Somebunny Special

Good morning crafty friends!  I'm sharing an Easter slimline card I made for the Hello Bluebird challenge over on Instagram.

I combined several stamp sets and dies to make this fun card.  The bunny images are from the Meadow Bunnies and Carried Away stamp sets, and the sentiment is from the Easter Egg Hunt stamp set.  I cut the Partly Cloudy Slimline Die from white cardstock and adhered it to a panel that I inked with Cracked Pistachio, Spun Sugar, and Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide Inks.  I colored all the images with copics and diecut them with the coordinating dies.  I used a black gel pen for their eyes, and I added a few highlights to the bunny cheeks and balloons with a white gel pen.  I stamped the sentiment on white cardstock and then adhered all the bunnies and the sentiment with foam tape.

Copics:

Bunnies - E53, E51, E50; R20; E01, E00, E000

Balloons - V15, V12, V01; Y13, Y11, Y00, Y000

Flowers - R32, R30; G21, G20

Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge 15 - Green

Good morning crafty friends!  I'm guest designing for the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge this month and the challenge theme is green!

I used the BB Beast Friends stamp set and coordinating dienamics for my card.  I stamped all the images, colored them with copics, and diecut them.  For the base of my card I stamped the Snowflake Flurry Background, heat embossed it, and inked it with Lucky Clover and Shabby Shutters Distress Oxide Inks.  I diecut to snow slopes and inked the the top edges with Iced Spruce and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks.  I adhered the snowflake panel and back snow slope directly to my card and adhered the front snow slope with foam tape.  I adhered all the images with foam tape also.  I heat embossed the sentiment on black cardstock and adhered it to my card.

Sending Holiday Hugs - Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge 14

Good afternoon crafty friends!  I have a Christmas card to share with you today and I've used an adorable image from my favorite ETSY shop - LTTS Doodles!

I've been trying to work on Christmas cards throughout 2023 so I can build up my stash and not panic when November rolls around.  I enjoy playing along in the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge because it motivates me to make at least one Christmas card!  The theme for for their February challenge is to add at least one heart.  I diecut a stitched rectangle and sponged it with Pumice Stone, Tumbled Glass, and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Inks.  I spattered the panel with white gouache and once it was dry I stamped a sentiment and adhered the panel to my card front.  This cute image is from the Coffee Break stamp set and there are several different cups and bunnies to choose from.  I printed the image on Neenah cardstock, colored it with copics, and fussy cut it.  I used a white gel pen on the bunny's eyes and cheeks and added a few tiny heart embellishments to coffee cup.  I adhered the images with foam tape to give some added dimension to this clean and simple card.

Copics:

Bunny - E53, E51, E50; R20, R00

Bow - R59, R39, R37, R32

Cup - C5, B39, B37, B34; R39, R37, R35

Coffee - E59, E57, E55

Heart - R35, R32, R30

There's still time to play along in the challenge and the prize for one lucky winner is three items from the LTTS Doodles Etsy Shop!

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a fantastic day!

You Make Every Day Merry

Good morning crafty friends!  Today I'm sharing a Christmas card with products from My Favorite Things

This adorable fox is from the Freezin' Season stamp set.  I colored him with copics and then diecut him with the coordinating die-namics.  I stamped a panel of bristol card with the Snowflake Flurry Background stamp and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  I sponged the panel with Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Prize Ribbon, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Inks and adhered it to my red card base.  I diecut the Stacked Merry Die-namic several times and glued the diecut words with liquid glue.  I adhered the large sentiment to my card.  I heat-embossed a sentiment from the BB Holiday Penguins stamp set and adhered the sentiment and fox to my card with foam tape.
