I Thank My Lucky Stars You'e In My Life

Happy Thursday!  The weekend will be here soon and I sure hope it brings some warmer weather to my area.  It was so cold and windy yesterday it felt like winter brrr!  Anyway, I've got a sweet CAS card to share today.

I've had this adorable Shooting Star stamp from Mama Elephant forever and finally found some time to ink her up.  I colored her with copics and gave her red hair.  My little granddaughter has red hair and this card is for her, as the sentiment perfectly describes my feelings for that sweet little girl!  I used the coordinating die to cut her out and then popped her up on top of some clouds.  I added a few sequins for some sparkle.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a great day!

Hugs, Anita

Your Next Stamp - May DT Dare

Good morning and welcome to the Your Next Stamp May DT Dare!  Our dare this month was to create a project with "stripes".

This cute fisherman is from the new Keepin' It Reel stamp set.  I love this fisherman and the sentiments in this set are so funny!  I colored him with copics and then cut him out using the coordinating dies.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Die to cut the striped paper and then used the Circles with Stitching and Piercing Marks Die to cut the yellow paper behind the fisherman.  I added a few of the new Cosmic Crush Sparkly Gumdrops to finish my card.   I have a brother-in-law that's an avid fisherman and this card just makes me think of him ... especially that sentiment lol!!!

Be sure to stop by the YNS Blog for more inspiration.  Karen gives away a stamp set to one lucky person that leaves a comment!

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you have a great day!

Look Whooo's Having A Birthday

Good morning everyone!  I have a fun and colorful birthday card to share today.

This cute owl is from Pink and Main's What A Hoot stamp set.  There are several sweet owl images and fabulous sentiments in this set so be sure to stop by Pink and Main's shop to check it out!  I colored the image with copics and then used the coordinating die to cut out the owl.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Die from Your Next Stamp to cut the designer papers.  I applied some Glossy Accents to the owl's beak and feet and used my Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen on the hat and balloons.  Lastly, I added a few enamel dots to finish my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have an amazing week!

The Challenge #71 - Sketch

Good morning, I hope you had a fabulous weekend.   Today I'm sharing a card I made for our new challenge over at Always Playing With Paper's The Challenge.  Each week we have a different type of challenge and this week it's a sketch.  I hope you find some time to play along with us!

I used the Three Amigos stamp set from Mama Elephant.  Love the adorable little critters in this set and the tiny sentiments are so perfect for tons of occasions!  I colored this little fox with copics and cut him out using the coordinating dies.   I used a black glaze pen on the eyes and nose to give them some shine.

Be sure to stop by The Challenge to see the great projects by the rest of the DT!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Your Next Stamp - May Release and Blog Hop

Good evening everyone!  I'm so happy you joined us for the Your Next Stamp May release blog hop!  We have lots of fun stamps and dies for you this month and I know you're going to love them!  The entire release is available now in the YNS Store.

Make sure you hop around to all of the blogs featured in the link list located at the bottom of this post for inspiration using the new products!  Also remember to leave a comment on all of the blogs for a chance to win a YNS Gift Certificate!

For my first card I used Word Critters Collection - Gardening Birds.  I fell in love with this set as soon as I saw it!  The birdies and other images are so cute and I love the sentiments too.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Die to cut my white cardstock and then I used the Peek A Boo Window Die to cut the opening.  I sponged some green and blue inks on my card base inside the window opening.  I colored all the images with copics and cut them out using the coordinating dies.  I used Glossy Accents on the water in the birdbath and then I added a few sparkly Magical Pastel and Hey Baby gumdrops to finish my card.

My second card features the Little Notes stamp set.  I love this set too!  I absolutely adore the sentiments and you can make some quick and easy cards to send to all those special friends to let me know you're thinking of them!  I used the Stitched Rectangle Die to cut the plaid pattern.  I stamped the notebook paper on Neenah cardstock and used the coordinating dies to cut everything out.  I added some Magical Pastel and Ocean Mist glittered gumdrops.  I even finished the inside of the card with a scrap of the plaid paper and the cute little sun that's included in this stamp set!

Karen is offering 20% off your entire purchase from May 1st through May 5th!  Be sure to stop back by the YNS Blog on May 4th for even more inspiration with the new release stamps and dies!

Thank you for hopping along with us!  Don't forget to leave a comment at each stop.  The hop ends May 3rd at 12 midnight EST.
