Our challenge this week is a color challenge and I used the adorable BB Mermazing stamp set from My Favorite Things. I started off my using my new Distress Oxide Ink pads in Cracked Pistachio and Broken China to create my background. I colored the sweet mermaid and rock with copics and fussy cut them. I used a black glaze pen on the mermaid's eyes and some Glamour Dust on the little starfish in her hair. I used the Stitched Rectangle Scallop Frame Die-namic to diecut the frame around the scene. I adhered acetate behind the frame and used some clear sequins to make a shaker card. This card is on it's way to a special friend that absolutely adores mermaids - I hope she likes it!
Be sure to stop by The Challenge to see what the rest of the DT created this week. I hope you find some time to play along in the challenge.
