Your Next Stamp - January Release Sneak Peek

Good morning!  The Your Next Stamp release is later this evening but we have some awesome sneak peeks to share with you now!  We have lots of great products and I know you're going to love the new release!  So ... are you ready for a fun peek?

Isn't this a cute little Valentine doggy?  He's from the Puppy Love stamp set.  He's perfect for all those cards for your canine-loving friends, right?  I colored him with copics and then added some Glossy Accents to his paintbrush and the painted heart.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Die Set and added a few gumdrops too.  Be sure to drop by the Your Next Stamp Blog for links to all the new projects featuring the January release.

I used the Timber clear stamp set and the SugarCuts - Log Cabin Mountainscape die for today's card.  This stamp set is perfect for the guys in your life - hubby, dad, or even a son.  And while the die works great with this stamp set, it would be fabulous with so many other kinds of cards!

The Challenge #56 - Colors

I hope you had an enjoyable weekend!  This is actually my second post today and I'm sharing a card I made for our new challenge over at Always Playing With Paper's The Challenge. 

Our challenge this week is a color challenge.  I used the cute penguin from the Bundled Up stamp set by Sunny Studio Stamps to make a thank you card.  This is an adorable stamp and I love all the little accessories that you can use on the penguin.  I colored the images with copics and then used the coordinating die set to cut them out.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Die Set from Your Next Stamp and the sentiment flag is from My Favorite Things.  I used Glossy Accents on the penguin's beak and feet and then added a few enamel dots to finish my card. 

Copics used:

Penguin - C5, C3, C1

Blue - BG09, BG05, BG01, B000

Orange - Y38, Y18, Y15, Y11

Wishing You Tons of Fun

Good morning!  I hope you're having a wonderful weekend.  I've got a bright and cheery card to share today. 

I used the cute BB Adorable Elephants from My Favorite Things.  I pretty much love everything Birdie Brown but these elephants are one of my favorites!  And the sentiments are fabulous too.  This stamp set can be used for so many kinds of occasions.  I colored everything with copics and added some additional shading to the elephant with colored pencils.  I applied some Glamour Dust to the butterfly to make it sparkle.  The fun papers are from Doodlebug Design - of course!  If you live in my area you can find all of the products (stamps, dies, paper, etc) at The Paper Cottage.
