Holiday Blessings

Hello sweet friends.  Today is Day 3 of our September previews for The Greeting Farm.  Today I'm showing two cards using the new clear set . . .

Holiday Blessings

My first card has the sentiment cut out and matted with nestabilities.  The papers are by Melissa Frances and I've used an eyelet border punch.  The snowflakes are popped up on foam dots.  I added some Glamour Dust and a pearl to the snowflakes, and a few little heart buttons under the sweet sentiment.

My second card features the same fabulous clear set and I've colored the string of lights with copics and colored pencils.  I used Glamour Dust on the lights to give them some sparkle.  I added some ribbon, a bow, and a button to finish my card.

The Holiday Blessings clear set includes lots of fabulous sentiments for your Christmas cards.  I know I'll be reaching for this set a lot for my holiday cards.  I'm really impressed with the quality of The Greeting Farm's clear stamps too.  They stamp perfectly every time!

Plain Ole Peyton

Happy Monday friends.  I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  It feels like forever since I last posted.  I have been really busy working on some new things I'll be able to share later in the week ;)  I did find a little time to color a cute little bear though.

This sweetie is Just Plain 'Ole Peyton from Sassy Cheryl's Digi Shop.  I love the expression on her face.  My grandson was watching me color and he was amused by the size of her feet  --  told me he didn't think he'd ever seen a bear with such big feet lol.  I've had her for a little while now and she's been sitting on my work table begging to be colored.  I just couldn't ignore that cute face any longer :)  Of course she's colored with copics and colored pencils.  The flowers are from my EK Success punches and I've added a little pearl to their centers.  The sentiment is from the Sweet Sentiments set by AmyR Stamps at All That Scraps

Thank you so much for stopping by.

I Grant You One Wish

Good morning stamping friends.  I apologize for not visiting your lovely blogs lately.  Our family took a vacation to Florida and I spent most of my time relaxing on the beach.  We had beautiful weather, fabulous food, and a wonderful week of family time.  I think we all came home with some great memories ;)  I barely even turned on my laptop while we were gone.  Then the day after we arrived home, I came down with a horrible bug.  I'm so glad I didn't get sick until after we were home but that bug really knocked me off my feet for a couple of days.  So I will be around to catch up on your beautiful creations over the next few days.

Today I have a sweet little fairy to show.  This sweetie is I Grant You One Wish and you can find her and lots of other gorgeous fairies over at Funky Kits.

She's colored with copics and colored pencils and I added lots of Glamour Dust so she would sparkle.  The sentiment is by PTI and the snowflakes are from a My Favorite Things die-namic.  I followed the lovely Maria Therese's sketch over at The Sugar Bowl Challenge.  Did you know that you may win fabulous Sugar Nellie stamps by entering their challenges?  Be sure to stop by and check out the details on their challenge blog.

Happy Tuesday friends.  I've been working on my Christmas card stash for this year so I have another Christmas card to share today.

This adorable image is Reindeer Sally by Sassy Cheryl's Digis.  I've actually had this image for quite awhile but just got around to coloring her.  I think she's just the cutest!  She's colored with copics and colored pencils.  I used Creative Inspirations products to add lots of sparkle to my card.  I applied Resplendence Regal Red Fine Glitter to the ornament she's holding in her hand, and Resplendence Angel Dust Fine Glitter on the ornament and snowflake diecut embellishments.  I used their Deliquesce Fine Black embossing powder on the sentiment.

Creative Inspirations also carries beautiful paints and their paints are on sale for 10% off for the month of August.  OK, one more holiday card completed ... and I don't even want to think about how many more I need ;)

A Friend Like You

(** Scroll down for my All That Scraps post **)

Good morning friends.  The Simply Sassy stamps were some of the first Sugar Nellie stamps I ever colored and I still adore these images.  So I pulled out my Butterfly Girl stamp and inked her up.

Doesn't she have the cutest expression on her face?  She's colored with copics and colored pencils.  The paper is Pebbles' 6 x 6 pad Sunny Side.  I ran across this pad in my local Hobby Lobby the other day.  My HL never seems to have any of the newer papers so I was really surprised to find this one.  The sentiment was actually part of the paper pad so I just cut it out and layered it on the cardstock.  The corner banner and butterflies are from CC Cutters.  I added a doily and some pearls to the butterflies.  Butterfly Girl is not in stock right now but I'm sure Funky Kits will have her back in stock soon.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Hugs, Anita

School Days

Hello sweet friends.  Today over on the All That Scraps Blog the design team is sharing some new projects using the stamps and cutters from the August release.

This little cutie is School Hansel and the pencils he's sitting on is from the School Logos stamp set.  He's colored with copics and colored pencils.  The apple and corner banner are from new CC Cutter dies.  I stamped my grandson's name, Zack, on the banner.  He starts first grade in a couple of weeks.  I'll write a special message in the card and give it to him the day before school starts.  He loves receiving my handmade cards and has actually saved every card I've made for him.  Sweet, huh?  He's my little sweetie pie ;)

Fashionista Guest Designer

Happy Monday to all of you!  Today I'm a guest designer over on the Fashionista Challenge Blog.  Their challenge is to make a card for a birthday or a baby, so I decided to make a birthday card.

Here's a picture with the tag removed.  This sentiment is by Inkadinkado and I think it's adorable.
