Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop

Welcome to the Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop!  If you are looking for some inspiration for Christmas projects, you have come to the right place.  Our team does a monthly Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop! We will be sharing Christmas creations on the 25th of each month.

The whole idea is to have some Christmas cards and projects in our stash all ready to go for December 2019!

I decided to make some gift tags this month ... you can never have too many, right?  The snowmen are from Avery Elle's Snow Fun stamp set.  I colored the snowmen with copics and diecut them using the coordinating dies. I used the Square Window Tag Confetti Cuts from Reverse Confetti to make shaker tags!     I diecut the tags from white cardstock and adhered colorful pink, green, and blue paper to the back of the tags.  I assembled the shakers and then adhered the snowmen to the front of the tags.  I added a diecut snowflake and then placed a small pearl in the center of each flake.  I added some white ribbon, gold cording, and a gold jingle bell to finish my tags.

Be sure to hop along to visit each of the blogs.  There's tons of inspiration and ideas to get your creative juices flowing!

LDRS Creative Feature Blog Hop - Day 1

Hello everyone and welcome to our Fall and Halloween Feature!

For the next two days, the Design Team has created gorgeous projects to inspire you with the latest Fall collection that is now available in a local craft store near you!

We are talking about...

Some amazing Halloween High Jinks Stamps (cut out in no time with the coordinating die set), Happy Haunting Stamps (with a perfect coordinating die set here), and one of the new Petal Pusher sets, Pick of the Patch (and its die set)!

We also continued adding to our wonderful Basic dies line: In the Breeze Die SetDown Main Street Die, and Over the Hills Die. Not to forget Up a Tree Die SetGarden Gateway Die SetGarden Wreath Die Set. They fit with all of our products, so don't miss out on them!

People have been amazed by the thickness of the brand new Fall 6x6 paperpack, Sweater Weather - 6x6 Paper. How GORGEOUS is it?!

And of course, a brand new all-in-one stencil called A Walk in the Park - 6x6 Stencil!

Hop around this short hop to see all the beautiful creations and new techniques used on them!

I used the new Happy Haunting Stamps to create my card.  I love sponging inks onto my backgrounds to create night skies so I thought this technique would be perfect for a Halloween card!  I colored the images with alcohol markers.  I inked the background with blue and purple inks.  I diecut the grassy area using the In The Grass Die Set and sponged green ink onto the grass.  I diecut the moon with die from the Scalloped Circle Frame Set and sponged it with yellow ink.  I used the In A Cloudy Sky Die Set to diecut a cloud that I sponged with blue ink.  I adhered all the images with foam tape for dimension.

Create A Smile Challenge - Mood Board

Good morning!  We have a new challenge today over on the Create A Smile Stamps Blog.

Our new challenge is a mood board so there's lots of room for your own personal interpretation!  I used VersaMark ink to stamp images from the Floral Decorations stamp set onto a strip of Bristol card and then I heat-embossed them with white embossing powder.  I sponged Peacock Feathers and Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide Inks over the flowers, then wiped the ink off the embossed florals with a clean cloth.  I used the Cool Cuts Postage Edge Circles to cut a piece of vellum, which I adhered over the embossed florals.  I used the Cool Cuts Hello Twice die to cut the sentiment;  I cut two from white cardstock and one from Bristol that I had sponged with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink.  I glued all the sentiments together so it would add some dimension to my card.   I added a few clear embellishments and that finished off my card!

I hope you find some time to play along in the challenge.  The winner will receive a gift card to the CAS shop.  You can find all the details over on the Create A Smile Blog

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day!

Oh Deer!

** Please scroll down for The Greeting Farm Blog Hop **

Good morning!  Today I'm sharing a card that I posted over on the LDRS Inspiration Blog

I used the Woodland Wonderland stamps for this card.  There are lots of adorable critters in this stamp set but I only used the deer today.  I stamped the image with Raven Hybrid Ink onto white cardstock.  I colored the deer with Copics and then diecut it using the Woodland Wonderland Die Set.

I cut a piece of pattern paper from the Christmas Cottage 6x6 paper to 4.25" x 5.5" and adhered it to my card.  I used two dies from the Scalloped Rectangle Frame Set to cut a panel from white cardstock and brown cardstock.  I sponged inks onto the white panel and adhered it the brown mat.  I stamped the sentiment using Raven Hybrid Ink.  I adhered the panel to my card and added some twine around the card, tying it in a bow.  I adhered the deer using foam tape.  I think this image and pattern paper are just perfect for a male card!

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a beautiful day!

The Greeting Farm - October Previews Day 4

Hello and welcome to Day 4 of The Greeting Farm previews of the October release!  Today I'm sharing a card that features the new Merry Christmas Die.

I love this die!  The script is beautiful and it's large enough to use as the focal point on your card.  It's perfect for mass-producing clean and simple cards this holiday season!  I diecut a panel of Bristol card, sponged on some distress oxide ink, and spattered water with a small paint brush.  I added a few small diecut snowflakes and adhered a tiny pearl to the center of each.

Be sure to stop back tomorrow, October 15th for our Blog Hop!

Good morning!  Today I'm sharing a winter card featuring an adorable stamp set from Avery Elle.

I'm a sucker for snowmen stamps and as soon as I saw these in my local shop I knew I had to have them!  These cute little snowmen are from the Snow Fun  stamp set.  I colored the images with copics and used my ScanNCut to diecut them.  I used a piece of Lawn Fawn paper for the background and I used a Lawn Fawn die to cut the snowy hills.  I sponged distress inks on the tops of the hills and adhered them to my card.  I adhered the snowmen and the sentiment strip with foam tape for some dimension.

Copics Used:
Snowmen - BV20, BG70; R30, R00
Branch Arms - E33, E31
