The Challenge #47 - Inspiration

Good morning!  We have a new challenge today over at Always Playing With Paper's The Challenge.  Our challenge this week is an inspiration challenge.

I used a Penny Black stamp called Dressed To Scare.  I love this cute cat with the too-big hat lol.  I colored him with copics and then added some bright dp from Doodlebug Design.

Your Next Stamp - October DT Dare

Good morning and welcome to the Your Next Stamp October DT Dare!  This month our dare is Sparkle and Shine!

I used the new Hot Cocoa Phoebe clear stamp set and the coordinating die set.  I love this sweet image and I'm a big fan of all the Phoebe stamps sets!  First I cut some watercolor paper using the Stitched Rectangle Die Set and the Spring/Summer Scene Die Set (the snowy hill).  I added lots of water to some distress inks and applied that to the watercolor paper.  I also added some Glamour Dust to the edges of the watercolor paper but it doesn't show very well in the photo.  I colored Phoebe with copics and popped her up on the snowy hill with foam dots.  Then I added a few Ocean Mist Glittered Gumdrops.

Good morning.  Today I'm sharing a card I made for The Greeting Farm Blog.

These sweet little kids are from the Happy Winter clear stamp set that was just released in September ... so perfect for your holiday and winter cards!  I adore this cute couple with their chubby little cheeks ;-)  I colored them with copics and then cut them out using the coordinating Happy Winter Die Cuts.  I simply added a bow to finish off the card.

Your Next Stamp - Sketch & Color Challenge #25

Happy Friday everyone!  I hope you've had a fabulous week!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for our new Sketch and Color Challenge over on the Your Next Stamp Blog.

I used one of the sweet penguins and the sentiment from the Waddles - Trick or Treat stamp set.  I colored the penguin with copics and then cut him out using the coordinating die set.  I also used the Stitched Rectangle Die Set, the Circles - Stitching Marks Die Set, and the Circles Die Set.  I also added some Candy Corn and Spellbound Gumdrops.

Your Next Stamp - October Release & Blog Hop

For my first card I used Hot Cocoa Phoebe.  I think she's so sweet and that little snowman is totally adorable!  I colored them with copics and then cut out the images using the Hot Cocoa Phoebe Die Set.  I cut the blue panel using the Stitched Rectangle Die and I used the Scallop Edge Die on the striped dp.  The snowy hills were cut using the Spring/Summer Scene Die Set.  The snowflakes are from the Winter Fun Tag Die Set.  I added lots of Glamour Dust to the snowflakes and then glued an Ocean Mist Glittered Gumdrop in the center of the snowflakes.  I used a Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen on the little hearts under the sentiment.

My second card features the adorable Sprinkles - Sew Cute stamp set.  This set is perfect for making cards for all your sewing friends.  The bunny is so loveable and there are lots of fabulous accessories and sentiments.  I love this set!  I colored these images with copics and cut them out using the Sprinkles - Sew Cute die set.  I also used the Scallop Edge Die and the Stitched Rectangle Die Set.  I added a few sparkly gumdrops to finish my card.

Your Next Stamp - October Release Sneak Peek

Have A Fang-Tastic Day!

It's Tuesday and I hope you're having a "fang-tastic" day!  I just wanted to share a Halloween card I made using a fun stamp set from Your Next Stamp.

This cute little vampire is from the Fang-tastic Halloween stamp set and the set includes lots of cute Halloween images and sentiments.  I colored him with copics and then cut him out using the coordinating Fang-tastic Halloween Die Set.  Of course that cute sentiment is part of this set too!

Here's a picture of the stamp set with all the fun characters and sentiments.  If you're local, Brenda over at The Paper Cottage has the stamps, dies, 6x6 paper pad, and enamel dots in stock.  Or of course you can find them in the Your Next Stamp shop.

The Challenge #46 - Colors

Good morning!  We have a new challenge today over at Always Playing With Paper's The Challenge.  Our challenge this week is a color challenge and it's perfect for any of those fall-themed cards you may be wanting to make.

Beautiful colors, right?  I used a sweet little deer from The Greeting Farm's Wood Friends clear stamp set to make this very clean and simple card.  I colored the deer and acorns with copics and then cut them out using the coordinating Wood Friends Die Cuts.  My papers are from Carta Bella.
