Your Next Stamp - February DT Dare

Good morning and welcome to the Your Next Stamp February DT Dare!  This month our dare is to feature red as our predominant color.

I used the new Sprinkles-Sugar Rush stamp set today.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Die Set to cut some watercolor paper and then applied some distress ink and water for my background.  I colored the images with copics and cut them out using the coordinating die set.  I used a Wink of Stella clear glitter pen on the little candies and the lollipop and then finished my card by adding a few Cupid Gumdrops

Be sure to stop by the YNS Blog for more inspiration.  Karen gives away a stamp set to one lucky person that leaves a comment!

You're One Of My Favorite Peeps

Good morning!  I know it may seem a little early to be sharing Easter cards but Easter comes early this year (March 27) so it will be here before we know it, right?

My favorite local store, The Paper Cottage, recently started carrying stamps by Pink and Main.  If you're not familiar with this company be sure to stop by and check them out.  They've got some really cute stamp sets!  I used the Easter Peeps stamp set for my card today.  I colored everything with copics and then diecut them using the coordinating dies.  I added some Glossy Accents to the chickie's beak and Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen to the butterfly and eggs.  I also used the Stitched Rectangle and Scallop Edge dies from Your Next Stamp and added a few sparkly sequins.

If you are local, you can find all the supplies for this card at The Paper Cottage.  The challenge this month over on the Pink and Main Blog is a love theme so I'm entering my card in their challenge.  I might be stretching it a bit but I think "a favorite peep" would fit the love theme, right?

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great day!

Hugs, Anita

Make sure you hop around to all of the blogs featured in the link list located at the bottom of this post for inspiration using the new products!  Also remember to leave a comment on all of the blogs for a chance to win a YNS Gift Certificate!

For my first card I used Sprinkles Sugar Rush.  Isn't this bunny adorable?  I used the Stitched Rectangle Die set to cut a piece of watercolor paper and then added some water and Picked Raspberry distress ink.  I colored the bunny with copics and then cut her out using the coordinating die set.  I used the Bow-tiful Little Bows Die set to make the little blue bow.  I added some Glossy Accents to the bunny's nose and tongue and then applied my Wink of Stella Clear Glitter pen to the lollipop.  I also used some sparkly gumdrops on my card.

My second card features the Coffee Break clear stamp set.  An adorable set that combines coffee and some of our favorite animals!  There are tons of sentiments included in this set!  I colored the image with copics and then cut it out using the coordinating die set.  Again, I used the Stitched Rectangle Die Set to cut the flowered paper and I used the new Doily Trio Die set to cut the brown doily behind the pup.  I paper-pieced the coffee mug and then added some Glossy Accents to the pup's nose.

Karen is offering 20% off your entire purchase from February 6th through February 12th!  Be sure to stop back by the YNS Blog on February 10th for even more inspiration with the new release stamps and dies!

Your Next Stamp - February Release Sneak Peek

Good morning everyone!  The Your Next Stamp release is later this evening but we are sharing some awesome sneak peeks with you now!  We have so many fabulous products this month and I know you're going to love the new release!  So ... are you ready for a little peek?

This little sweetie is Birthday Phoebe - isn't she adorable?  I love the Phoebe images and I'm always so happy when Karen offers a new set to add to my growing collection!   She's so perfect for birthday cards for both the younger and older girls in your life.  Of course if you pair her with some of the other images in the stamp set then she works for more than just birthday cards!  I colored this cutie with copics and then cut her out using the coordinating die set.   I used the Stitched Rectangle Die Set to cut my designer paper.  I used the new Doily die to cut the pretty heart doily that's behind Phoebie and I used the Bow-tiful Little Bows die set to cut the little bow that I placed at the top of the doily.  I used my Wink of Stella clear glitter pen on the balloon to give it a little sparkle.

Be sure to drop by the Your Next Stamp Blog for links to all the new projects featuring the February release.

The Challenge #59 - Sketch

Good morning!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  Today I'm sharing a card I made for the new challenge over at Always Playing With Paper's The Challenge.  Each week we have a different type of challenge and this week it's a sketch.  I hope you find some time to play along with us!

I decided to pull out my distress inks and make a watercolor background for our sketch this week.  I cut my watercolor panel with the Stitched Rectangle Die set from Your Next Stamp.  I used the Small Snowflake Die set from Impression Obsession and cut my snowflakes from white glitter paper and then added a small pearl to the center of each snowflake.  The sentiment is from the Snow Kissed stamp set by Sunny Studio Stamps.

Be sure to stop by The Challenge to see the fabulous projects by the rest of the DT!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs, Anita
