Ribbons and Bows

Hello friends.  We have a new challenge today over at Di's DigiDesigns Challenge Blog.  Our challenge is to use ribbons and bows on your project.

I used Gardening Rascal on my card today.  Isn't he adorable?  I colored him with copics and colored pencils and used Glossy Accents on his nose and the water sprinkles.  There's Glamour Dust Ultra Fine Glitter Paint on the flower center and Liquid Applique on his tail.  I stitched all my papers and then added some ribbon and a little flower to finish my card.

We're being sponsored by Crafts-4-You and I hope you play along in our new challenge.  Please stop by Di's DigiDesigns Challenge Blog to see what the rest of the amazing dt have created for this challenge.

Such An Angel

Happy Friday friends.  I don't know about you but this has been a very long week for me and I'm so glad the weekend is finally here!  I do have a cute little angel to share with you today.

This is Barry Angel and he is part of Gerda's latest release over in the StampFairy shop.  He's colored with copics and colored pencils and I used Glossy Accents on his nose and the pads of his feet.  I applied glitter paint to his wings and the stars.  I first read about the Glamour Dust Ultra Fine Glitter Paint over on the amazingly talented Lori Aragon's blog.  This glitter paint doesn't cause the ink in digis to smear like Stickles sometimes does.  (If you aren't familiar with Lori's work, stop by and visit her blog ... you won't be disappointed!)  I used Liquid Applique on the cloud and finished my card with some ribbon and buttons.

Please stop by the StampFairy blog to check out the amazing work by the rest of the DT.  You're sure to find lots of inspiration over there.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a fabulous weekend.

Holiday Star Dust

Happy Wedneday to all of you.  I hope you're having a great week so far.  I have a holiday card today.

I was trying to decide which of my adorable stamps to use for my Wedneday post over on the Simply Sassy Blog.  I knew I wanted to do a Christmas card and as I was looking through my stamps, I spotted Star Dust.  It's been a while since I had inked her up and I thought she would be perfect for a holiday card.  I finally bought the Martha Stewart Snowflake Trim punch the other day and used it on my card and added some pearls to the snowflakes.  All my papers are stitched and I've used Glamour Dust on her shoes and the "star dust" she's sprinkling around.  I added a bow and then inked the edges of the glittery stars I purchased a long time ago at Michaels - not sure if the inking shows up very well.  One more Christmas card done and added to my stash!

Thank you for stopping by.

New Digi Releases over at Whimsy Stamps

Hello to all of you.  We have a blog hop and some fabulous new releases to share over on the Whimsy Stamps Inspiration Blog

I used Polar Claus, an adorable new digi image by Kathryne of StampArt Design.  I've colored this cutie with copics and colored pencils and used some Glossy Accents on the nose.  I paper-pieced the hat and used Liquid Applique on the fluffy parts.  I've got him lying on a bed of Glamour Dust "snow".  Well, I probably shouldn't have done that as he's probably freezing lol, but the sparkly snow always looks so pretty.  The sentiment is from Warm Winter Wishes Sentiments by Raindrop Echo Designs.  Both the image and the sentiment can be found over in the Whimsy store.

Now, to join in the Blog Hop, scoot over to the Whimsy Inspiration Blog to find out all the details.

Spooky Treats

Have you had your Trick-or-Treat night yet?  Ours was last night and we actually had more beggers than we've had the last couple of years.  It's so fun to see the little ones in their costumes, isn't it?  I love making Halloween cards and decorations so I'm sad that Halloween is almost over.  This will probably be my last Halloween project for the year.

I used Background Haunted House from Di's Digi Downloads.  I printed the haunted house scene onto my Halloween paper and then cut out the scalloped tag using a Sizzix die.  I made the rosette and added a computer-generated sentiment.  Some black and orange gingham ribbon finished off my project.  My hubby found this candy jar so I'm really suprised there's any candy corn left lol!

Happy Halloween

Just a quick post to share a picture of a treat bag I made using this cute image from the Barry Halloween collection.  I made a few of these for my grandson to give to some of his little friends.  You can find this adorable image and lots of others over at StampFairy.

This cutie is colored with copics and colored pencils and I added Glossy Accents to his nose.  I covered the little mini-clothespin with paper and attached a sparkly dimensional spider sticker.  These were super easy to make and Zack loved them.
