Your Next Stamp - Fun Friday Project

Good morning and happy Friday to all of you!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for the Fun Friday Challenge over on the Your Next Stamp Fun Friday Challenge Blog

These images are from the Silly Monsters set.  These images work perfectly for either birthday cards or Halloween cards.  I love it when you can get lots of use out of one stamp!  I colored these silly monsters with copics and colored pencils and added some Glossy Accents to their eyes.  I also added some gumdrops for sparkle.

To enter the challenge you need to follow the sketch and/or the inspiration photo.  Be sure to stop by the Your Next Stamp Challenge Blog to find all the challenge details and to see the fabulous work by the DT!

SPDSS12 - You Fill My Day With Color

Good morning everyone! We are starting a new sketch challenge today over on the SugarPea Designs Blog!

I used the sweet Teacher's Pet  stamp set.  This is one of my very favorite stamps (and if you scroll down you can see another card made with this set).  I colored it with copics and then added a few enamel dots.  Go grab your favorite stamps (we hope they're SugarPea Designs, but they don't have to be) and make a card to enter our challenge!  You may be the lucky person to win the shop gift certificate!

The rules are very simple…
  • Create a new card or project using the SugarSketch provided.
  • SugarPea Design stamps are NOT required to play along or to win but would be appreciated :)
  • You may rotate/flip the sketch & replace shapes – so long as the original sketch layout is recognizable
  • Upload to your blog or other Online Gallery using Keyword: SPDSS11 so that we may check out your beautiful work
  • Add your name and link to your project in the InLinkz shown below.
  • One randomly selected winner will receive a $10 Gift Certificate to the SugarPea Designs Online Shoppe.
  • However, if the winning entry features a SugarPea Designs stamp we will increase the prize to $15!

Thanks for stopping by!

Time For Tea - Let's Take A Selfie

I'm so happy that it's Friday ... it's been a very long week and I didn't think the weekend would ever roll around!  So do you have lots of fun plans for your weekend?  We're suppose to have some great weather so it should be a fun weekend!  Today I'm sharing a card using a sweet digital image from the Time For Tea Designs shop.

With so many people taking selfies with their phones these days, this image is just perfect!  This image is called Let's Take A Selfie.  I colored her with copics and used some fun papers from Simple Stories.  The little "bingo" cards were cut from the same paper pad, and then I added some washi and a few enamel dots to finish off my card.  Be sure to stop by the Time For Tea Designs etsy shop to check out all the adorable images.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
