embroidery floss.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Hugs, Anita
