The Greeting Farm - June Previews Day 2

Hello and welcome to Day 2 of The Greeting Farm previews of the June release!  Today I'm sharing a card that features the new Beach Day stamp set. 



This set is perfect for creating your vacation and/or summer-themed cards and layouts!  There are several adorable images in this set and perfect sentiments too!  To create the sand and waves, I sponged distress inks onto Bristol card.  I flicked water onto the waves and spattered brown acrylic paint onto the sand, then diecut them with some dies.  I used a stencil to create the cloudy sky.  I colored the cute couple with copics and cut them out using my Scan N Cut.  I adhered the images with foam tape and then added diecut clouds and a sun to finish my card.

The Greeting Farm - June Previews Day 1

Hello and welcome to Day 1 of The Greeting Farm previews of the June release!  Today I'm sharing a card that features the new Minkie #2 stamp set.

This new Minkie #2 set as the cuties little characters and of course they mix and match perfectly with the Minkie #1 set that was released last month!  I sponged some distress ink onto Bristol card and diecut it to create the grassy area.  I stamped the sky with blue ink using a large gingham stamp and cut a frame from white cardstock using a die.  I colored the images with copics and adhered them with foam tape for dimension.  I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set onto a diecut cloud and adhered that to my card.

The Greeting Farm - You're My Universe

Hello everyone!  Today I'm sharing a card that I posted over on The Greeting Farm Blog.

I used the My Universe stamp set.  Although my card features a little boy astronaut, there's also a cute girl astronaut image included in the stamp set, so this set is perfect for all kinds of cards!  I used distress inks on Bristol card to create my galaxy.  After applying the distress inks, I spattered white acrylic paint over the background.  I stamped the images, colored them with copics, and diecut them using the coordinating dies.  I diecut a "moon" from gray cardstock using a circle die and then I adhered all the images to the card using foam tape.  I used white embossing powder for the sentiment and attached that with foam tape also.

Have A Cool Birthday

Good morning friends!  Today I'm sharing a card featuring a sweet stamp set from Reverse Confetti.

These adorable images are from the Ice Cream Social set.  As soon as I saw this stamp set I knew I had to have it!  Such cute images and perfect for making birthday and summer-themed cards, right?  I sponged distress oxide inks onto a piece of Bristol and then diecut some squares using a stitched square die.  I colored the stamped images with copics and diecut them using my Scan N Cut.  I used a black glaze pen on the dog's and bear's eyes and noses and added Wink of Stella Clear Glitter to the popsicle.  I adhered the images with foam tape for dimension.

Create A Smile Stamps Challenge - Sketch

Good morning!  We have a new challenge today over on the Create A Smile Stamps Blog.

Our new challenge is a Sketch. I used stamps from the Doctor's Helpers stamp set.  I adore this cute little mouse with the needle and I think it works perfectly to bring a smile to someone that's feeling under the weather!  I stamped the image and diecut it using a stitched square die.  I colored the image with copics and used some fun Doodlebug Design papers to make my card.

Hello Summer

Hello everyone!  Today I'm sharing a card that I posted over on The Greeting Farm Blog.

These sweet images are from the Pool Party stamp set that was released earlier this month.  I've already made so many summer cards with this set and I couldn't resist making another one!  I used a stencil to create the waves in the water, and then I sponged on yellow ink for the sky.  I sponged ink onto a piece of Bristol, spattered on brown acrylic paint, diecut the Bristol, and adhered it onto my card to create the sand.  I colored the images with copics and diecut them using my Scan N Cut.  I applied Nuvo Crystal Glaze to their sunglasses and then adhered everything to my card with foam tape.
