Paper Smooches - You Make Life Sweet

Good morning!  I hope you're having an amazing week so far.  I used a fun set of stamps and dies from Paper Smooches to make today's card.

 

These fun images are from the Sugar Rush set.  This set was so much fun to play with!  I colored the images with copics ... not much coloring required though so that was quick & easy.  After I colored the images I cut them out using the new Sugar Rush Icons Dies.  I paper-pieced the cupcake liner and added some Wink of Stella clear glitter pen to the frosting.  I fussy-cut the little cherry and added Glossy Accents for some shine.  I added Glossy Accents to the drink and also to the sundae glass.  I also used my Wink of Stella on the popsicle for some sparkle so that it looks like it's "frosty".  Then I used Liquid Applique on the sundae.  I've made lots of cards with this fun set so you'll be seeing them pop up on my blog over the next couple of weeks.

The Challenge #38 - You Have My Heart

Happy Monday everyone!  We have a new challenge today over at Always Playing With Paper's The Challenge.  Our challenge this week is a color challenge.

These are gorgeous colors but not ones that I often use so I really struggled with this challenge ;-)  I'm not sure my coral actually looks much like coral, but I think it's close enough, right?  I used a sweet little Pure Innocence girl from My Favorite Things called You Have My Heart.  Love this little cutie and her dog!  I colored them with copics and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Good morning everyone!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  We have a new sketch challenge over on the SugarPea Designs Blog today so I hope you're ready to get inky!

I used this cute girl from the Take A Load Off clear stamp set.  It's been awhile since I've inked up this set and I thought she would be perfect for this sketch!  If you take a look at the photo below you'll see all the fabulous images and sentiments that come in this set.  I used my copics and then paired her up with some bright, cheery Doodlebug Design paper.  As you can see, I turned the sketch on its side.

The rules are simple:
   -   Create a new card or project using the SugarSketch provided

   -   You may rotate/flip the sketch and replace shapes - so long as the original sketch layout is recognizable

Your Next Stamp - June Release & Blog Hop

Good morning everyone!  I'm so happy you stopped by for the Your Next Stamp June release blog hop!  We have lots of fabulous stamps and dies for you this month and I know you're going to love them!  The entire release is available now in the YNS Store.

For my first card I used one of the deer from the Oh Deer set.  I also added a couple of happy flowers from the Plant Some Kindness set.  I colored them with copics and then cut them out using the coordinating dies.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Die Set to cut the white cardstock base and then used the Chunky Grass Die.  The clouds were cut using the Spring/Summer Scene Die Set and the sun is from the Whatknot Seasons Die Set.  I used the Fun Faces stamp set to add a little happy face to the sun.  The yummy gumdrops are one of the new colors called Love Me Some Lattes!    

My second card features the fun Quirky Animals Five clear stamp set and the coordinating dies.  I colored this happy butterfly with distress inks and added some sparkle with Glamour Dust.  There are so many cute images in this set and lots of fun sentiments too!  I used the Stitched Rectangle Die Set again ... can you tell I love this die set lol?  These gumdrops are also a new color and they're called Mermaid Fun.

Your Next Stamp - June Release Sneak Peek

Good morning!  The Your Next Stamp June release is tomorrow but until then we have some fabulous sneak peeks to share with you today!  We have lots of amazing products this month and I know you're going to love our new release!

 

These flowers are from the Plant Some Kindness clear stamp set.  This set has the cutest flower and mushroom images and some great sentiments too!  This set is perfect for lots of different occasions and can be used alone or in combination with other stamps (stop  by tomorrow to see how I've used this set with another new release).  I colored the image with distress inks and cut them out using the coordinating Plant Some Kindness Die set.  I used the Spring/Summer Scene Die Set to create the hills and the sun is from the Whatknot Seasons Die Set.  I used Fun Faces to stamp the happy face on the sun.  Be sure to stop by the YNS Blog to see what the rest of the amazing DT has created for today.

The Greeting Farm - Enjoy!

Good morning and Happy Thursday.  Only one more day till the weekend ... yay!!!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for the Greeting Farm Blog.

I used this sweet Cupcake Anya digi and colored her with copics.  Isn't she a cutie?  She's perfect for a birthday card or even a "just because" card.  The sentiment is from the Happiest Birthday clear stamp set and I used the Happiest Birthday die cuts to make the banner.

Happy Monday everyone!  Wow, can you believe it's June already?  We have a new challenge today over at Always Playing With Paper's The Challenge.  Our challenge this week is a sketch!

I love this sketch that Lesley created!  Sometimes I really struggle with layouts for my cards so I love playing along with sketches.  I used a cute little skunk from the Woodland Cuties clear stamp set from Your Next Stamp.  I colored this little stinker with copics and then used the coordinating Woodland Cuties Die Set to cut him out.  There are lots of really cute critter images in this set along with some fabulous sentiments for most any occasion.

TGF June Challenge - Buttons

Happy Monday!  We've got a new Farm Fresh Challenge over on the TGF Blog today and the theme is "buttons".  

 

 

I used this sweet little deer from the new Wood Friends clear stamp set to make a baby card.  I colored her with copics and then cut her out using the Wood Friends die cuts.  I finished my card with a heart-shaped button that I thought would be perfect for a baby card.  This stamp set and the dies are currently out of stock but I know Marie will have them back in the shop shortly.
