The Greeting Farm - July Release & Blog Hop

It’s the 15th, and the JULY Release is now available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store. We are so excited to introduce 4 new stamps this month! Our first set, called TAKE A HIKE features the cutest couple ready to go on summer adventures. Our 2nd set called MISS ANYA SAMOYED features some fabulous big Anyas and an adorable Samoyed dog. Next, we have SLUMBER PARTY with 3 girls all ready for their sleepover. And lastly, we have a new sentiment set called THIS DAY, perfect for those planner and calendar pages.

 

 

 

I used the Take A Hike stamp set to make today's card.  I created the background by stenciling clouds and then I used copics to add the trail and grassy area.  I diecut a square from a piece of white cardstock and stamped the sentiment below the window.  I placed this over the outdoor scene using foam tape, and then adhered the hiking couple with foam tape too.

The Greeting Farm - July Previews Day 4

Hello and welcome to Day 4 of The Greeting Farm previews of the July release!  Today I'm sharing a card that features the new This Day stamp set.

This set has stamps for every day of the week, along with some all-occasion sentiments.  I'm always looking for great sentiments to use on my cards and this stamp set is perfect!  I sponged some distress oxide ink onto Neenah cardstock and then added some patterned paper along the side.  I stamped an image from the new Miss Anya Samoyed stamp set, colored it with copics, and adhered it to my card with foam tape.  I also used foam tape for the sentiment flag and added a small heart.

The Greeting Farm - July Previews Day 3

Hello and welcome to Day 3 of The Greeting Farm previews of the July release!  Today I'm sharing a card that features the new Slumber stamp set.

How cute are these little gals in their sleeping bags?  This stamp set would be perfect for making slumber party invitations too!  I stamped and heat embossed some stars onto Bristol card and then sponged on distress inks to create a "starry sky". I colored the images with copics and adhered them with foam tape.

Create A Smile Stamps Challenge

Good morning!  We have a new challenge today over on the Create A Smile Stamps Blog.

Our new challenge is a sketch.  I love sketch challenges and I hope you do too!  I used stamps from the Easter Tweetings stamp set.  I had so much fun designing Easter cards with this set and was happy to be able to adapt it to create an easy birthday card.  I sponged distress oxide inks onto Bristol card and flicked water from a paintbrush.  Once the Bristol was dry, I diecut some circles and a flag for my sentiment.  I stamped the images, diecut them with my Scan N Cut, then colored them with copics.  I used a black glaze pen on their eyes and I used a Wink of Stella clear glitter pen on the gifts and flower.  Lastly, I added a few sequins for a bit of sparkle.

Hello and welcome to Day 2 of The Greeting Farm previews of the July release!  Today I'm sharing a card that features the new Miss Anya Samoyed stamp set.

This new stamp set includes 3 Anyas!  I sponged some distress ink onto white cardstock for my background.  I colored Anya with copics and adhered her with foam tape for dimension.  I also added a few sequins because Anya always needs some sparkle in her life!

The Greeting Farm - July Previews Day 1

Hello and welcome to Day 1 of The Greeting Farm previews of the July release!  Today I'm sharing a card that features the new Take A Hike stamp set.

 

This new stamp set is all about the great ourdoors!  Boating, camping, hiking, and lots of fabulous sentiments too.  I sponged some distress ink onto Bristol card and diecut it to create the water and hills.  I used distress ink and a stencil to create the cloudy sky.  I colored the images with copics and adhered them with foam tape for dimension.

Sending A Little Love

Hello friends!  I'm excited to announce that I'm joining the LDRS Creative Team and today I'm sharing my first post using some of their fabulous products! 

This adorable girl is Holly-Delightful Daisy from the Polkadoodles collection.  I stamped Holly with Raven Hybrid Ink and colored her with alcohol markers.  I used a white gel pen to add some highlights to the flowers.  I diecut the image using one of the dies from the Scalloped Rectangle Frame Set and matted that onto red cardstock.

I covered an A2 card base with pretty paper from the Homemade Happiness 6x6 paper pack and adhered the image.  Once again I used Raven Hybrid Ink to stamp a sentiment from the Spot On stamp set onto red cardstock.  I diecut the sentiment using a die from the Practically Oval Frame Set and added that to my card.

The Greeting Farm - Hello Summer

Hello everyone!  Today I'm sharing a card that I posted over on The Greeting Farm Blog.

 

 

I used the Beach Day stamp set that was part of the June release.  I colored this little surfer with copics and then used my Scan N Cut.  I sponged Peacock Feathers Distress Ink on Bristol card and diecut a wave, then used the same ink to stencil the cloudy sky.  I diecut a polaroid frame and adhered the cloudy sky and ocean wave in the frame.  I added the surfer and diecut sun using foam tape.  I used some pretty, bright dp from Doodlebug Designs and also added a few sequins for some sparkle.
