Sugar and Spice ...

Happy Wednesday friends!  We're halfway to the weekend ... woohoo!

This little cutie is CC Designs Swiss Pixie Baby Girl - isn't she adorable?  I colored her with my copics and colored pencils.  The sentiment is from the Webbie's Words Baby Cakes Sentiments stamp set.  This stamp set has lots of perfect sentiments for baby cards.  I added a diaper pin that I cut using the CC Designs Cutters Baby Accessories Dies.  Be sure to stop by the All That Scraps Blog to see what the rest of the DT is sharing today.  I know you'll find tons of inspiration over there.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sweet Friend

( ** Please scroll down to see my LCI Post ** )

Good morning everyone.  We're starting a new Double Take Tuesday today over on the Greeting Farm Blog.

Our lovely Rachel set our challenge this week and she wants to see purple and green.  This happens to be one of my favorite color combinations.  These colors always make me think of spring!  I used this adorable Wild Sprout Gracie and colored her with copics and colored pencils.  My papers are Graphic 45.  I always love their collections and this is one of my favorites!  I added a punched flower with a pearl and a sentiment.

Be sure to stop by the Greeting Farm Blog to see what my amazing teammates have created this week.  Thank you for stopping by.

Killer Heels

Hello everyone!  Today I'm participating as a guest designer along with the amazing Ladybug Crafts Ink DT in their latest blog hop!  It's time for a new release at Ladybug Crafts Ink.  There are six new images in the Killer Heels collection and to celebrate the Ladybugs are having a blog hop.

OK, so here are their rules for the hop:

1)  Leave a comment on each of the blogs as you hop
2)  Some of the blogs will have a "letter" for you to collect.  Collect all the letters and once you figure out what the letters spell, send an email to lcichallengeblog.aol.com
3)  Leave a message on their challenge blog telling them which of the six images is your favorite
4)  Display their badge (see above) in your sidebar to help spread the word

You should have arrived here from Diane's blog.  If not, you may want to start over on the Ladybug Crafts Ink TLT Challenge Blog so that you don't miss any of the stops!

Here is the card I made using one of the new images.  I colored the shoes and purse with copics and colored pencils and then added some tiny black beads.  This is my first time at coloring leopard-skin pattern so hopefully I've got it right lol!  I used a Martha Stewart punch-around-the-page and then layered my image onto Bazzill cardstock.  The sentiment is from a previous LCI clear stamp set.  I added a sheer black bow to finish my card.

Your next stop on the hop is Susan's blog.  If you should happen to get lost along the way you can always hop over to the challenge blog to get the right order.

Thank you so much for hopping along with us today.  Enjoy the hop and good luck!

Hugs, Anita

Winter Snow

Good morning friends.  I hope you had a great weekend.  I have a new card to share today.

This sweet image is called Winter Boy and Puppy and you can find this cutie over in Birdie Brown's Etsy shop.  I bought this image quite awhile back because it reminds me so much of my little grandson and his dog.  I colored it with copics and colored pencils and then added Glamour Dust for the falling snow and the ground snow.  There's Glossy Accents on the puppy's nose to make it look wet and shiny.  I kept the embellishments simple since I'll be mailing this to my grandson ... only added a snowflake with a little button.  I followed Sketch #176 over at the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by and stay warm!

Hugs, Anita

Winter Wonderland

Hello sweet friends.  Are you managing to stay warm?  We have been having bitterly cold temps here the last couple of days and it's suppose to stay that way all week.  While I may not be enjoying the cold weather, it looks like this sweet girl loves it ...

This little cutie is Nikki and you can find her over in the Saturated Canary shop.  I've always wanted to alter a gift bag and thought Nikki would be perfect for this wintery paper.  The paper is Winterings by Little Yellow Bicycle and I love colors and patterns in this collection.  I colored Nikki with copics and colored pencils and added some Glamour dust to the heart on her scarf and the icy ground.  I applied Liquid Applique to her legwarmers and mittens and used Liquid Pearls around the image.  I added a big bow, tag, and glittery snowflakes to finish my giftbag.  This gift bag was so fun to make - I'm sure you'll be seeing more of them on my blog.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Hugs, Anita

Cocoa and Me

( ** Please scroll down for my Greeting Farm post ** )

Hello again!  I hope you're managing to stay warm wherever you are.  We're having extremely cold weather and today is suppose to be even colder than yesterday :(

This morning I'm sharing a little project I made for a friend.  I found this little pail awhile back at Target in their $ bin.  Well, it was cute, it was cheap, and it was blue (one of my favorite colors) so of course it jumped into my cart!  I used CC Designs' Meoples Dress Up Snowman Stamp set to decorate my pail.  I also used the CC Designs Cutters Snowman Outline Die to cut this cute snowman out.  I colored the snowman with colored pencils but there's very little coloring so that took no time at all.  I stamped his hat and scarf on dp, added some shading, and heat embossed the Liquid Applique.

I also decorated the lid of the pail using the CC Designs Cutters Cocoa and Coffee Die  and a stamp from the CC Designs Winter Chuckles Saying Stamp set.

I tied ribbons on the handle and filled the pail with hot cocoa packets.  Be sure to stop by the All That Scraps Blog to see what the rest of the DT is sharing today.

Thank you for stopping by.

Hugs,  Anita

You're Positively Wonderful

Good morning friends.  Today over on the Greeting Farm Blog we're starting a new Double Take Tuesday Challenge.

Our sweet Suzanne set our challenge this week and she has provided us with a fabulous sketch to follow!  I used this lovely Sitting Wonderful from our latest release to make my card.  I colored her with copics and colored pencils.  I paper-pieced the chair and added some shading to it also.  I love the sentiment and it comes with this stamp set.  The crocheted flower was a gift from my friend Arabella (thanks sweetie).

Season The Day

Good morning to all of you.  I hope you had a great weekend.  I have a new card to share today using a clear stamp set from Inky Antics.

This image is from the Prepping Chefs Clear Set 10961LC.  Some of you may recall that I was a Guest Designer for Inky Antics in September of last year and this stamp set was one I selected to work with.  You can see the entire stamp set and my card in this post.  Well, I stamped this little sweetie back then and she's been patiently waiting all this time for me to give her some color :-D  I used my copics and colored pencils to finish her and then added a few buttons.  The sentiments come with the clear set, which is one of the things I love about the Inky Antics clear sets!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hello again sweet friends.  Today starts a new challenge over on the By LORi Designs Challenge Blog.

You're Positively Wonderful

Happy Wednesday friends!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for a post over on The Greeting Farm's Blog.  I used a stamp from our current release ...

This little cutie was colored with copics and colored pencils.  I paper pieced the chair and shaded it with my pencils.  I added some flecks of Glamour Dust to the glass of lemonade so that it would look cold and frosty.  I was hoping the floral paper would look like wallpaper with wood flooring ... not sure I pulled that one off though lol!  The sentiment comes with the stamp set and I found a little package of yellow flowers in the $ bin at Michaels the other day - perfect!
